Hiiii I just wanted to update the story. This story will be taking place 5 years after she moves in with the boys. She is in college for nursing.

This is my first story so please keep that in mind when reading. I love the manga and anime, so I wanted to write a different take on the story. I Hope you enjoy it ? P.S this has not been edited.

Chapter 4

Natsume

"Then why don't you do something about it then?"

I was stunned to silence, "Ema do you understand what your saying your giving me an invitation that you can't take back." I told her when I got my thoughts back together.

"I may not have any experience with romantic relationships, but I feel something for you and its more then siblings, y-your very important to me and I want to be closer to you." She said while gripping the bottom of my t shirt. She`s so cute when she blushes. I don't think I heard her right, she has feelings for me.

"Natsume? Are you gonna say something?" Ema looks up at me with her brown eyes and I'm lost again.

I pull her to my chest and hug her because that's all I'm able to do I'm still in shock.

"Really Ema is it true?" I plead praying I didn't hear her wrong

"Yes, I've never felt this for anyone, and I don't know what to do. Honestly its embarrassing." She says hide her face in my chest.

I laugh, this is the greatest day of my life. She likes me god the one person that I've every felt seriously for likes me back.

I place my hand under her chin and lift her head to look at me in the eyes. "You have no idea how happy you just made me Ema. I know you haven't dated much but if you're willing, I would like to take you on a real date and get to know you more."

"But what about your brothers? What about our parents? How will this work? What will they say ?" she says and I can see the fear in her eyes.

"Hey hey calm down its okay we don't need to tell them right now, okay? Right now is about us and how we feel and they all love us they might be a little hard at first but I know they'll come around im sure of it they want us to be happy "I reassured her. I understand what she's feeling I`ve had those same questions in my head every day since I realized I loved her, but id go through all of it if she was there waiting on the other side.

"Yes ill go on a date with you. And your right when the time comes we`ll do it together its gonna be fine" she said smiling that beautiful smile at me. She puts me at ease like no else could.

I grab her hand and smile "Come on its getting dark now we have to head home before they call the cops looking for you"

She laughs and we head out of the ally and start toward my car never letting go of each other.

Ema

We reached the condo just as the sun goes down. The dark clouds from earlier now hang over us . Walking up the steps it begins to pour. We run to the front door while trying to stay somewhat dry, laughing the whole way there. We both look so ridiculous Natsume`s bright orange hair is now completely soaked and sticking to his head like glue.

"ugh I feel like I just took a shower with all my clothes on" Natsume say laughing

"I know what you mean haha I feel a cold coming on"

"Lets get you inside so you can change Ukyos blowing up my phone asking where we are" he says laughing again.

"Well look at you two finally getting along I see that's a wonderful sight. Huh Natusme finally being nice to Ema I see" Kaname had popped up out of nowhere. Dry thought he had been smart enough to bring an umbrella.

" Ive always been nice" Natsume defended him self

"Sure sure little brother. Ema your turning blue let's get you upstairs its freezing out here this rain came out of nowhere" Kaname grabs me by the shoulders and guides me to the elevator inside the building . with Natsume following behind us. We wernt holding hands anymore and I missed his warmth, but I know it was to soon for anyone to ask questions.

After heading up to my room and changing I wrapped up the book for Lori and Cleaned out my jacket pockets before throwing it in the laundry I found the business card Hiro gave me. It had his cell phone number written on the back of it. I know that he made Natsume angry and to be honest I really didnt see him in a romantic way, I don't think ill be calling him anytime soon but I put it on my desk in case I ever actually needed it. There was a slight knock on my door I opened it and it was Masaomi.

"Hi your home from work how was it today?" I asked him

" Busy I had more clients than usual today a lot of colds going around."

"I know it has been really cold lately its weird for April."

" So hows school going I know we haven't been able to talk much its been crazy these past few weeks."

"I understand ive been swamped lately to my classes have been getting tougher since were approaching the end of the semester." I replied I have been studing so much lately I haven't been sleeping very well this anxiety is real. I haven't told the boys about it though, they can get really over protective and I just need to work as hard as I can .

"Right right this is your last year, before you go in to a residency program right " Masaomis askes with a glint in his eyes

" Yes and I have been studying like crazy, im 2 in my class and I want to try for 1st but honestly ill be glad if I can just pass haha"

"Well the reason I wanted to talk to you is what do you think of joining my staff after you graduate? You can do your residency under me. What do you think?"

" Wait are you offering this because im your sister because I cant do that I want to be accepted on my own merit and skills Masa."

"I wouldn't do that and to be frank neither would the board of supervisors of the hospital but they have taken a look at your academic record and were truly impressed. You have been top 10 in your class since 9th grade and you did over 10 thousand hours of clinicals and volunteering throughout your college education that in it self is amazing not even doctoral grad students do that much. You would be a amazing addition to the hospital and if I didn't approach you first with an offer than another department would be in a few days. Actually, they still might. Just think about it." Masamois said truthfully

" You know the reason why I went in to nursing was because of you I saw the difference you created in every child that you helped whenever I brought wataru for his checkup you have this way with everyone not only children. You are a really big influence on me. When I was growing up my father was there of course but a lot of the time he was out working so I never had anyone to look up to. That changed when I met you and you became the one who helped me and shaped me. I never thanked you properly. So if you truly want me on your staff because I am worthy then I gladly accept!" Told him happily if I can help him in any way then I will. I could never hope to repay him for all he's done for me through out the past 5 years but im gonna try.

" Im very grateful to you as well you may not think so but you've brought everyone so much closer together were happier then we were. You've always been there for all of us constantly and it means the world and I ve never thanked you. I know this residency program is only for a year or 2 but I hope you'll be with us for much longer. Your going to be an amazing nurse your already overqualified. I just want you to be sure that pediatric is the direction you want to go in, you could get in to any hospital, and any department with no issues."Masa said

"Im sure I've always been sure that I wanted to work with kids and I want to. I know I could learn so much working for you. But ill have to get through the next few weeks first." I sighed

" Youll do amazing I know it. Once you graduate ill give you a proper offer and paperwork to sign." He said smiling

"Ema Masa its time to go down its time for diner" Subaru said walking up to us

" Alright lets go" I said

Dinner was amazing all of us at the table was something that didn't happen often since we were all so busy but it was nice of everyone to be here for lori. After dinner we went in to the living room where lori open up his presents and we had cake. He really loved his new book and I was happy he seemed to truly be interested in it. After that we all watched a movie with lori on oneside and Natsume on the other side . The boys were sprised to se Natsume sit next to me at dinner and on the sofa but they didn't say anything about it.

It was late when everyone decied to head to bed. It was too late for Natsume and Hikru to drive so they stayed over and slept in the extra bedrooms. When heading to my room natusme was there waiting for me.

"I just wanted to say goodnight I know we didn't get a chance to talk much tonight but I needed to tell you that im glad that you crashed in to me today." He said smiling

"Oh boy can we just forget my clumsiness. But im really glad to thank you for opening up to me I know that could not have been easy. I want to see where this goes with you." I told him

He pulls me into a hug and there goes the butterflies in my stomach again.

We say good night and I stayed up for about an hour studying then fell asleep thinking about what a long day I had. It was the best sleep ive had in a really long time.
