Chapter 2
After my conversation with Ukyo and Azusa I went back into the living room to retrieve my purse that I forgot on the couch. The boys were still there all talking about something on tv they saw. Louis saw me come in "ah chii do you know what you want to get Lori?" I grinned "Yes Im heading over to the store to get it now, I should be back soon." "Do be careful little sister its getting dark outside it looks like we might get some rain" Hikaru said looking away from the tv. "thank you ill be extra careful I should be quick, Im leaving now, Bye Bye" I said over my shoulder heading up the stairs and out the front door.
Hikaru was right there was some dark clouds towards the south. I thought about bringing an umbrella, but I decided against it. I should be home before the rain hits. So, I headed down the driveway toward the train station.
I reached Downtown around an hour later and headed to the bookstore. Looking up I was the sky turning a light gray color i had a really bad feeling, but I just pushed it away. While on my way to the store I ran in to someone I wasn't paying attention. I Apologized immediately when I looked up to see who it was, I saw orange hair! "N-Natsume im so sorry I wasn't watching where I was walking, I didn't mean to crash into you. Are you alright" I said so quickly I don't think I was even breathing.
"Ema calm down breathe its alright I'm fine, but you should be more careful what if you fell? And come to think of it why are you down here by yourself during this time of the day" He looked at me with a look I never seen him wear it was worry. "Um I wanted to get a present for Lori it's his birthday today, so I wanted to get him something." "I see that's very kind of you. But still you should have brought one of the guys with you this isn't really a good part of town for you to waking around in even in the daytime" he scolded me. "Don't worry Natsume I'll be fine I wasn't going to take long beside Ukyo knows where I am." I Told him. "well where are you going?" "To the bookstore on North St its only 2 blocks away "I was really glad he cared enough to worry about me. This is the first time we've really spoken alone. He seems different then with his brothers. He`s kinder, I like this side of Natusme. "Okay I have no choice I will accompany you to the store" He said after a moment. "Huh what no its okay, I really don't want to be a bother to you really ill be fine." I told him in Ernst. "You are never a bother and I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you and I really won't be able to focus the rest of the day so, I'm doing this for me as much as it is for you." "Okay if It will make you feel better, I would love to have you accompany me to the store" I Smiled at Him. I'm truly happy he was going to spend time with me. "I'm glad, let's go. "he smiled and I was awestruck.
We reached the bookstore shortly. We didn't really say anything we just walked in a comfortable silence. "So, do you know what your going to get Lori?" Natsume asked once we reached the store. "Yes, there is a new book out about how to grow rare plants and flowers in your own back yard, I think lori would really enjoy it." "That sounds like the perfect gift for him, maybe after this we can stop and the seed store and buy some of the seeds in the book." Natusme suggested. "Oh, really can we that sounds like a wonderful idea!" I was so excited Lori was going to love this, I hope. "I'll be right back I want to see if they have a cooking book here I really need to learn" I couldn't help but giggle a little he seems so good at everything. "That's fine ill be right here "I told him.
He went towards the cooking section and I couldn't see him anymore. I turned around to look for the plant book but of course with my luck I crashed into someone else again this time I fell on top the person. Ugh this is just like me I'm always such a kults. I looked down at the stranger "I am so very sorry sir! Please forgive me I can be so clumsy sometimes." I said getting off of him and helping him up. " Haha don't worry about it I don't mind if a cute girl fell on me, you can do it again if you'd like." He said playfully it reminded me something of Tsubaki. I turned Red from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. "Im really sorry it was an accident please forgive me." " Hey really its okay are you okay you did you get hurt when you fell?" he asked "No No im fine im just really embarrassed" "Don't be these things happen all the time nothing to worry about" he said smiling. This time I really looked at him he was young about Louis's age with Black hair and light grey eyes he was truly beautiful with a kind smile, he also looked to be in very good shape tall like Subaru and built like him too. However ther was something off I couldn't put my finger on it . He waved his hand in front of my face to gain my attention. "are you sure youre okay you didn't hit your head or anything right?" he asked concerned "Sorry I was just thinking of something" I told him blushing. " Well I want to introduce my self Im Hiro Sora and I own the bookshop, I saw you come in and I wanted to see if you needed any help" holding out his hand. "Oh, Well Im Ema Hinata it's great to meet you Mr. Sora you have a really great store" I told him "Oh, why thank you this is my newest store I have stores across the country. And please call me Hiro I would really like it." He said smiling. "If your okay with that then please call me Ema, Hiro." I said smiling . " This may be to forward and I how you don't take offense but may I take you out for some coffee some time I would really like to get to know you Ema you are rather fascinating. That is if your boyfriend wouldn't mind" he said and for a moment I was confused then I remembered I came in with Natsume. "S-Sure id like that and He`s not my boyfriend he my brother" "Interesting you don't resemble each other at all" he said " Well that's because we are step siblings" "ah that makes much more sense."
"Ema who is this?"
