Totsuki Academy 92nd Generation Graduation

/ This story starts off a week before the graduation ceremony of Souma's batch /

Souma and Erina are walking towards the Don RS.

"I wonder what new dish Nikumi has planned." Says Souma.

"Wha... oh yeah new dish yeah Ikumi called us right exactly." Blurts out Erina.

They reach the door of Don RS as Erina recalls what happened last night…..

|Flashback to the previous night|

The girls of Polar Star have all gathered for a sleepover in Ryoko's room. Ikumi, Erina, Hisako and Alice are also present. They are all sitting around chatting and having fun when suddenly Ryoko gets up.

"Everyone! You know why we're here tonight right? We are here to help Erinachhi in her romantic affairs" declares Ryoko

"Wait what? What the hell are you talking about? I wasn't told that you guys were planning something like this! Hisako did you know!" bellows Erina in anger

"um.. yes I knew about this Erina-sama but they forbade me from telling you. I'm sorry" says Hisako in a very low voice.

"Calm down Erinachhi" says Yuki while patting Erina's shoulder with a big smile on her face.

"We all know that you have feelings for Souma kun and that he has feelings for you but you both refuse to take the initiative and with Souma kun going abroad after a week, this is the last chance you'll get or else you'll have to wait 5 years!" says Ikumi with sincere concern.

"I agree Erinachhi you have to do something!" Exclaims Megumi

"well…I….." whispers Erina blushing

"yeah I have feelings for that fool but don't you think he should take the initiative he's the man after all if he doesn't want to confess then I won't either!" snaps Erina angrily and immediately after she turns red.

"Erinachhi don't be like that. We'll help you I have a plan. Come to the Don RS tomorrow. I'll make it so that you and Souma are alone and then you can confess your love and you have to do it no excuses." replies Ikumi.

"please please please please please" beg all the girls in unison.

Finally, Erina gives in "Fine, I'll do it!"

"yaayyyyy cheers to the to be couple" shouts Yuki.

|Back to present|

Erina and Souma walk in together. Ikumi welcomes them and tells them to have a seat. They both sit down and suddenly Ikumi's phone rings. Ikumi tells them it is an urgent call she has to take and she'll be outside.

Erina and Souma are left alone in the Don RS. There is an awkward silence with them both stealing glances at each other but not facing eye to eye. Souma breaks the silence by telling Erina that there is a new dish that he wants her to test for him. Erina agrees without the slightest hesitation. Souma is surprised, he says "you know it's one of my squid dishes right? You're willing to try it?"

"I'm willing to do anything for you Yukihira Souma, I want to be the one to taste all your dishes from this day until the end of our days" declared Erina, immediately turning red and trying to hide her face. Souma is taken by surprise and he too gets a little shy. They both remain quiet for a few seconds but Erina recovers and exclaims "you idiot! This is the part where you say that you love me too."

Souma regains his composure and affectionately utters the words "Nakiri Erina I too want you to be mine forever. I want you to be the reason for my cooking."

Suddenly, from behind the counter, Alice pops out and giggles saying "Souma kun you look like a middle school girl from a shoujo manga confessing to her senpai hahahahaha"
"Alice! What are you doing here! Get out of here this very instant" yells Erina.

Erina remembers she has a meeting and she tells Souma that they'll continue this some other time.

The next week passes in haste because there are so many preparations to be done for the graduation ceremony. Even Souma works responsibly along with the elite ten to prepare for the ceremony.

|The night before graduation|

Erina has come over to Polar Star to meet Souma. They are both in the balcony.

"Erinachhi, I-"

"Don't you ever call me by that name again Souma"

"Alright then what should I call you"

[blushing]"you can call me darling"

" Whaaa no way that's so cheesy sheesh"

"really! yeah you're right, just call me erina"

"Ok now that that's settled, Erina I wanted to tell you something. Saiba said to me once that they key to becoming a good chef is finding someone you want to dedicate your food to. I thought about that a lot and at first I believed that person was my mom but as I thought about it more I came to realize that my motivation had shifted from my mom to someone else and that someone is none other than you Erina."

"Souma I never knew you could be so romantic"

"hahaha well that's another thing I learned from my dad"

"So, the day's finally here huh. This journey of three years has finally come to an end!"

"yeah it really is the end! It was so much fun here at Tostsuki we all became a family. Us at the Polar Star, Ikumi, Alice, Ryo, Hayama, the Aldinis and so many more. It feels so weird that we're going to be separated but I guess that is what you call life. You experience something and before you know it you have to move on to the next. You keep on moving forward trying new things and meeting new people." *Souma has tears in his eyes*

"Are you crying Souma" says Erina while holding back a sob herself "I'm going to miss everyone so much but I'm going to miss you the most Souma. Make sure you make your trip worth it and try to reach my level though that isn't possible for you"

"I sure will. I will defeat you and only then will I propose to you"

"Love Birds! Its time to go to sleep. Bye bye Erina san you may be director but here at Polar Star my word is absolute" declares Fumio.

"alright I'm going fumio san! Bye souma make sure to get up early tomorrow"

"Bye Erina"
