PUPS SAVE THE SMITH FAMILY
I DON'T OWN PAW PATROL ONLY MY OC'S
It was a clear sunny Saturday morning. At the campsite near the woodland area Melissa & the Smiths woke up & got a fire started. They were still trying to find a house that they could reside in.
"It looks like we'll be having nice weather again today. Adventure Bay really is a wonderful place" said Keisha in a cheerful voice.
"I've been happier here than back home with Kenny. That man is a monster who doesn't deserve to be called my father" said Kenneth with a sigh.
"Do you guys think he's trying to find us?" asked Melissa in a curious tone.
"He probably is. If he thinks we'll come back to him he's only deluding himself" said Keisha as she cooked breakfast over the fire.
"I'll beat him to a pulp if he comes near us. That man is nothing but trouble" said Kenneth in a blunt manner.
"Amen to that. If we're lucky we'll never have to see that jerk again" said Melissa as everyone sat around the fire ready to eat. Suddenly Keisha fell unconscious catching the kids off guard.
"What just happened?" asked Kendall in shock.
"I don't know. I hope mum's OK" said Kennedy as she & the others checked on Keisha. To their horror they saw a tranquilizer dart in her neck.
"Someone shot her" said Kendall with a nervous gulp.
"I think we should get help" said Kennedy as Kenneth was hit with another dart rendering him unconscious. Kendall & Kennedy also got hit with tranquilizer darts causing them to also fall unconscious. Melissa ran off desperate to get help. The person responsible for shooting the darts was an African American man with blonde hair & blue eyes wearing an army uniform. It was the Smith family patriarch Kenny.
"Finally I've got my family back. I'll teach them to run away from me" said Kenny as he dragged his family away. Melissa ran all the way to the Lookout where she found the PAW Patrol & their friends playing together.
"Guys I need help. Someone shot the Smith family with tranquilizer darts" said Melissa in a panicked voice.
"Did you see who shot them?" asked Colby.
"No. I didn't see anyone else up at the campsite. What do we do?" asked Melissa in a fearful tone.
"This calls for drastic action. Whoever shot the Smiths has sinister intentions" said Constance.
"No job is too big & no pup is too small" said Ryder as he used the Pup Pad to summon the pups.
"PAW Patrol to the Lookout" said Ryder.
"Ryder needs us" said the pups as they ran to the elevator. Marshall tripped on an army soldier figurine causing a pileup.
"Sorry about that. I hope I don't get discharged for this" said Marshall with a sheepish smile. Everyone laughed as the elevator rose to the observatory. The pups put their pup packs & uniforms on before reaching the observatory where they lined up to await further instruction. Everyone else stood to the side.
"PAW Patrol ready for action Ryder sir" said Chase in an authoritative manner.
"Thanks for coming everyone. The Smiths have been shot with tranquilizer darts by an unknown assailant. We need to find the culprit & make sure the Smiths are OK" said Ryder as he clicked Angel's icon.
"Angel I need you to apprehend the culprit as soon as we find them" said Ryder.
"I'm ready to protect & serve" said Angel with a confident smile. Ryder then clicked Chase's icon.
"Chase I need you to use your spy equipment to help find the Smiths & whoever attacked them" said Ryder.
"Spy Chase is on the case" said Chase with a grin. Ryder then clicked Marshall's icon.
"Marshall I need you to stand by with your medical gear in case the Smiths get hurt" said Ryder.
"I'm fired up" said Marshall in enthusiasm. Ryder then clicked Skye's icon.
"Skye I need you to look around from above to see if you can spot the Smiths" said Ryder.
"Let's take to the sky" said Skye as she did a backflip.
"The rest of you can help in the search. It's important we find the Smiths ASAP" said Ryder.
"You can count on us Ryder" said Elias in a reassuring voice.
"Whoever it is responsible for the situation at hand will receive swift justice" said Kelly in a blunt tone.
"PAW Patrol is on a roll" said Ryder as he slid down the fireman pole to get to his ATV. The pups zipped down the slide with Cinnamon, Colby, Constance, Elias, Kelly, Melissa & Ronald sharing a ride with the pups. They then headed out in search of the Smiths. Back in the wooded area Kenny had taken his family to a rundown building once used as a storage area that had long been disused. Once inside Kenny tied his family to chairs. It was at that point they regained consciousness.
"Excellent. You're all awake. Isn't it wonderful how we're all back together again?" asked Kenny in a devious manner.
"How did you even find us? There's no way you could've known where we were" said Keisha as she tried in vain to escape from her bonds.
"Did you really think I couldn't find you? I tracked your location thanks to cell phone & financial records. That's what happens when you don't turn your devices off. You also didn't help yourselves by withdrawing cash during your journey here. You've all been very naughty" said Kenny with a taunting smirk.
"We don't want you in our lives anymore. You're a terrible person with no compassion or love for anyone else" said Kendall in disgust.
"You & your sister were a mistake. I don't regret giving you up at birth. You never should've been brought back" said Kenny in a hateful voice.
"That's 1 of the worst things you've ever done. Unlike you Kenneth & mum actually have hearts. After we get out of here you'll go to jail & we'll never have to see you ever again" said Kennedy.
"You 4 aren't going anywhere. I'm in control here not you. I'm going to teach you all a lesson about abandoning your superiors" said Kenny as he grinned deviously.
"What did you do with Melissa? You better tell us where she is" said Kenneth as he noticed Melissa was absent.
"She got away. That's enough with the conversations. School is now in session" said Kenny as he gagged his family so that they couldn't cry or scream for help. He then began torturing them with various items. They were beaten, bruised, burned, cut, electrocuted, jabbed, slashed & whipped. Their muffled cries & screams did nothing to help as Kenny inflicted as much non lethal pain on them as possible. He enjoyed every moment of it. Meanwhile the PAW Patrol & their friends arrived at the campsite where the Smiths were last seen. Chase launched his drone & sent it flying around hoping to find the Smiths somewhere in the dense woodland area while Skye flew overhead trying to spot the Smiths from above. Everyone else waited to see if any results would come from the search.
"Where could the Smiths have gone? They wouldn't have left of their own accord based on what Melissa told us" said Cinnamon as she tilted her head in confusion.
"Whoever shot them must've taken them somewhere. I think it is strange how there's no tracks to follow. If there were we'd have an easier time finding where they went" said Ronald with a sigh.
"My drone is picking up heat signals on the ground. That must mean the Smiths & their captor are down this way" said Chase as he tracked the heat signals left on the ground.
"At the moment I don't see anyone from above. It's a bit hard to see through the trees from up here" said Skye as she looked all around for any sign of the Smiths.
"They couldn't have gone too far. I'd assume they're still somewhere in the woodland area due to the lack of any vehicular means of transport up this way. There's no doubt in my mind we're close to finding them" said Ryder with a confident smile. It didn't take long for Chase's drone to find the abandoned storage building. The heat signals on the ground led inside confirming that the Smiths & their captor were there.
"I've got something. It looks like the Smiths might be in this building" said Chase in a confident tone.
"I can see it from above. It's only a short distance away from you guys" said Skye as she spotted the storage building from above.
"Excellent. Let's go free the Smiths & deal with whoever captured them" said Ryder as everyone headed to the storage building. Once they reached it they went inside & found the Smiths still being tortured by Kenny.
"Back off from them punk. It's over" said Angel as she shot Kenny with her taser. Kenny cried out in agony as he dropped to the ground writhing. Keisha, Kendall, Kennedy & Kenneth were freed from their bonds & checked on by Marshall. Luckily their injuries weren't life threatening & only required bandages, ice packs & medicine to prevent serious infection. Kenny was then handcuffed & placed under arrest.
"You might think you've won the battle but you haven't won the war. This isn't the last you've seen of me" said Kenny with an angry growl.
"Think again scumbag. You're never coming near us again" said Keisha as Kenny was taken into custody. He was charged with kidnapping & assault equating to torture meaning he faced a maximum of up to life in prison for what he did.
"Thanks for your help guys. We're forever grateful" said Kenneth.
"Whenever you're in trouble just yelp for help" said Ryder as he smiled reassuringly. The remainder of the day was incident free with everyone spending the day playing together & hanging out at the Lookout. Melissa & the Smiths also managed to find a vacant house to reside in. It was located in the same area where the Landon & Nolan families lived. Elias helped buy everything they needed including appliances, cutlery, furniture & other household needs. By the end of the day Melissa & the Smiths were all settled in. They were happy to finally have a nice home away from Kenny. That night as Kenneth lay awake in bed he reflected on the day's events.
"Today was insane. I can't believe that asshole Kenny would dare to hunt us down. It's a good thing Melissa went & got help. The PAW Patrol did an awesome job in finally giving Kenny exactly what he deserved. Now he's in jail & we never have to see his ugly face again. We're going to have a great time living here in Adventure Bay" thought Kenneth as he went to sleep.
