Izuku was in his house waiting for the teachers to arrive. They were going around to get the approval for moving the students into the newly build dorms. He knew from the various conversations he had had with Toshinori that he would be the one visiting them. Eventually there came a knock on the door and both Izuku and his parents opened the door and was greeted by Toshinori still wearing bandages. "P-please come in" Hisashi said and they began to walk into the apartment. "A-A-A-All Might is in our house" Inko and hisashi said as soon as they turned away from the former hero. "C-calm down you two" Izuku said.
As Toshinori walked into the apartment he noticed a door with Izuku's name on it was slightly open, so he decided to look inside. After Izuku had accepted his request to train him they have had several conversations and met eachother a few times at the beach. Toshinori had learned about how Izuku used to have his entire room covered in All Might merchandise until Toshinori had said no to him at the roof. However, Toshinori noticed a single All Might action figure with his silver age costume standing on Izuku's desk. Beside the action figure was a picture he and Izuku had taken a few days back. Izuku had made a set of odm-gear for Toshinori and was showing him how to use it so he could begin training one he recovered.
Another picture Toshinori recognised was a photo with him and Hisashi. 'I knew he looked familiar. He was that dad who wouldn't stop talking about how his son wanted to become a hero. But why are the edges burnt though?' Toshinori thought to himself as he noticed the burnt edges on the photo. He decided to ignore it and closed the door and continued walking.
Once they had all gotten seated Toshinori began talking about why he was there. "As you probably know UA wants to introduce a dormitory system for the protection of the students. And for this we need the approval of the parents or guardians" Toshinori explained. "Yes...and my answer is...no" Inko replied. "What!?" Hisashi and Izuku exclaimed. "But you said it was fine yesterday!" Izuku exclaimed. "I know, but I've been thinking. Ever since Izuku joined UA they have been constantly targeted by villains. And when Izuku was captured by them I became terrified for what they did to him. He may not talk about it much, but I can hear him during the night, when he has nightmares. I no longer feel my son is safe with your school. That is why I have to say no" Inko explained.
"No?" Hisashi asked with disbelief. "Now of all times you say no? After all this time supporting him and believing in his dream, you say no?" He said as smoke was startig to come out with each breath, showing that he was getting upset. "I have failed him once as a father and I can't do it again. I made a promise to Izuku that from now on I would support him, no matter what. I can't let you take his dream away" Hisashi stated. "You lost your right to decide when you left him!" Inko suddenly exclaimed and stood up. "I KNOW!" Hisashi yelled back and stood up as well, with fire coming out of his mouth. "I know I have no right, but I can't let his dream be broken again" He said as he calmed down and sat back down.
"As I said" Inko said and sat back down. "With the state the UA is in I can't as mother entrust my son to the school. I don't want my son to go to a school that keeps getting attacked by a villain" Inko said. "But Inko-" Hisashi tried to say, but was interupted when Izuku stood up and ran into his room. "IZUKU!" Inko screamed after him, but quickly got silent when he came back out. "It's fine dad. If mom thinks It's not safe at UA I will go to another school. Look" he said and held up a letter. "I recived this while I was in hospital. It's from a kid I saved at the training camp. He hated quirks, heros and villains, but he wrote to me just to say thank you. In that momen I felt like a hero. So it doesn't matter if I go to UA or any other hero school, because I'll become a hero no matter what" Izuku said.
"Izuku" Hisashi and Inko said and walked over to their son. They were about to say something when they all noticed Toshinori transforming into his buff form. He then went dow on his knees and put his forehead dow to the floor. "I understand why you say no mrs. Midoriya and you have good reason too. I have failed your son on several ocasions. When he looked to me for hope he found disappointment. When I tried to make things right I made them worse. I took his admiration, determination, dedication and potential for granted. As the former symbol of peace and as a teacher I want to apologize for how your son has been treated. Because he can become one of the greates heros to ever live. A symbol of hope. And on behalf of UA I promise you that we will do anything to make sure he is safe until he has reached his full potential. I will devote my life to him to make sure he becomes a symbol of hope!" He proclaimed passionately.
Inko fell on her knees. "Please don't do that" She said. "Don't give up your life. Despite what you may think, Izuku is very fond of you. And recently he has talked about you alot. Live and make sure he is safe. and that he can achive his dream. If you can do that I give you my consent" "You have my word!" Toshinori exclaimed. "And Izuku?" Inko asked. "Yes mom" Izuku said. "Stay safe" "I promise! You won''t regrett it!" Izuku proclaimed.
Shortly after Toshinori left while Izuku followed him outside. "You have good parents" Toshinori said. "Yeah" Izuku replied. "I met your father a long time ago. He wouldn't stop talking about how his son looked up to me and wanted to become a hero. And your mother reminds me of my mentor" Toshinori stated. "How so?" Izuku asked. "She has the same hair style. And she's strong" the former hero explained. "She can be. By the way, how is your arm doing?" Izuku asked an pointed towards Toshinori's broken arm. "It's healing. Can take of these bandages in a few days" he responded. "That's good to hear. Means we can begin with your equipment training very soon. Goodbye!" Izuku said and walked back into his apartment. "Goodbye young Midoriya" Toshinori said and started to head towards the next house.
a few weeks later it was time for Izuku to move into the dorms. "Remember to reply to our texts and call us every now and again" Inko said. "Yes mom" Izuku replied. "And remember to eat well" Hisashi said "I will. Don't worry" Izuku replied. "And Izuku" Inko called out before he went out the door. "We love you" she said. "Love you two" he said and left for UA.
When all the members of class 1-A had made their way to the UA dorms they were greeted by their teacher Aizawa. "I'm glad to see that you're all here" He said with his usual monotone voice. "I'm supposed to show you how the dorms opperate, but first" he said and suddenly became very serious. "Kirishima, Todoroki, Bakugo, Iida, Uraraka and Yaoyorozu" Aizawa called out, making the mentioned studens tense up. "You went on a mission by yourself in an attempt to rescue Midoriya. Not only was this stupid, but it could have put the entire operation in danger" He explained before releasing a sigh. "Luckily, none of you got involved and considering everything that happened I wont give out any punishment. But I won't tolerate another stunt like this and that goes for everyone who knew about it and didn't do anything as well" He announced in with a harsh tone. Everyone just gave a small nod of agreement. "With that out off the way it's time to show you the dorm" Aizawa said and walked into the dorm with the class.
After Aizawa had showed them the dorm and where their rooms were they used the rest of the day to furnish their rooms. Eventually the students started to gather in the common room and had casual conversations. Then the girls decided that they should have a room contest with Izuku's room first in line. Despite his protests the girls barged in anyways. On the bookshelf he had put the All Might action figure he had brought with him when he was diagnosed as quirkless. Beide it stood a relatively new Eraserhead figure. On his desk was a few family photos as well as a photo with him and Yagi and the photo with Hisashi and All Might. On the walls were several hero posters, primarily eraserhead posters. "I didn't take you for and eraserhead fan Midoriya" Mina said. "He sort of became my idol after it stopped being All Might" Izuku explained. "How did you get a photo with All Might?" Hagakure asked when she noticed said photo. "Ask him" Izuku simply replied.
The class then moved on to the rest of the boys' rooms with the exception of Mineta and Bakugo. The former they just skipped and the latter was asleep. Some of the rooms was suprising to say the least. Todoroki had renovated his entire room somehow with only hard work as he said himself. Shinso's room most certainly was a surprise once they got in. If Izuku could be called an Eraserhead fan Shinso would be a fanatic. Despite there hardly being made any merchandise of the underground hero Shinso had just as much Eraserhead merchandise as Izuku used to have All Might merchandise. "I may be a fan of him, but this is on a completely different scale" Izuku commented. Not mentioning that he used to be equally fanatic when it came to All Might. Meanwhile Todoroki had a thoughtful look on his face. 'Are they releated?' he thought to himself. "Are you finished? I'm tired and want some sleep" Shinso said as the students began on the girls' rooms. He stayed in his room and rolled up in a yellow sleeping bag on his bed, quickly falling asleep.
After all the rooms had been visited and the votes had been counted the winner ended up being Sato. He gained all the votes from the girls and it may or may not have been because he gave them cake. Shortly afterward Izuku got a text from Toshinori asking for his help. He was about to leave when Ochako stopped him. "Where are you going Izuku?" She asked. "Yagi said needed some help" He responded. "Yagi?" She asked before she realised who he was talking about "All Might? Why do you have his number?" "I-I explain to you later" Izuku said before quickly leaving. "Goodbye! Love you!" He said as he ran away.
When Izuku arrived at where Toshinori was supposed to be he didn't see him. "Up here Midoriya" He heard a voice say from above. Izuku looked up and saw what predicament Toshinori was in and it was quite funny. He had somehow gotten tangled up in a combination of branches and tethers. "How did you get stuck there?" Izuku asked while trying to hold back his laughter. "I was training with the odm-gear you provided when I crashed into a branch, tried to get out quickly and then tangled my self in whatever this is" Toshinori explained. "The symbol of peace beaten by a branch" Izuku said and let out a smal laughter. "Get me down" Toshinori said in a serious voice. "Sure, I just need to get my own equipment. I can't climb up these trees" Izuku replied and went back to the dorms.
While Toshinori was hanging in the tree Aizawa walked by while on a patrol. He just looked at Toshinori and then walked away. "Don't bother explaining to me now. I'm not paid enough and it's not my problem. But I want to know at a better time" He said as he walked away. Not long after Izuku came back with his own odm-gear and started untangling Toshinori. "I still have a lot to teach you when it comes to maneuvering. But for now just stay away from forests. Cities are a lot better for practice and a lot easier as well. I would recomend battle ground beta" Izuku explained as he finally got Toshinori free and he fell back on the ground with a thump. "Understood. Keep it simple" Toshinori said as he got back up. "There's still a bit of time until curfew. Let's go to ground beta and help you with your manuevering" Izuku said as the two made their way over to ground beta.
Izuku got back to the dorms a few minutes before curfew. When he entered the common room there were only a few people left. The rest had gone to their rooms. Izuku was quickly pulled aside by Ochako who wanted some answers. "What did you and All Might do? It's fine if you don't want to tell me" She said. "Don't worry, I can tell you. The rest of the class will figure it out anyways" Izuku responded and began explaining that he was training Toshinori as a quirkless hero. Ochako let out a small laughter when he mentioned Toshinori being stuck in a tree.
"And that's pretty much it" Izuku said as he finished his explenation. "That's kinda cool. First he doubts that you can become a quirkless hero and now you are training him into becoming one" Ochako said. "I guess it's a bit cool. Anyways, it's getting late and I'm tired after showing him how to turn properly in the air. Goodnight Ochako, love you" Izuku said "Love you too Izuku" she said and they gave eachother a small kiss. "Goodnight" They said to eachother and Izuku went to his room and quickly fell asleep.
