Chapter 1

Ema was alone for the longest time, so of course when out of the blue she gained 13 brothers she was completely overwhelmed and unsure how to go about things. But that didn't stop the fact that she was overjoyed that she was no longer alone. Those nights of crying herself to sleep were over, coming home to an empty and still house would never happen again. She was apart of a family a large one with problems and arguments, despite all that there was love here and a happiness that Ema was sure didn't exist.

Ema was settling in great; in the beginning there was some rough patches, but they got through them quite easy. Her relationship with the boys grows stronger everyday well except Natsume. Its not that they don't get along it just feels like a wall between them and very time Ema try's to climb it she gets shot back 20 feet. She wont give up though its important that she fights to be a good sister to all her brothers .

Today April 17

Ema

Its Loris birthday today and I still haven't got anything to give to him! Ug why do I procrastinate so much on these types of things. I wonder what Yuske got him, they're only a year apart right hell know what to get him!

I found Yuske lounging on the the sofas.

"Hey I need help finding a present for lori im hopeless " I said sitting next to him

" Oh that's right its Loris birthday Ha this is the second year I forgot haha" he said laughing

"Really your as hopeless as me" I said with a sigh

"Actually hes much worse then you are " Hikuru said walking in from the kitchen with louis following behind him.

"Oi I im a very considerate brother" Yuske said irritated

"Oh really little brother tell me one of our birthdays and ill believe you" Hikuru challenged

" Ha easy Loris birthday is April 17 I win" Yuske said smugly

" Tch you didn't know that till Mae told you" Hakiru told him while throwing a apple at him

He caught the apple with ease and turned to me with a huge smile on his face "Thanks Ema !"

I couldn't help it but I started to blush a little " Y-Your welcome " I stuttered

"oh" Hakiru said looking interested for some reason

At that second UKyo walked in with the grocery's and I got up to help carry them in to the kitchen.

"Ah thank you Ema you didn't need to" Ukyo said when we were putting them away

"Oh its no problem I like helping in the kitchen, when I was living by myself I hated it because it always

reminded me that I was alone. But here it feels nice like Im part of something larger then my self" I told

him but I didn't mean to say all that guess I just got carried away. I couldn't look him in the eyes .

I felt a hand on my shoulder I turned around and it was Azusa. He looked at me with troubled eyes and

Said " You never have to face that again you'll have us sorry but your stuck with us forever" . I couldn't help it a tear slipped down my cheek I haven't cried in years and I didn't want to do it in front of them so I looked away and said "thank you so much you'll never understand just how much that means to me".

"Azusas right Ema you belong here, you are something we didn't know we needed" Ukyo said quietly.

" thank you " I said finally looking up to see them both smiling at me and its so memorizing.

"So I have a question I want to get a birthday gift for Lori but I don't really know what to get him I was wondering if you guys would have any suggestions ?" Trying to change the Subject I really need to focus on what gift to get lori

" That's very thoughtfull of you Mae" Ukyo said

"Very, hm lori does keep to him self quite a bit so it is rather hard to shop for him at times But he does love his flowers so maybe something for plating or gardening perhaps ?" Azusa said

"Yes that's a wonderful idea " Agreed Ukyo

"Perfect! I was in a book shop the other afternoon with Futo and there was a new book on planting rare flowers in normal areas" I said finally I have something to get him. Lori is always making me feel better when ever im feeling down so I want to get him something special something that he loves.

"Im glad you found what you were looking for

" Azusa said

" Yes im so relived. I Need to head there right way before they close" I told them

" ah alrignt Dinner should be ready in a few hours" Ukyo informed me

"Okay ill be home before then. Alright im off see you guys later" I said waving

" Ema" Azusa called . I Turned around "yes?" " Please be careful" he said

" Of course" I smiled at him. It felt nice to have them worry about me.
