It was 5:30 AM when Aizawa started instructing his class. "Morning kids" Aizawa greeted them. "Today the training camp will begin for real. By the end of this you will all come out stronger than when you came. Strong enough to get your provisional licenses. Bakugo, throw this to begin with" He said and threw a ball over to Bakugo. "When school started your record was 705,2 meters. Let's see how much that has improved"
As Bakugo readied his throw people began wondering how far he would throw. Some speculated that he would get over a kilometer. "GO TO HELL!" Bakugo yelled and propelled the ball forward with a massive explosion. 'Go to hell? So Kacchan hasn't changed that much' Izuku thought to himself.
Eventually the ball landed deep into the forest and the result was shown. "709,6 meter" Aizawa said and showed the display. "You have all been through a lot these past months and have grown. But you have only improved your techniques and mind and you bodys a little bit. However, your quirks haven't gone through the same growth. So that is what we will be doing at this cam, improving your quirks. This will be so hard that you would wish you were dead, so try to stay alive" Aizawa said with a grin which proised pain to the students.
When class B arrived everyone in class A was already going through some sort of hellish training that involved their quirks. They was suprised when Izuku came flying over their heads moving so fast he seemed like a blur. He then crashed straight into a tree and stopped for a moment. "Did I tell you to stop" Tiger said, sounding more like a treath than a question. "No!" Izuku responded and started moving through the forest again, as fast as his equipment would allow him. And hitting a tree trunk or a branch every now and again.
It was a welcome change when the training was over and they could make their own dinner. Especially after Iida made a speech about the importance of making your own food. Todoroki walked around and made fire to the ovens while Bakugo tried making fire with his explosions. They then began preparing the ingridients.
"I didn't expect you to be so good at using a knife Bakugo" Ochako said. "What do you mean you didn't expect it!? How can you be bad at using a knife!?" Bakugo snapped back. "What about the first year cooking competition kacchan?" Izuku asked. "We don't talk about the first year cooking competition. I'm better than you now" Bakugo responded "Is that a challenge?" Izuku asked and the two started having a fierce cooking competition along with some colourful language. Iida tried to calm the two down, but was told to back off by the usual anger of Bakugo and unusual anger of Izuku. In record time all the food was ready with most of it being made by Izuku and Bakugo.
"This is some of the best curry I have had, even if it's a bit spicy" Kirishima said. "It's supposed to be spicy!" Bakugo snapped back. "Your curry is also quite spicy Midoriya. Didn't know you also liked spicy food" Iida commented. "I have always liked spicy food" Izuku responded and swallowed some of the food. "Not hot enough" He said to himself and pulled out a dried carolina reaper and crunched it up and put it in the curry. "You still have those with you?" Bakugo asked. "I have to. The food is never spicy enough" Izuku responded. "How are you even able to eat that!?" Ochako asked. "My father breaths fire so I guess I got some of those genes" Izuku replied and kept eating without burning his mouth, despite consuming the worlds strongest chili.
While Izuku went to get another portion he noticed Kota walking away from everyone else and decided to follow him. Kota walked to a cliff with a view over the entire camp. "So this is your calm place" Izuku said making Kota turn around in suprise. "How did you find this place?" Kota asked angrily. "Sorry, I followed you. I thought you might be hungry so I brought some food" Izuku responded. "Don't want it. I don't want to be with a bunch of idiots. Trying to improve and show off their quirks"
"Your parents. Were they the water hoses by any chance?" Izuku asked "Did mandalay tell you?!" Kota responded. "No, we just had a conversation and I assumed that they were your parents. I remember what happened, it was tragic" Izuku replied. "Shut up. You're all idiots. Calling yourself heros and villain and killing eachother so that you can show off your quirks" Kota asked.
"It isn't just heros you dislike. You got a problem with quirks and super powered society as a whole. I Get that" Izuku said making Kota visibly confused. "I never got a quirk" Izuku continued "Both my parents has quirks, but I never got any. It's quite rare, but it does happen. I don't resent the quirked society, but I'm not quite fond of how it treats people like me, the powerless. Depite that I grew to admire heros beacuse of what they do. Of course you have heros like mr. flamey trashbag, but they save people as well. They also fight villains so that they can save more people. Thats my an idea of a hero and part of the reason I want to become one. I also want to become a hero so that I can help those without a voice, to show that nobody is helpless, anyone can become someones hero. If you keep pushing evrything away then you will end up getting yourself hurt"
Before Izuku could say anything else he was stopped by Kota "Shut up! You know nothing! Just go away!" He yelled. "Alright. I'll just leave the curry here in case you want it. Be careful though, it's a bit spicy" Izuku said and walked back to join the others. "They are all stupid" Kota said to himself as Izuku left before sitting back down.
The following day was very similar to the previous one. Wake up early, go through hell, keep going and then continue for a bit longer. It was especially worse for the ones who failed the practical exam plus Shinso. They needed extra lessons and Shinso had a lot of catching up to do. "Tonight the classes will be going against eachother in a test of courage" Pixie-Bob announced before they began making dinner. Bakugo and Izuku ended up having another cooking contes with equal intensity as the last one.
"Well then, you have had dinner and the dishes are cleaned" Pixi-Bob said "It's time for the test of courage!" Ashido exclaimed. "Sorry to dissapoint you, but you have have extra lessons with me now" Aizawa said and started dragging them away, except Shinso who didn't really seem to care. "NO WAY! GIVE US A BREAK!" Ashido yelled as she was dragged away.
"So class B will be on the offensive first. Class A will go into the forest in teams of two every three minutes. At the halfway point you will find cards with your names on them. Grab your name and then come back" Pixie-Bob explained. As class B prepeared themselves in the forest class A drew lots. Izuku then realised something. "We are 20 plus Shinso. Minus him and five ithers that makes 15 divided over 8 teams of two. That means, I'm alone" He said to himself. "We drew lots so it was inevitable that one of us would end up alone" Ojiro said, trying to calm Izuku down.
Shortly after group five entered the forest they noticed a part of the forest was on fire. And in the are were class B was they could see a purple fog covering the forest. "Whats that smoke?" Mandalay wondered. She quickly got her answer when two villains appeared and knocked out Pixie-Bob. Izuku quickly grabbed his equipment he had prepared for the test of courage. "Mandalay! I know where Kota is!" He yelled to her. She gave a small nod and he set off at full speed towards the cliff.
Izuku came in the nick of time. He managed to take Kota away just before he was punched by the villain. "You" The villain said "You were on the list. Boss wants you alive for some reason. Doesn't mean I can't have some fun with you first!" He said with a menacing smile and tore off his cloak. Once Izuku goot a proper look on the villains face he realised who it was. He recognised him as the villain that killed Kota's parents, Muscular.
Muscular expanded the muscles in his arms and charged at Izuku with impressive speed. Izuku narrowly dodged the blow and went behind Muscular to deliver a bloww to his head. "You're fast, but not very strong" Muscular taunted, not affected by the blow. He then increased the size of his muscles even further and charged towards Izuku at even greater speed. This time Izuku couldn't dodge the attack and had to block it with his shield. The force of the impact broke the shield and blew the pieces away. Muscular grabbed Izuku's arm with such force that it broke his bones and the exoskeleton, he then threw Izuku into the cliff side.
Muscular then felt a stream of water, coming from Kota, hitting him. "Did you toy with them too? Did you do this to them before you killed them?" Kota asked with a trembling voice. "Wait, I know who you are. You are the son of those heros who made me lose my eye!" Muscular said and slowly walked over to Kota. "I didn't have to kill them, but they forced me. I just wanted to kill some people, but they had to act as hero and try to save everyone" Muscular said and let out a small chuckle. "Relax, I will make it quick" He said with a malicious smile and got ready to kill.
Muscular stopped when he felt something hit him in the back. "Huh? You're alive?" He asked. His response was something hitting him across the face. The villain tried to grab Izuku again, but he moved so fast it was difficult to even know where he was. "Stay still!" Muscular yelled and tried to punch Izuku, but he only punched air. Izuku repeatedly attacked Muscular at blinding speeds, making the villain unable to react. "Maybe I can't hurt you, you most certainly can't hurt me with tho-" Muscular taunted, but stopped when he felt something digging into his muscles and let out a small grunt of pain. "What was that!?" He asked with anger "It won't work!" He yelled and continued to try and hit Izuku."I won't let you hurt him! I won't let you hurt anyone ever agan!" Izuku yelled and dug something into Muscular's muscles again.
They continued their fight for a bit more while Izuku kept digging small rods into Muscular's muscles. Eventually the villain decided to try a different strategy. "If I can't take you then I'll have to take someone else!" He yelled and lunged towards Kota. He then was pulled straight into the cliff side, unable to move. "What did you do!?" He yelled. "I attached tethers to your body" Izuku responded as he landed in front of the villain "They are relatively easy to cut in two, but quite difficult to pull apart. You won't be going anywhere for hours, but just to be sure" He said and pulled out his stun gun "Let's give you a little nap time" He said and sent electricity through Muscular, making him go unconcious.
Once the villain was unconcious Izuku almost stumbled over in exhaustion, having gone so far on mostly adrenaline. He then started feeling the pain in his broken and let out a yell of pain. Meanwhile Kota looked at him in amazement as his hero. "Let's get back to Mandalay shall we?"
