Streets of New York

(Skipper's POV)

We slid unnoticed through the crowds of panicking New Yorkers as the wall of Digi-zombies approached. The Digi-zombies were running around in a massive wave causing chaos and destruction. All the damage on the buildings, the streets, and vehicles were visible as glitching static-y blobs of pixels. Fires were everywhere with some contrasting patches of pixels in them. A building collapsed into glitchy piles of pixels as Digi-zombies attacked it. People were running away in a panic as the city descended into pixelated chaos. The Sky was a chaotic glitchy mess with random color splotches scattered in weird clumps of pixels. The whole world seemed to be glitching as reality itself struggled to make sense of all this weirdness. Suddenly all of New York seemed to scream when the sky flashed a terrifying red as massive cracks appeared in the fabric of reality. Everything now had a red hue even the sun as the cracks in reality were mirrored on the buildings.

"Reality is starting to crack," Kowalski said, "it only a matter of time before it crashes."

"What happens when it crashes," Private said.

"We won't feel it," Kowalski said, "we're just cease to exist…deleted."

"What does being deleted feel like," Private said.

"Being ripped to nothingness…our thoughts just…ended," Kowalski said.

"Well let's make sure we never find out," I said.

"That can't be good," the Chuck Charles Clones chanted, "that can't be good."

The Bonnie Chang Clones were chanting as well, "Come on Pick up."

"Hey! I'm walking here!" Clones of a New York businessman said.

"I'm late! I'm Late! I'm late," clones of another businessman said.

"Wait shouldn't The Doctor have noticed?" Private said.

"Yes," Kowalski said pointing to a glitching TARDIS slowly floating by.

"Shouldn't it be spinning?" I asked.

"Yes," Kowalski said as the Time Ship soundlessly and motionlessly floated through the Sky.

"Scanning for insecurities," Netpocalypse doomed as Police Officers fired uselessly at him.

Netpocalypse attacked flinging officers aside and reducing the police cruisers into useless glitching pixels. Gun continue to fire but to no avail the bullets poofing out of existence in clouds of pixels. An army of clones of the Eel-like computer virus descended trapping officers in glitching pockets of reality. Their glitching repeating screams filling the air.

"Kowalski is the EMP cannon ready?" I said.

"Turning off attachment mode," Kowalski said, "removing NCA…activating electro-magnets…digital creature mode active. Charging weapon."

Rico fired a steady stream of fire from his flame-thrower, but it just phased right through the viruses and the Digi-zombies with no effect. The entire digital army laughed with electronic crackling. Netpocalypse laughed then blasted us back with a blast of electricity. The Blast charged the EMP in two seconds, melted Rico's flame-thrower, and blasted a crater into the street. Any remaining emergency vehicle in the blast zone was instantly vaporized. The terrifying unnatural silence that followed seemed to make everything worst.

"Kowalski?" I said as the army approached in an unstoppable wave.

Reality was now shaking as the cracks got bigger, "get down!" Kowalski shouted.

Kowalski fired a white beam that covered the approaching army. There were loud electronic screams as they were destroyed. Netpocalypse stopped briefly with his red eye widening in fear. Netpocalypse let out a loud electronic roar and the smaller viruses surged forward.

Kowalski fired again a massive shock-wave of magnetic energy barreling into the viruses. Some of them disappeared into clouds of electronic fog while others were reduced to piles of glitching pixels. But the majority were knocked back with Netpocalypse being pushed back a few feet. While the viruses recovered, we rushed into the Empire State Building.

"We need to get up to the spire," Kowalski said.

"How?" Private said.

"We take the elevator up to the observation deck," Kowalski said, "then make our way to the staff access to the roof…then we'll climb our way to the spire."

"Then what?" I said.

"I attach this radio device to it," Kowalski said, "then play a message no Cyber-army could resist."

"It is imperative that we keep the Dalekanium plates are intact though," Kowalski added.

Netpocalypse's Terrible Eye filled the doors of the building it's hateful gaze on us.

"I think it's time we move," I said as we started moving towards the elevator.

Shortly…

Empire State Building Observation deck roof

We were on the roof of the empire state building the Spire towering above us. The wind was horrible intensified by the widening cracks in reality. Rico hacked up climbing supplies and we began the climb to the spire itself. Kowalski held out his radio device and we climbed up to the building's summit. We made it to the spire and Kowalski attached the device to it.

"Um…" Private said looking down, "we have company…"

"Hey! I'm walking here…"

"That can't be good"

"Pick up mom"

"I'm late!"

We looked down to see the army of Digi-zombies were climbing up the sides of the building. The Building started to shake and glitch as they climbed. Netpocalypse was being raised up on a growing platform made of Digi-zombies. The other smaller viruses were slithering up the sides of the nearby buildings.

"Kowalski play that message," I said as the army rapidly climb up to our position.

Kowalski hit a button on the device and, "All Dalek units…The Doctor is trapped in a reality anomaly in New York…The Planet is ripe for invasion and it's lifeforms for EXTERMINATION! Starting with New York City! VICTORY IS ASSURED. ALL HAIL THE DALEKS!"

We all glared at him, "oops wrong fake message."

Kowalski hit another button and a cyber-voice rang out, "Attention all Cyber-daleks Earth is ripe for upgrade…their military voices are weakened by reality glitches. A sentient computer virus named Netpocalypse is threatening Cyber-assets on earth. Integration into cyber-systems is recommended. IF it can not be integration…DELETION IS REQUIRED."

"And that's that," Kowalski said.

"How long until they get here?" Private said.

"Too long," I said firing my digital flamethrower blasting Digi-zombies off the building.

"There's too many of them," Kowalski said as they arrived at our position blocking our escape routes.

"Escape options?" I said as the Digi-zombies started to close in relentlessly.

"What Else?" Kowalski said hitting a button on The Space-Time Teleport as the enemy reached us.

We were gone in a flash confusing the Digi-zombies and Netpocalypse roared in rage as an army of Cyber-Daleks transmitted into the city. We teleported to the street while Netpocalypse's digital army looked around in confusion. Two Cyber-daleks hovered up to the spire and blasted any Digi-zombie or Virus.

"Source of Message detected on this Spire," one of the Cyber-daleks said.

"This is not Cyber-technology," the other Cyber-dalek said.

"This was a trick."

"Irrelevant…Scanning for Netpocalypse."

"Computer Virus Code detected…Attempt integration?"

"Our Systems can not be infected by a virus…Delete!"

Suddenly a Dalek Ship descended from the now fracturing Sky. A couple thousand Daleks streamed out as the ship left to land somewhere. The Cyber-daleks quickly cloaked themselves before the daleks could notice. The two Cyber-daleks by the spire hid as the Daleks hovered past.

"Reality anomaly detected," The Daleks said, "THE TARDIS CAN NOT ESCAPE! The Doc-tor is powerless…Signal the invasion fleet! Begin the Conquest of Earth!"

"All Cyber-Units…complete deletion of Netpocalypse! We must…"

"DIE!" Netpocalypse screamed as he blasted the two Cyber-daleks.

"Cyber-daleks detected! Alert High command…Send in Special Weapon Daleks! Unknown hostiles in Human city designated: New York."

A bunch of Special Weapons Daleks appeared as the sky filled with Dalek ships. All around the world daleks ships descended massive task-forces of daleks streaming out of them. Soon the glitching skies were filled with Daleks, patrol ships, and massive Dalek Saucers. The World quickly deployed their forces and soon the battle began. A massive battle between Daleks and Earth was about to start. The Daleks will overwhelm the earth with their screams of exterminate and their infamous death beams. That is…if reality doesn't end first. The glitches were getting worst and even the Daleks were affected. Everything stopped and the sky and everything in it descended into glitchy jumbled pixels. The Daleks on the ground were also affected stuck in immobile patches of pixels. The human soldiers weren't doing any better most them stuck as frozen pixels…like a buffering video on YouTube.

"Options?" I said.

"Run!" Kowalski said as an army of Cyber-daleks approached us.

We ran only to run into Netpocalypse and his army, "Scanning for insecurities…you will fail…the dawn of The Internet is now."

"You idiot!" Kowalski said, "you will destroy this world…and all others!"

"This world will belong to digital lifeforms!" Netpocalypse said, "this will be my domination…and I will rule all!"

"EX-x-x-x-x-ter-ter-term-term-term-m-m-m-i-nate-nate-nate! Ex…ex…ex…ex…ex…ex…nate…ter…min! Min-ex-term-nate. Term-nate-ex-min. Tor-Doc. Nate…ex…term…min…ate…nat…. EGGs…. stir…Error! ERROR! EROR! IOIOIOIOIOIOIOIO!" the Daleks screamed as reality continued to fail.

The Citizens of New York were speaking in a similar jumbled up language and had been reduced to blobs of color or weird geometric shapes. Oddly somehow no animal seemed effected including us though some seemed to have lost their colors. The Cracks in reality got bigger the red sky almost white now. Time energy spilled out and several buildings and "people" (if you can call them that anymore) faded from existence.

"You fool!" Kowalski shouted, "look around you! reality is collapsing around us! In a few moments' reality will end and nothing will survive! Not even you."

"I will survive," Netpocalypse said, "and I will be Earth's supreme leader…I am Netpocalypse…I AM THE FUTURE!"

"All Hail THE FUTURE!" all the Digi-zombies and Viruses chanted.

"You will be a ruler of nothing!" I shouted.

"Lies! The True Digital Age begins!"

"Scanning for insecurities," one of the smaller viruses said.

"YOU WILL BE DELETED!" a Cyber-dalek screamed as the cyber-army fired their weapons.

"You dare?" Netpocalypse said charging an electrical attack, "YOUR EXISTANCE IS FINISHED!"

"Get down!" Kowalski shouted as everything exploded.
