The legion of heroes
Chapter 1.
It was a typical day at Paris of course, Ladybug and Chat noir had just finished fighting yet another akuma that was terrorizing the streets of Paris. Chat noir had done most of the work and his lady had arrived a tad bit late but he didn't care as long as he got to see her. "Ladybug! Is it true that you took down the akuma with only a throw of your yo-yo!" a reporter asked "Was it that easy to defeat?!" "I bet you a million bucks it was as hard as heck but our lady pulled through" another commented "Three cheers for Ladybug" one suggested but obviously Chat noir was already a mile away from the crowd and he seething too, they always congratulated Ladybug and never him! He knew Ladybug was awesome and he edmited it but he never got any credit and was always considered as the "less-charming, less-talented side-kick of their beloved Lady" he was so sick of that title, so sick of it. Ladybug landed right next to him, "Hey kitty, why'd you leave so early I saw a really cute reporter who you would've totally had fun flirting with" she teased, Chat stood in place not facing her or the direction she was in "Chat what's the problem? You seem tense" Chat gritted his teeth, he really wanted to be angry at Ladybug but how could he possibly be angry at some one so... so... so angelic, caring, forgiving and brave "Chat you know you can tell me anything, right?" Ladybug asked, "Ladybug who am I to you?" Chat asked "well you're my partner and one of my close and personal friends" Ladybug answered, "Do you think of me as a side-kick?" "What! What brought this on?" Ladybug asked "Answer the question Ladybug" Chat said sternly anxiously waiting for the reply, "Chat you know you're my partner,friend and my equal we're ying and yang, luck and disaster why would I possibly consider you as my side-kick?" Ladybug asked, Chat noir's blood boiled, "Liar! You're just saying that, I am of no use to you whatsoever and we both know it"Chat sneered "Chat tha-" "No! Don't cut me off Ladybug I know you put with my pitiful exsistance long enough I'll leave you be" "But-" "Just... stop Ladybug I... I need some space" Chat said and with that he was gone with the wind and he didn't notice but a dark figure was watching from a far and was wickedly smiling, "Yes, excellent"
In the kingdom of Corona everyone was happy and cheerful and full of joy and laughter, everyone except a prisoner named Varian. Varian sat alone in his cell as he drew on the dirt with a stick, he was trapped and confined for two years now and it was as if everyone had forgotten him, Princess Rapunzel despite her promise to him a while ago about making sure he would get out never fulfilled it but instead as soon as she got home after her "magical" adventure was already set to get married and her wedding was in two days. He should have lost all hope years ago since to him the princess was a self-centered, self-caring and lying little brat. He hated being trapped in this prison and wanted out, who knows maybe if he hadn't been wrongly imprisoned then maybe by now his father might have already been free but no there just had to be laws forbidding him from doing as he chose. Varian slumped down against the brick walls and buried his head deep in his knees ready to fall asleep again custom to his never ending routine when he heard a click and footsteps in the hallway, huh? What was happening no one ever walked down this hallway of the dungeons this was where all the most "dangerous" criminals stayed. He heard the volume of the footsteps increase and that's when he saw a looming shadow in front of him, he looked and there he stared into the eyes of the person who was to blame for all of this Princess Rapunzel, he almost threw up having to say that name. They stared at each other for what seemed like hours and that's when Rapunzel finally spoke, "Hello Varian, It's nice to see you again" "Shut the crap up!" Varian replied "Excuse me?!" Princess Rapunzel asked in confusion, "What have you come here to do huh gloat. Is that it gloat about all the money you have, all the friends, the perfect fiancé, your freedom!" Varian said stating more than asking, "Varian listen I came to accept your apology:" Rapunzel said shocked that Varian could have such a spiteful side "What?" Varian asked not sure if it was because he didn't hear properly or the fact that he couldn't believe what he did hear "Your apology, I know things haven't been quite nice for you but in all honesty you're the one who tried to kill my mom, friends and me as well! I think a well-deserved sorry is in order" Rapunzel stated "You're right Princess my apologies I am so sorry" Varian started and Rapunzel for a second thought he was being sincere "That I ever respected, trusted and helped you in any way!. You're heartless, conceded, manipulative and such a lying brat! I hate you with all my mind, soul and body and will likely laugh the day you die, I have no belief in you whatsoever and you make me just so damn angry that I'd rather be incased in black rock than ever apologize to you any day of the year" Varian fumed Man was he angry, "Varian-" "No Princess do not cut me off! I waited two years for your promise, TWO FREAKIN' YEARS! And when you do actually get back you ask for an apology, well guess what "Princess" I have hated you, I do hate you and I will always hate you till my dying day! I don't care if you "feel sorry for me" and all that crap your probably just doing this for publicity I bet the headlines will be "CROWN PRINCESS FREES POOR TRAUMATIZED 16 YEAR OLD BOY OUT OF PRISON" I warn you and I warn you only once get out of my cell right now before I do something you'll really regret" "You can't threaten me" Rapunzel said with a bit of fear in her voice "Maybe seeing as you get to see most of the light of day whereas I only see it twice but I do have the right to territory and privacy so I suggest you leave right now" Varian growled "You brought this upon yourself Varian I was going to let you go but-" "SAVE IT AND GET OUT!" Varian shouted, Rapunzel took a step back and finally locked his cell and left the hallway. Varian sighed and once again slumped on the grey brick wall siting in the corner of his cell Pssh apologize like that was ever going to happen.
