Alex sat beside Harper, took a sip, and started again: "The Wizard Realm is in another Dimension of Space and Time that has several Inter-Portals between it and the Dimension in which we are living Here and Now. I know that is difficult to understand." Maya nodded and took Riley's hand: "I feel we understand what you are saying." Alex took another sip and continued: "In the Wizard Realm there exists many different types of beings who have what you would describe as Special Powers or Magic. Some of those types of beings are classified as Banshee, Brownie, Dwarf, Elf, Fairy, Genie, Ghost, God, Goddess, Grinch, Hobgoblin, Imp, Jinn, Leprechaun, Mermaid, Muse, Nymph, Ogre, Pixie, Sprite, Vampire, Warlock, Werewolf, Witch, Wizard, Wraith, or Zombie. And they sometimes venture into our Here and Now Dimension and may cause problems here.
Everyone took a breath, then a sip of their drink, absorbing what Alex just told them. Riley asked: "So, as Maya asked, is everyone in your family from the Wizard Realm and they are Wizards?" Alex smiled: "No, actually, my whole family was born and raised in our Here and Now Dimension. We just have the Wizard Gene in our DNA, and we naturally study and practice Magic and Wizardry.
She took another sip of her drink and continued: "In the old Wizard Realm, the father of each family was the Family Wizard. It was his responsibility to teach his children to learn Magic and Wizardry, and each child was given a Practice Wand with which to practice the Magic Spells they learned. When the eldest male child celebrated his 18th Birthday, he was allowed to attend the Wizard Academy of Magic and Wizardry, in the Wizard Realm. We call it WizTech. When the son graduated, he then shared the Family Wizard title with his father until the father either gave the full title and responsibilities to his son, or the son started his own family and became his own Family Wizard. And his children would have the Wizard Gene in their DNA too.
"The entire Wizard Realm, and all of its Citizens, is under the administration, governance, and management by the Headmaster of the Wizard Realm, and the Academy is managed by the Chancellor and Provost. Justin graduated from WizTech, and my father Jerry graduated from there, and Max and I have attended classes and training there." Maya seemed to understand, but her eyes were fluttering: "So, Alex, your whole family has been, and still are, citizens of both Dimensions and can travel through these Inter-Dimensional Portals between these two Dimensions?" Alex answered: "That's right. You do understand!"
Then Riley asked: "But does your mother, Theresa, have the Wizard Gene? Because I thought she was born in Cuba and her family moved to Mexico. Harper looked at Riley: "Originally, Wizards were not allowed to marry anyone who did not have the Wizard Gene. But when Professor Crumbs became the Headmaster of the Wizard Realm about a thousand years ago, he changed that Wizard Law and allowed Wizards to marry whomever they loved, regardless of who had the Wizard Gene or whether or not they were of the same sex, or even the same species, too. And the Spouse of a Wizard would have all of the rights of a Wizard. It was a major change in the Wizard Realm back then. So, Theresa is a Wizard by being married to a Wizard." Alex added: "And Harper is a Wizard too because she is married to a Wizard." Both Maya and Riley's heads snapped up.

"When I won the Family Wizard Competition, and Professor Crumbs asked Justin to be the new Chancellor of WizTech, the entire family, including Juliet and her Vampire family, and Mom's family in Mexico, and Dad's brother, Kelso, and their whole family in Italy, all went to the Wizard Realm Ceremonies for me and Justin."
Harper continued: "While all of our families were in the Wizard Realm, Justin proposed to Juliet, and Alex proposed to me, and we had a joint Wedding together. Professor Crumbs married us almost six years ago. And that was when Dad and Mom created the Waverly Corporation and made Max the General Manager of the Waverly Sub Station and his Wizard Powers were restored to him. And that is when Dad and Mom announced that they were going to travel and live six months in Italy and six months in Mexico with their families."
Alex refilled everyone's glass and continued the story: "Justin and Juliet immediately moved into the Chancellor Mansion at WizTech. When they were settled, Professor Crumbs summoned them both to his Wizard Realm office where he asked Juliet to be the Provost of WizTech."
"She immediately accepted, and Professor Crumbs invited them to meet Harry and Hermione Potter, who had just walked into the office. Professor Crumbs introduced everyone and announced that Harry was the new Chancellor and his wife Hermione was the new Provost for the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry. Harry explained that he and his wife would manage Hogwarts for future Wizards aged eleven to eighteen and would be the preparedness Academy for the WizTech."
Maya looked at Riley and they both just looked at each other for several minutes and processed everything they had been told. Riley asked Maya: "Are you alright, Peaches?"
