When they got there Beverly was looking at Wesley with Picard next to her. Geordi had told them Wesley was going to be there.
"Hi mom, Captain." he said smiling.
"Wes? You ok?" she asked and had him sit down.
"Yeah. My head hurts a little after the fall but I'm fine. I remember everything again." he said.
"Good. Looks like you're doing fine." she said when she was done.
"Lieutenant Crusher, how are you feeling?" Picard asked.
"I'm fine sir."
"Good."
"Should I go get changed when mom lets me out?"
They looked at her and she nodded.
"Yes, when she lets you out get changed and then head to the Bridge."
Wesley again smiled happy he was able to get back to work.
"Can I go now?"
"Go ahead, be careful though."
"Meet me in the Bridge all week so we can check and make sure nothing is wrong." Picard said.
Wesley still smiled, agreed then headed to his quarters and got changed.
When he was done he smiled.
"Next up, the bridge."
While he headed there he saw Kat and smiled.
"Hey Kat!"
She smiled, ran to him and gave him a hug.
"You back to normal?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm back and remember everything. From my first day here to last week's fall." he said and gave her a hug and kiss.
"Good. Meet me at the Cafe' at dinner?"
"Sure."
They gave each other a kiss and split up.
'Maybe I should bring the ring with me and do it at lunch?' he thought.
When he got to the bridge everyone looked at him happy he was back.
"Welcome back Lieutenant Crusher." Picard said.
"Thank you sir." he said and sat down. "Where to sir?"
"Warp eighty six." he said and Wesley got it all set. " Engage."
Then they were off.
He did fine with his shift and wasn't dizzy, sore, headache or anything. For the next three hours he was doing fine and happy to be back.
Sure enough he was in his quarters getting changed and grabbing something.
"I hope she likes it and accepts it." he said and put it in his pocket.
When he got to the Cafe' he sat down across from Kat and smiled.
"How's it feel to be back?" she asked.
"Awesome. I feel more like me again." he said while they ate.
When they were done Wesley stood up and took something out of his pocket.
"What are you doing?" she asked while he knelt down.
Everyone looked at them already knowing what he was doing.
"Kat, we've been together for two years and I want to stay together forever." he said and opened the box. "Will you marry me?"
She smiled and nodded.
"Yes."
Then while he put the ring on everyone started clapping and cheering.
He deserves a family after what he's been through for the past six years.
Kat looked at the ring smiling.
"Wanna go tell Dr. Crusher and Captain?" she asked.
"Let's." he said and took her hand.
Then they headed to the lounge where everyone else was.
When they got there everyone looked at them and saw them holding hands and smiling. Some people knew that smile anywhere.
"Hi everyone." Kat said.
"Hi Wes, Kat." Geordi said.
"What are you doing here? Aren't you two on a date?" Riker asked.
"Yes, but we have something for you to know." Wesley said.
"Which is what?" Worf asked.
"I'm engaged." Kat said smiling.
Then like before everyone smiled and clapped.
"Congrats you two!" Riker said.
"Thanks." Kat said.
"Is that why I felt nervousness earlier when you were in the bridge on your shift Wesley?" Troi asked causing him to turn bright red and everyone else to burst out laughing.
"Stop laughing! You think I was nervous? I remember the face on Will's face when he was going to propose to Deanna." Wesley said smirking and causing Riker to turn bright red and them all to start laughing twice as hard.
"Oh shut up!" he said still bright red.
"Anyways, congratulations Lieutenant Crusher, Ensign Snow." Picard said.
"Thank you sir." Kat said.
Then Beverly gave them both a hug.
"Welcome to the family Kat." she said.
"Thank you."
Then Wesley looked at the clock and it was ten o'clock.
"Alright, why don't we go hang out at my quarters for a while?" he said.
Kat already knew what he wanted to do and she was alllll for it.
"Alright." she said.
"See you all tomorrow." Wesley said.
