Hun stepped outside the hallway

SQUIIIII!

"AH!" He jumped, as his eyes expanded.

The dark-green flying Squid came from above, dash-floating towards the boy. He turned into a Squid, as the Squid passed above him.

"Who are you?!" Hun frowned, as he slid forward.

The flying Squid turned behind, as the creature frowned and resumed his dashing float.

SQUIII!

"Wh-what does that mean?!" Hun slid past a tree, going behind it and stopping. "Talk to me, please!"

The Squid hissed back at him, as he stopped in midair. Sweat formed on Hun's head, as he slowly crawls on the tree.

"Sh-should I try convince this Squid into becoming my ally…? Having an ally could be nice, if I meet an evil group…" His eyes closed. "Maybe if I try talking like"

SQUIII!

His eyes reopened, as his irises turned to the

PAF!

"Ow!" Hun spins frontally, as his eyes squeezed.

Pumf.

He landed on the grass, while yelping, as he slid forward.

"Don't hit me, please! C-can we be friends, instead?!" The top of his eyes smiled.

The flying Squid rushed in the air, while growling.

"I-I don't understand… where I am doing wrong?!" His irises went up. "… ah right! I was thinking to talk in the same language as this language!"

SQUIIIIII!

The flying Squid dived, increasing the flying speed.

"Squiii! Squii, squiiiiii!" Sweat jumped out from Hun's head.

The Squid's eyes expanded, as the creature stopped in midair, while the irises shrunk.

"Huh?!" He stopped too, as he began panting. "… squiii… squiii…"

The Squid's eyes blinked, as they were glued on Hun.

"Squiiii… squii, squiiiiii… squiii, squiii?" His eyes squeezed. "I-I don't even know what I'm saying!"

Silence fell in. Slowly, Hun's eyes opened to the middle.

"… am I… convincing this Squid?" His eyes opened fully. "Wow…! I-I'm so happy that"

SQUIIIII!

The flying Squid was frowning a lot, while puffs of smoke came from the sides and the tentacles were swinging violently. Several sweat drops appeared on Hun's head, as his irises shrunk. The Squid kept making sounds.

"I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I-I was saying random words! I swear!" Slowly, Hun slid forw-

The Squid dived immediately towards Hun.

"Noooo!" His eyes expanded, as he slid rapidly.

THUMP!

"… oh?" Hun turned to his right, while his forward movement came to a stop.

The creature's head got stuck inside the dirt, as the tentacles began waving in all directions! Cries and growls came from the Squid…

"Oh no!" Hun slid back towards the Squid, as his eyes grew a bit. "Don't worry! I will let you out of there!"

Hun returned in his humanoid form, as his hands each grabbed one tentacle. He began tilting backwards, while squeezing his eyes and snorting loudly.

Puum!

"Aaaah!" His eyes expanded, while falling on his back and opening his hands.

The Squid flew upwards, flipping backwards once, before looking back at the boy for at least three seconds. The eyes closed, as the creature tilted left and right, while raising and lowering in the air.

Squiii, squiii!

"Ah…!" Hun smiled. "I think he's happy that I saved him…!" His eyes closed. "Now I truly have an ally! Yes!"

He stands up, as his eyes reopened and stared at the Squid flying in front of him.

"Are you fine?" His hands shook the back of his kimono.

The Squid turned around the boy, while making noises and closing the eyes for the whole time, before returning in front of him.

"I will take that as a yes!" Hun nodded. "Having an ally is better than having enemies around you, don't you agree?"

The Squid nodded.

"… wait, he can understand my language?" His mouth opened a bit. "Do you have something to say?"

The Squid kept staring back at him.

"… ehm…" His hands went behind his back, as sweat jumped out from his head. "Sorry, I-I shouldn't ask that… yo-you might have your reasons…"

Squiiii!

The Squid's eyes closed, as the creature spun clockwise. Hun chuckled.

"Ok!" He nodded. "Now… it's better we should find a way out of this forest, so I can meet with my friends and, perhaps, understanding why I was here in the first place."

Hun turned behind.

"What path should we take? I think"

Cruuunch.

The boy yelped, as he began shaking left and right, while his eyes squeezed. The Squid's fangs were on his right shoulder, as the creature kept pressing on it. His hands went on the head, as his arms tried to stretch forward.

Hun turned into a Squid, as the creature remained in the air. He slid forward for a bit, before turning behind.

"You…" He frowned. "… how could you?! I thought we were friends!"

The Squid hissed back at him.

"Grrrrr… grrrrr!" His eyes squeezed. "If you insist being my enemy, then I have no other choice but to treat you like one!"

He bended on himself, before sliding forward. He jumped, aiming his head at the Squid: the creature went to the left, as Hun passed nearby. The Squid growled, now diving towards him. Hun twisted 180°, as he bended himself down…

VUM!

He jumped in midair, while spinning clockwise, as the Squid enlarged the eyes while trying to st-

SPLAT!

Blue ink exploded out of the Squid, as a smaller version flew off. Hun landed on the grass, as he gradually stopped and returned back in his humanoid form. His face was frowning.

"Grrrr… what is wrong with me?!" His hands went on his head. "Why I was this obsessed at having him as an ally?! I truly acted like a dumb-"

His eyes expanded, as his mouth flattened.

"N-no, wait, wait… wait… I'm getting a bit too mad for my tastes." His hands went back down and his eyebrows went up. "Sigh… alright. Let's just move on…"

He began walking forward.

"… but I swear that this is going to be the last time!" His eyes squeezed, as his fists clenched. "The last time someone betrays me on the back! … grrrrr…"

His right foot stomped violently on the grass, as his face frowned a lot.
