Chapter 14

Mansion

Hotaru got up. "Hotaru, are you okay?" Usagi asked. Hotaru nodded and made a sound of acknowledgement there was a light blush on her cheeks.

Setsuna looked lost in thought almost like she was remembering something, or someone, very important to her. Usagi wondered what was going on with her two remaining unpaired senshi.

Keiichi watched his young cousin with observant eyes

She seemed confused, worried and excited at the same time.

"Usagi-chan," Haruka broke her train of thought.

"Hmm," she made a sound of acknowledgement.

"Are you okay?" Haruka asked

Usagi nodded "I'm fine"

Just then there was a knock at the door. Mamoru stood to answer it. Setsuna and Hotaru also stood. "Haruki!" a silver-blonde whirlwind jumped up.

"Usagi-chan," Haruki sounded concerned.

Usagi looked down into her big cousin's arms and saw her younger brother slumped and pale. "Shingo!" she whispered.

"He is okay, I made him take his medicine" the new voice surprised her and she looked down and saw two young wolf cubs, no older than four months old.

"Tsuki, Tomatsu?" Hotaru was surprised, she thought they wouldn't be reborn yet.

The two wolves nodded a beyond animal response. "Hai, we were reborn only a few months ago and have been in the care of an older couple that found us shivering in the park. They died though so we ran away and been searching for you," Tsuki replied

"Was it a new enemy?" Haruka was immediately ready to fight.

"NO! They were old. You never change 'Ruka," Tomatsu could not help but giggle even though he was worried about his charge.

Haruka sat down still stunned that the cubs could speak even though she had been friends with three cats that could talk for five years.

Michiru wrapped her arms around her mate.

"I'm going to wake him," Mamoru said.

"Heal him?" Hotaru was on the verge of tears.

Mamoru shook his head, "No."

"But why?" she all but whispered.

Mamoru remained silent and fed Shingo just enough energy to wake him. The eighteen year old teen opened his eyes and Usagi knew then what her love was up to. "Minna, Henshin yo"

Shingo felt himself lifted as his body was covered with a lattice of scrolls and a blue crescent moon shone on his forehead. Years of memories hit him all at once. His love, the Soul-Bond, pain pain, save the princess, "goodbye my love."

He opened his eyes and saw himself in the mirror, his dirty blonde hair now silver with blue tips. His pants and top we're now white with blue and silver crescent moons on them

He turned and looked at Sailor Saturn, no Hotaru, and smiled as he approached her. She placed both hands on his cheeks and was looking him over.

Shingo couldn't help the laugh that bubbled from his throat. "The transformation healed my scars and my asthma. I am fine," he wanted to reassure her.

Hotaru nodded and took one step closer to him, their noses almost touching. He made the first move and inched forward and he kissed her gently.

Setsuna studied Haruki "but, you should have? Why aren't you?"

He looked over and nodded at the two couples watching them.

"My little cousins may have had something to do with that."

The two mentioned blushed and grinned.

"The day my mother died, these two screamed for me to stay with them while mom went on business. She was killed in a crash. If it wasn't for Usagi and Shingo." He couldn't finish the sentence. It just hurt too much and did funny things to his chest.

Setsuna nodded, they must have had an in cling even then at such a young age she was more thankful than words could say they had saved her soulmate without even really knowing who they were. They had only just begun to see as they were known then Ru and Endy in their dreams.

"We must get to the moon, the Inners and Luna and Artemis will be waiting" Setsuna whispered still clinging to Haruki
