"... oooh..."
Two eyes slowly opened, blinking rapidly before the eyelids would stay at the top. The blurry sight quickly improves, as a wooden wall was standing some feet ahead.
"Uff... I feel so tired..." Hun's hands were pressing on the grass, as his chin rose from it. "... this sweet smell is nice, though."
Slowly, he stands up on his feet, as he moaned faintly. His posture lifted and his eyelids lowered to the middle.
"Where is coming from...?" His head turned to his left. "Oh?"
At the end of the small hallway, a large bush was standing in place, with blue-purple berries spread around it.
"Oh…" He began walking towards the bush. "Those berries look as nice as this smell, too…"
He stopped in front of them, while smiling a bit.
"I wouldn't mind take some of them…" He bended his knees a bit down, as his right arm stretched towards them.
His hand took off a berry, carrying it towards his mouth. He chomped it, while munching with his mouth closed.
"Hmm… the taste is not bad, either!" His eyes closed. "I should remember this place… if I happen to get near it, I would stop by and take some of those berries."
He swallowed, as his eyes opened.
"Speaking of place…" He turned behind. "Where am I?"
His head turned around, watching the wooden walls surrounding the small hallway. Some plants and flowers were spread near the ceiling and floor. In front of the boy, the darkness was almost covering a distant tree.
"… I wish I could remember how did I ended up in here, in the first place." His eyebrows went up and his mouth downturned. "Was it… very important?"
His arms folded, as his eyes closed.
"Ugh… didn't I said, once, how I was improving my memory? This isn't giving me any hope for the supposed improvement… but what I should do?"
His eyes opened, as his face frowned a bit.
"Well… at this point, I will remember during my trip back." He began walking forward. "I prefer keeping those berries in here, too… they might come as useful, somehow!"
His fists clenched a bit, as he was getting closer and closer to the end of the small hallway.
"How did I ended up finding this place?" His hands went each on his head's sides. "Wh-why I always forget the more important memories?!"
He entered inside the darkness, seeing barely-visible trees and bushes. He kept walking, as his head turned around.
"This forest feels… familiar." He frowned a bit. "It doesn't make me feel any better, though."
Frush.
"Ah!" His eyes grew, as he twisted left and right. "Wh-what was that?!"
More faintly-hearable noises came up in the air. Hun's hands began rubbing against each other, as he shivered a bit.
"It's getting cold…" He blew air out from his mouth. "… if things get out of the hand, I should make myself a torch." His eyes squeezed a bit. "This darkness is not making things any easier, too."
A light-blueish light came from the distance, on the left side. His irises pointed at it, as his mouth opened a bit.
"Oh…! Looks like I have found another room." He smiled a bit. "Maybe I can find another berry to eat…"
His pace increased, as his hands went each on the opposite arm, as they grasped them a bit.
"Brrrr…! I thought this kimono was much warmer than this…!" His teeth gritted. "I-I have to find the way out, before I completely freeze!"
The boy passed a bush on the left and some trees on the right.
"M-maybe those berries can help me sustain the cold… when I ate one, I haven't felt the cold at all. Actually…" His head rose, as he stared at the dark-covered leafs. "I felt better than before! Those berries must be a true, natural gift!" He smiled widely. "I gotta eat more of them!"
He began running towards the room. He turned on his lef
"AH!" His eyes expanded, as his mouth opened wide and stopped his feet in front of the entrance.
On the grass, several stone statues depicting Inklings were standing in various poses: their eyes were wide, their downturned mouth wide open… and their arms were either stretching towards the entrance or they were covering their faces.
Hun bended forward, as his face went paler.
"… those statues look very familiar…" His eyes blinked. "They are well made, though! As if those Inklings are real…"
The boy tilted to his right, almost lifting his left foot, as his eyes pointed at a small statue of a little girl.
"Wow! Just look at that statue, over there!" He smiled slightly, as he walked towards it.
He passed the other statues, jumping while turning his right side forward and landing near the small statue. He bended his knees, as his hands went on each of them.
"So incredible! I could bring this statue to Fara, since it really resembles her..." He sighed, as his mouth flattened a bit. "Too bad it has a such scared face expression on it..." His mouth rose.
He stretched his legs back up, as his eyes stared at the near wall: some routs were standing on it, together with few flowers.
"Ah, the berries don't grow here... oh well, I will try getting used to the cold." His irises lowered. "About those statues... who made them?" His right eyebrow rose. "They are so amazing! Such an odd choice, adding a desperate look on all of them, though... I don't see the need for that, to be honest."
He turned behind, as he shrugged.
"But I'm no one to judge such artistic choices."
His right hand went on his chin, as his eyebrows lowered, his irises stared at the ceiling and his right foot began tapping the grass.
"If I'm seeing statues of Inklings wearing kimonos... I must be near the Shrine, aren't I?" He nodded, as his eyes closed. "I'm glad to have some luck on my side..."
He smiled, as he began walking forward, while opening his eyes.
"Then, it's settled: I will find the exit and meet with everyone at the Shrine!"
