"Goodbye Izuku. Have a good time at the summer camp" Hisashi said while waving goodbye. "Bye dad! Bye mom! See you in a week" Izuku said and walked towards UA ready for the summer camp.
When he arrived at the gates of UA he saw the rest of his classmates. "Hey Izuku. Looking forward to summer camp?" Ochako asked with excitement. Izuku suddenly realised how close Ochako's face was and started to blush and get flustered. "W-well I yes it w-will be great!" Izuku stuttered out. then Ochako realised how close their faces was and was reminded of what Aoyama told her during the exam. This turned her into a blushing mess as well and she quickly stepped away fro Izuku.
"So as I said, we will have a special guest joining us for the camp. He will also be joining our class when the summer vacation is over" Aizawa announced, making everyone look towards the new member of class 1-A. "Hello, I'm Hitoshi Shinso. I will do my best to become a hero and do not have any intentions of making friends" The purple haired teen introduced himself. "Reminds me of how Todoroki was before the sports festival" Izuku muttered quietly.
"I heard that class A had five people that failed the practical. Isn't class A supposed to be better than class B, but they still had more people that failed!" Monoma said in his crazy voice. Kendo quickly made him go quiet by giving a quick chop to his neck. "I apologize on his behalf. I hope you don't think we are all like him" She said. Izuku's expression soured when he remembered what Monoma had said in the cafeteria, but it quickly passed. "Don't worry. It's okay" he responded.
After that both of the classes got into their own busses and started driving towards the training camp. Izuku sat next to Shinso in an attempt to talk with him. "I said I'm not interested in making friends" Shinso said before Izuku could say anything. "Why? Everyone in the class is nice and would love to mae a new friend. Even Kacchan can make friends, he just has his own idea of friendship" Izuku asked.
"You don't get" Shinso responded, with his anger growing. "People only see me as a villain due to my quirk. People have always said I should become a villain and that I couldn't be a hero. It's better to not get involved. You don't understand anyways"
Izuku let out a small chuckle. "What's so funny?" shinso asked with an annoyed tone. "You really think I don't know where you have come from" Izuku responded "I went through ten years of hell before I got here. Once people found out I was quirkless I was thrown to the side like trash. It got even worse beacuse I still wanted to become a hero. So I can promise you that everyone in this class will accept you and see past your quirk and it's villainous nature. Even Kacchan has apologized for the years of bullying, but don't tell him that I said this"
Hitoshi was silent, having a new respect for Izuku, knowing that they both have been pushed down by society. "Fine. I'll give it a shot" he said. "Thats good to hear. You won't regrett it!" Izuku responded with a bright smile.
Izuku and Shinso didn't talk much for the rest of the tour. Mostly beacuse Shinso quickly fell asleep. So Izuku ended up talking with Iida and Ochako who sat close by. They eventually stopped so that they could have a break. Izuku noticed that class B's buss didn't stop with them and that there was no bathroom outside. So while the others stretched their leg and looked for a bathroom, he quietly picked some of his equipment.
When Izuku had picked up his equipment two members of the wild wild pussycats had appeared, Mandalay and Pixie-Bob. "Your lodge is by the foot of that mountain over there" Mandalay said, confirming Izuku's suspicions. "It's around 9:30 AM right now, so I would say around noon" By now the other classmates understood what was going on and headed towards the bus. "Those who doesn't arrive by that time won't get any lunch!" Mandalay announced. "Sorry kids" Aizawa said as Pixie-Bob blocked their way to the bus "Training camp has begun" he said and all the students was pushed off the cliff by a wave of earth and fell ino the forest.
"You have three hours to reach the camp. We own the forest so you can use your quirks" Mandalay shouted to them when they landed. Izuku was prepared for this and managed to land better than most. Mineta ran quickly into the forest, looking for a place he could take a piss. He quickly came back out, chased by an earth beast. Todoroki, Bakugo, Iida and Izuku dashed towards the beast and attacked it. Their combined efforts made the beast blow up and fall to the ground as pieces of earth.
While the rest of the class started fighting the eart beasts, Izuku dashed towards Shinso. "Your quirk will have no use in this situation. Take this" He said and threw his staff over to Shinso. "Wont you need it?" Shinso asked. "Right now you need it more than me. And I still have these" Izuku replied and showed off his shields "And I have a second staff" he said and grabbed his second staff from his back. He then quickly went through how it worked before jumping back into the fighting.
Kaminari had just gone above his limit and had been turned into a dumb Saitame with yellow hair. Just before a beast was about to strike him Izuku came in and rammed into the head of the beast with his shield. The beast fell to the ground and Izuku picked up his stupified classmate and carried him to another group of people. "Watch over him!" Izuku told them before leaving so he could fight more beasts.
"That quirkless kid is something else. He has taken down eight of my earth beasts in less than 15 seconds. What have you been hiding Aizawa? Maybe he should get a challenge?" Pixie-Bob commented with amazement as the trio of heros saw fighting in the forest beneath. "I don't know if there is many things you can do to give him a proper challenge" Aizawa responded. "We will see about that" she said with a devilish grin.
Izuku was searching for more beasts to attack when he suddenly spotted one. It was much bigger than any of the others. Just one of its legs was as big as the trees. Izuku was unfazed by this and started attacking it. He charged at one of the legs, spinning like a tornado. The exploded into many pieces on impact. This made the beast lose balance and fall on the ground. Izuku then came from behind the beast and went up its back like a tornado, causing great damage. He then jumped over the beasts head and down towards the ground. He quickly turned around and charged at the head with full speed, using his shield as a battering ram. The head was completly destroyed and what remained of it fell into a pile of dirt.
Around five o'clock class 1-A came out of the forest. They were completly exhausted and covered in sweat and dirt as well as their clothes being a complete mess. "Seems like you didn't make it in time for lunch" Mandalay said. "But you used less time than we thought" Pixie-Bob commented "And you were great at dealing with my earth beasts. Especially you four" She said and pointed towards Todoroki, Bakugo, Iida and Izuku.
Izuku then noticed a young boy who had been looking at them. "I've been wondering. Whose kid is that?" He asked. "Oh, he is actually my nephew" Mandaly responded "Kota, come and say hi!" Izuku went over to the young boy and extended his hand for a handshake. "Hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya. Nice to meet you!" Izuku greeted. Kota then punched Izuku's crotch, making him almost fall over in pain.
Iida quickly came to comfort Izuku. "Why would you punch Midoriya in his scrotum!?" Ida exclaimed. "I can't abide jerks who wanna be heros!" Kota yelled back as he walked away. "Enough messing around. Go grab your luggage from the bus and take it to your rooms. We will soon have dinner and after that you will have a bath. Use this day to relax since training begins tomorrow" Aizawa announced and the students started to pick up their luggage, eager for dinner.
After having eaten everything they had been offered the students took a bath in the hot springs. While most of the guys wanted to relax in the war water, Mineta had different plans. He walked uo to the wall sperating the girls and boys and despite Iida's protests, he began climbing. Before he reached the top he was stopped by Kota. "If you want to be a hero you should learn to be a decent human being first!" Kota scolded him before pushing him off the wall.
"Thanks Kota!" Ashido said happily from the other side of the wall. Kota looked towards th girls, but forgot they were naked. He tumbled down from the wall due to the shock. While Iida was busy catching Mineta with his face Izuku managed to catch Kota just in time. Kota had fallen unconscious, so Izuku took him to Mandalay.
"He must have passed out due to the fear of falling" Mandalay said "We made him watch over the wall since Aizawa told us that one of the boys was the definition of a pervert" "Thats true, but he does have potential. I'm just glad nobody got hurt" izuku replied. "There is one thing that has been bothering me though. Why does he hate heros so much? I grew up around people who admired heros. So I ended up admiring them myself. Even if I have had a few bad experiences with them I still wanted to become one" He asked.
"We don't know the exact reason why, but we can make a pretty good guess" Pixie-Bob said as she netered the room. "His parents were both pro heros. They died while defending civilians two years ago. It was a honorable death, but to him it was like they had left him. While society praised their actions he couldn't understand them and therefore hated them for that. He then associated this hatred with both heros and villains" She explained. "I don't think he likes us that much either, but he cooperates with us since we are his only remaining family" Mandalay commented. "Anyways, you should get some proper clothes on and join the rest of your class" She said. "Yes, of course" Izuku said and walked out.
