A/N: Well here's another chapter. I've got the first four written, but have no idea how many there will be in total. At least one chapter with things from each of the brothers points of view. And small inserts from some of the others. Enjoy!

"Well, I think that went rather well." Donnie said as he went to return Raph's Bandana and Sai once they had reached the roof above the sewer they had come out of.

"The only reason Master Splinter didn't pull us up on anything is because we've had a trying few months. Keep them, Donnie." Raph was stopped by Leo as he held out a hand to stop the swap. "Let's head over to April's and see how long we can fool her and Casey. Order the pizza on the way." He was out of character, but Raph was suspecting that he was enjoying throwing them off.

"I'm rather enjoying this," Raph said, only to be shot down by Leo.

"Even the extra things Master Splinter had you do because he thought you were me?" he heard the oldest turtle chuckle as he grimaced. "Let's see how you do with me being Mikey. And remember as you're now playing me, you can't attack me." With that he taunted Donnie with his win at Nexus, gave a pretty good impression of Mikey's 'Cowabunga' as he leapt off a building and called the others to try and catch him. He even waved a piece of technology that he had sneaked from the bag slung over Mikey's shoulder. Raph wondered what had prompted him to grab it as they had left, but he quickly realised that it was something that the Brainiac often did, as he would also talk geek with April. He chuckled a moment as he thought about the future conversations and how long it would take for her to realise that she wasn't talking to Donnie.

"Anyone else think he's finally lost the plot?" Donnie asked as he tried to imitate Raph's growl.

"Mikey, give me back that doohickie!" Mikey yelled at the eldest brother, pausing on the ledge of the building a moment at how odd it was to call after himself before shaking his head and running after him, doing a good impression of Donnie; although Donnie would have known exactly what the doohickie was.

"I think it's about time he lightened up. With the Shredder gone, the Foot returned to Japan with Kari and the Purple Dragons mostly in jail, this is just Fearless' way of having some fun." Raph said as he shifted to run after the others. He felt the sheaths on his back and knew that, while he wanted the role of leader, he was realising that Leo had a huge burden on his shoulders. It wasn't all just about being in charge. He had to know the strengths and weaknesses of his brothers, as well as his own. Master Splinter's training session this morning had shown him that. He even realised that he needed to work more with the Katana, and even his Bo work was sloppy. The only reason he had beaten Donnie with the normally Purple turtle's own weapon was because he used his own ground work moves before the other realised it.

He leapt off the roof, following Mikey and Leo as the former chased the latter, calling for the return of the doohickie. He smiled as he heard his second eldest brother do a good impression of his growl and follow him over the edge. What followed was one of the most interesting runs to April's place in a long while. Donnie stopped at one point and ordered several pizzas, Raph nearby because that was the rules. No one was allowed to be by themselves no matter what. So he waited until Donnie finished the call, all the while keeping an eye on the other two.

He noticed that even though Leo was playing the part of Mikey, he was still keeping an eye on the others. He had stopped leaping across the rooftops and was now running around their current building, keeping the called for gadget out of the other's hands. He stopped at one point, crouched on the top of a vent to look at the others.

"Come on Leo, I want pizza! Hey!" He turned back to the Purple turtle as Mikey succeeded in reclaiming the item by bouncing off a second vent and over the Orange turtle and stowing it in the bag. Raph could feel Donnie's worry as he stood beside him, watching until the item was safely zipped inside. He smiled inside at the other, wondering just how Mikey was handling carrying the bag and running with the Bo on his back. He noticed that Donnie was constantly gripping his Sais as he ran, fearful that they would fly out of the belt. Raph himself was having to adjust his running style as well, even after Leo had settled the groves on the sheaths to sit flush against his shell. As he ran, jumped and flipped, he felt the difference caused by the sheathes on his back. He found he had to adjust how he flipped so that they wouldn't fall off, and his running became much smoother as he noticed a dull thud as it hit his shell with each footfall. The Sheaths and Katana were heavier than he had been expecting. Again, he was realising that being a leader was a heavy responsibility, both mentally and physically. He was starting to think emotionally as well. He turned to his older brother and pulled the Sais from the belt and slipping them into his own.

"It's too loose, that's why you're always grabbing at them." He said as he adjusted the belt. One last tug and he slipped his Sais back into place on the other turtle. One last adjustment to ensure that they could be pulled quickly and cleanly if they were attacked and he stepped back. He looked up at the silence from the other, and saw a look on his face that Raph was hard put to place. So he fell back to his usual response when someone was looking at him like that.

"What?" He growled and crossed his arms.

Donnie chuckled and the look vanished. "Until that moment, you were exactly like Leo. He helped me to get the Bo to sit just right on my shell, even going so far as to carve the slightest curve on it so it wouldn't slide off." He watched as his brother shrugged, "Even now, after all these years, I've never been able to get the curve right. I always take too much off, forcing Master Splinter to make another one cause I've weakened it too much."

Raph looked toward the other two, seeing that Leo was taunting Mikey with another gadget. He saw the Bo sitting on the back of the other turtle. "Leo must have settled it on his back before we got on the roof." He remembered when Leo did the same thing for him when he had gotten his Sais. Leo had clearly taken the time to go to each of them and adjust their belts and or weapons so they wouldn't move no matter how fast they ran or how high they jumped.

"That's my thoughts. I don't think I've ever seen Leo so relaxed."

"Not since we were tots, anyway." He took off after the other two, Donnie beside him as they continued on their way to the shop and home of their first human friend.

Raph landed on the roof of the building just as Mikey called out, "Guys, the pizzas are here. Did anyone bring the money?" He was looking over the edge of the roof, Purple tails flapping around his face in the wind, and Raph joined him. Just as he got there, Leo sidled up to him and handed him a wad of cash. Anything can be found in the sewers, even money. While mostly coin, which would get converted into notes; they would sometimes find cash while on hunting trips topside or when they went to visit their homeless friends.

"Here, I always keep a bit on my belt. We'll head down and pay April back." Raph nodded and lead the way down the wall and into the living room via the window that April always left open for them. He startled a moment when Leo called out from beside him.

"Hey April. Sorry, forgot to call ahead and let you know we were coming. This should cover the pizzas we ordered." Raph realised that the lights weren't all on and the darkness would help cover who was who for a few moments. He went forward and handed the money over before turning back to the others. He saw Mikey, no Leo; (wait a minute, this is confusing, and I'm the one writing this!). He saw Orange sprawl out on the couch against the wall and pull a random comic from his shell and start reading, Purple sit on the floor resting against it with a gizmo in one hand and a screwdriver in the other, while Red stood near the window arms crossed and a frown on his face.

Raph suddenly let out a snort of amusement as he realised that they were all doing what the bands they were wearing would do, but for very different reasons.

Leo was sprawling like Mikey would, only he was also keeping an eye on everyone between pages, (Raph wondered when he had grabbed it) but mostly on the turtle resting against the couch. Mikey was toying with the gadget like Donnie would when he was fixing things, only he looked to be pulling it apart. Donnie was against the window, arms crossed and a scowl on his face just as he would, only he was glowering at Mikey as he played with the device. Raph took a moment to think about what Leo would do; before finding a spot where he could keep an eye on all of them. He sat in the lotus position across from the couch under a couple more windows and took up the meditative pose the eldest was often seen in when they were there and at rest.

He kept his eyes slitted as April returned with the Pizzas and placed them on the table. He remembered that Leo would watch the rest of them for several minutes until they had collected what they wanted before grabbing his own. So far, they were behaving just as their coloured bandanas dictated.

"Here we go guys. Let's get some more lights on though, hey. You might ninjas , but I'm not. And neither is Casey."

Raph was about to ask where he was, before remembering that he had to talk the way Leo did. And so far, he hadn't had a need to. Donnie came to his rescue, talking around a mouthful of pizza, and covering any voice differences. "Where is that bonehead anyway?"

"I called him as soon as I heard you guys land on the roof. Things must be alright for you to run around on them again." She turned her back to them and Raph answered in his best imitation of Leo, taking out most of the growl in his voice. He had started to add it when the others noted when they were kids that they sounded a lot alike.

"Yeah, no Foot, no Kari and no Purple Dragons. Things have been pretty quiet since the showdown with the true Shredder." He hurriedly took a bite of pizza as April turned to him, no doubt realising that there was something different with his voice or how he spoke. Even without the growl, he noticed that it was deeper that the oldest turtle. That or she noticed the slightly different colour of his skin. Leo was lighter than he was.

"Splinter thinks he might be coming down with a cold." Donnie's voice came from the other end of the table, but with he and Mikey sitting side by side, he knew that April wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Raph had to hold in another snort of laughter as he gathered what he wanted. He realised that Leo's training session of them being in the other's shoes was going a long way, as the others ate the same way as the bands they wore did. Wondering just how long this would go on for, he took another bite of pizza. Taking his time eating it, he sat at the table and waited for Casey to show up.
