the countdown to the start of the Cornucopia was fading fast as Applejack stood ready. As soon the pistol sounded, Sunset and another Tribute shot off into the woods. Applejack grabbed everything she could from the outside. One of the killer tributes threw a knife at her. Applejack protected herself with her bag. Applejack had earned herself a knife. Applejack ran into the forest, crashing into a purple-haired tribute. One look at her face and she ran off.
Applejack slid down a hill, seeing Sunset Shimmer with the killers. Applejack bumped into a pink-haired girl.
"Ooh, Applejack," she said. "Cut the beehive and drop it on them. I'm Fluttershy."
The hive landed on the blue-haired guy below, Flash Sentry. Sunset looked up to see Applejack and smiled weakly.
Whilst off hunting for food, Applejack heard a scream. "Fluttershy!" she yelled.
"Applejack..." she said weakly. "don't forget me..."
Applejack glared at Fluttershy's killer. Applejack wrapped her lasso around her neck and tightened it.
I am a murderer. thought Applejack.
it was only Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Applejack and Sunset left. Pinkie held Sunset Captive by having her arm wrapped around her neck.
Applejack aimed her arrow at Pinkie's hand and Pinkie immediately let go. Applejack shot again, this time at her heart.
Sunset started to gather poisonous berries, Rarity following, eating them, not knowing. When Rarity ate too many, she collapsed, keeled over and was still.
Applejack slipped the berries into her pocket. It would be useful for Twilight, she thought.
There was a growl behind them. "RUN!" cried Sunset as dogs appeared out of nowhere. The 2 friends climbed onto a metal safe place and Applejack, using all the strength she could muster, threw Twilight down to the dogs.
They had won. Not really. Only one of them could win, but their friendship was strong. Only one thing for it. Either they both die or they win together.
Sunset smiled at her friend. "Ready?" she asked.
"Ready," said Applejack. "3, 2, 1-"
"The winners of the Friendship Games are Applejack Apple and Sunset Shimmer!"
Applejack wiped her forehead. "Phew, I thought I would die, then, Sunset!"
"Me too," said Sunset, hugging her friend.
