Another day of regularity for Priya, but little did she not know that fate has something planned for her that was going to change her life forever. While returning back home from college she stopped her car at Starbucks to get her favorite drink and saw this cute guy but didn't know his name but that did not stop her from smiling at him and mentally went on a date with him but time was up as her coffee got ready and sadly she had to leave, she sighed and left the store. As she entered the gym and to her surprise the cute guy was sitting with his friend on the bench and she thought what were the chances. As he saw her walk towards them to keep her things on the bench his eyes went towards the drink in her hand and couldn't stop himself from thinking why is she having a drink with that many calories and that too in a gym, though she noticed him looking at the drink and smiled and said "i'm fasting by the way i'm Priya and you are ?" to which he smiled back and said he was Karan. she smiled. Time is very funny thing where it loves to leave things incomplete although Karan had a little sadness that Priya noticed but she knew there was hope for them to meet again.
After the session, while returning back home Priya couldn't stop herself from thinking about Karan, suddenly her phone rung it was notification from facebook and to her surprise he had sent her a friend request, she smiled and drove happily listening to her favorite songs. Upon reaching home the first thing she did was accept the request but she did not know she had just unfolded a series of drama. It was around 10 when they had begun texting and for all she knew her head was spinning from the fastness but it did not stop there Karan asked her out like a date but didn't actually term it as one. Time flew so fast that both didn't realize they have been texting all night and went to sleep at dawn. In the evening like usual Priya got ready for gym and informed her mom she would be late and left but instead of going to gym she went to this small cafe and waited for him in the car, after 10 minutes he came, whew finally she thought. She hated waiting and doesn't let anyone to wait for her but clearly Prince Charming didn't follow any principles. Thinking that they were going to go inside the cafe she got down from the car and stood on the road but Karan had other plans and told her they were going someplace else which was special, curious to find out she started the car and exited the street and asked him where she should go and for now all he said to her was to go near the Chennai airport. She started to drive at a fairly good speed eager to find out about this place, silent as the night they both hardly made any conversation and drifted off into their own worlds, while some crappy music playing in the background. After reaching the airport he asked Priya to get down so that he could drive, she hated giving her car to anyone but that day she made an exception for him.
After another 10 minutes on the highway, he told her to close her eyes and not to peek, he drove around the mountain behind the airport. He had found the perfect spot to park the car and helped her out and made her stand in front of the car and told her to open her eyes, Priya gasped at the sight before her, never has she seen Chennai so beautiful, a perfect evening. As the sun was setting down Karan held her hands as they both were admiring the sky, smiling into each others soul.
Time plays again as she woke up from the sound of her alarm. Yes that was it, a dream. A beautiful memory that doesn't exist in reality.
