p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"While it felt like the world was on lockdown, certainly the small Californian town of Sunnydale, Buffy Summers had decided to embark on a project. She had been inspired by a number of posts she'd scrolled by on Facebook where photographers were going around their own cities and towns taking photos to just kind of have fun, bring people together in a new way, possibly lift some spirits... capturing these moments in history... and after debating it for a few days then clearing the idea with local authorities she decided she'd go ahead and give it a try./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"For about a week she worked on mapping the small town out into sections to take everything on and promoted it heavily in groups, on pages, with friends and family, putting flyers out, and just in any way that she could think of./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"The closer it got time to start, the more nervous she got but the first day had been an absolute blast and an amazing success, far better than she had even imagined. Then the second day had gone even better, more smoother. She'd learned to keep her route updated so people knew when she was coming a little better, she honked more, and went slower to make sure to take her time. She was having so much fun, especially as word was spreading and she started having full on families joining with their pets or making signs to take photos with, or staging wild set ups that she could capture with them./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"After Day Three she was already asked several times over to come back to a few places when she had a chance, to expand her area to include houses outside of the city limits. She had enjoyed taking photos of neighbors, new and old, in her community from their porches, their yards, wherever they were comfortable and how absolutely sweet every single person had been so far. And not only those at home but she had stopped at businesses able to remain open during these wild times as well, grabbing photos when she could of the workers as she made her way through the streets./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"The fifth day had been her busiest, having over forty families already in the past couple of hours alone as she was rounding out the final street for today. She checked her phone and made a quick update as she crept along, pulling in at the end of the next driveway then the next and getting things rolling./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"At the final house, she sat for a minute, honking her horn loudly several times before deciding no one here wanted to participate. She grabbed her phone to say she was done for the day when some movement caught her eye and she looked up. Rolling her window down, she stuck her head out a little. "Hi, sorry if I was bothering you..." she swallowed hard as she got a real look at him./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;""Are you the lady taking pictures of everyone?"/p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"Buffy nodded and held her came out the window with her real quick. "That's me. You're my last stop, did you want a picture?"/p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;""I don't live here, my grandma does but I've been in town making sure she was okay the past couple of weeks. She's been going on about it for days." Buffy smiled back at him and told him to take his time when he said he'd have to help her out to the porch. After he disappeared she made a small note on a sheet then climbed out again, hoping the sun gave her just a little bit longer./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"The man helped the elder lady out onto the large porch, taking care to make sure she looked nice enough for the photo and grabbed her small dog from inside and placed it in her lap./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;""You look beautiful!" Buffy called, taking just a few steps closer, making sure to keep at least six feet away and not violate any orders./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;""Thank you, dear."/p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"The man stood back out of the way while she snapped a few shots then asked if he wanted in one. He looked like he was about to turn her down but his grandmother obviously was not having any of that. Buffy moved slightly while he got himself situated then grabbed a few more quick ones with him./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;""Thank you!" she called out. "These look great. I am printing them all off and putting them in mailboxes when I'm completely done with the project but if you'd like to see them before that I'll have them publicly posted online. Probably in a couple hours just to go over everything."/p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"The very tall, very handsome man... the man she was sure she'd never once seen in this town before... stood up and came down to the bottom step. "You post them on Facebook? A group or something?"/p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;""Um, on my page, I post a link in all the local groups, and I have a Front Porch Project for Sunnydale page. I have some extra flyers with the links in my car if you want one? I'll put it in the mailbox."/p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"OoOoO/p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"Just finishing getting everything posted about thirty minutes earlier, Buffy smiled as she went back through and started tagging people as she could and seeing other friends and neighbors tagging everyone, commenting, and sending her tons of love for all she had been doing this week. She hadn't been entirely sure about this whole thing but every time she went out she felt better and better./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"After walking away, she sat back down seeing a message in the right corner. "Angel O'Roarke" it read, which was not someone she was familiar with by name only... but truthfully she had learned there was a lot of that, even in this small town. "Who's taking your photo?" was typed out in the small box./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"Clicking on the message, then on the name to go to the profile she felt her heart do a little skip as she recognized the man in the profile photo from the last house she'd visited today./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;""No one," she finally answered back. "Or possibly I might set something up with a timer I guess."/p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;""Hmm."/p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;""Hmm?" she asked after another minute passed./p
p style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;"Next she got a photo come through, a large bag with one expensive looking camera and some gear tucked away in it as well. "It's the best excuse I could think of to get to see you again. Hopefully."/p
