Chapter 2.
Darkness, cold and snow. Those were the definitions of many used to describe Arandelle. Ever since the death of their beloved king and queen and Princess Elsa's total meltdown Arandelle had become an every day winter. Sounds crazy but when you had a heir to the throne also be some one who controls ice then it'll be a normal coincidence. Princess Anna second daughter to the royal family and younger sister to Princess Elsa walked through the corridor pacing back and forth debating in her head whether or not to go in and talk to her sister as her hand went back and forth on the door without knocking it still undecided on her choice. Hey you can't blame her she hadn't seen her sister in almost ten years so you could guess she had mixed feelings about all of this and just when she come to the conclusion of knocking the door flew open, "Elsa! I.. uh well it's a suprise seeing you behind this room I thought this was the bathroom!" Anna nervously lied, Elsa eyed her suspiciously "But since you're here I'd like to talk" "About what?" Elsa asked curiously "Well you know about the royal wedding in Corona which is in two days but whose counting he he" Anna said laughing nervously "You point is?" "Um..uh well maybe you might re consider going with me" Anna offered "No thank you, I'm in content with my current position" Elsa replied firmly and calmly, "But-" "No buts Anna is there anything else I can help you with?" Elsa asked, Anna hesitated "Good then-" "Stop!" Anna shouted Elsa slowly turned towards Anna "I.. I.. I am so sick of your behaviour!" Anna huffed clearly mad "What?" Elsa asked shocked "You have never been there for me ever! Always locked up in your little world in that chamber for ten years! TEN STUPID YEARS! And when Mom and Dad died you refuse to even comfort me and start sending snow storms just because you can't even control your own emotions!" "Anna it doesn't work like that" "Really it doesn't! It might but then again I know nothing you refuse to tell me anything about it so I wouldn't know! You allianate me and treat me like I'm not worth your time well guess what if you can't treat me like a sister then maybe we weren't meant to be sister's" Anna hissed somehow making Elsa wince "I will go to the wedding alone and after I return I will leave the castle for good since you clearly don't need me here" Anna stated and she swore she saw some sadness in her sister's eyes but she left so suddenly that she almost didn't care.
It was dark and the dead of night in Transylvania for all the people there and most were asleep. It was 12 o'clock midnight and some might call this the monster hour which in essence it was for the many monster now awake at Hotel Transylvania. Mavis was skating through the halls with her best friend Hank the son of Frankenstein while trying not to bump into people but obviously failing, "Hey watch it" "Look where you're going" "Hey! I just got this pelvis in" a rather old and angry skeleton and a few other monsters complained "Sorry" "Pardon me" "Loving the new pelvis Mr.B" was all she could say to account for her clumsiness "Hey Hank where are the guys?" Mavis asked Hank "Well they had some issues concerning "tea parties and wrong cocktail flavors" or something like that" "Well more fun for us then, woo-ho!" Mavis shouted as she knocked into three witches, almost ran over a giant and spooked two visiting mummies "Whoa that was a close one Mavis" Hank said worriedly "don't you think we should stop he he" "Relax Hank nothing is going to happen" Mavis reassured and that's when the unexpected happened her Dad who was also the infamous Dracula walked in with a solid stone statue and Mavis collided with it sending her and her dad flying across the room and the statue ending up on the dirty ground shattered in pieces, "MAVISSSSS!" "Oh snap" Mr. Bones said and snapped his fingers.
About a half an hour later Mavis was in her Dad's office hearing earful about how irresponsible she was while making puppet hands that mimicked his dad's words, "Do you have any idea what you've done!" Dracula said setting himself on fire "That statue was of the 2000 year old great aunt Himelda! And her ashes were found inside the statue! It was a priceless family heirloom and you broke it!" Dracula huffed and pointed an accusing finger at Mavis "Relax dad and stop having a hissy fit" Mavis teased his dad, "I am not having a hissy fit! I'm just… really upset about crazy behavior young lady what brought this on" Dracula asked looming over his daughter "This wouldn't have happened if you had just let me go out and meet the humans I mean I'm 115 years old I can take care of myself" Mavis argued "Uuugh! Again with the human talk baby you know I don't trust them at all" "Yeah but just because you refuse to swallow you pride doesn't mean I can't enjoy myself!" "What! 1)I am not that kind of guy who refuses to swallow his pride and 2)I'm just trying to protect you Humans are evil and not trustworthy like us monsters, so that's the end of the discussion" Dracula stated "You know what Dad! I am done listening to you as if I'm a slave I want to explore the world and you can't stop me, I will make it out one day and show that humans aren't all bad you wait!" Mavis said and stormed out mumbling something under her breath.
Little did they all know that there was something dangerous coming and coming soon.
