"She must be around here!" Lisa was running, while her left fist was clenching and her right hand was tightly grasping her fan.

Hun was frowning, while running behind the woman.

"Wh-what happened, before?! Why I can't remember anything about it?!" His teeth gritted.

Lisa turned to her right, as she immediately stopped. Her eyes were seeing three large boxes, who were standing horizontally, in the middle of a round light-brown surface.

The boy stopped on the woman's right side, watching the same thing. His irises focused on the gate behind the boxes: a shadowy-like Inkling figure was behind it. His mouth opened, as his eyes grew: he dashed forward.

"Mirii! I'm here, I'm finally here!" He smiled a bit.

After stopping in front of the gate, his head began tilting up and down. He took some steps backwards, before turning into a Squid.

"Watch out! I'm going to destroy this gate!" He bended on himself.

He instantly dashed towards the gate, impacting on it: he bounced away from it, while continuously spinning backwards, as pieces of the gate flew everywhere! Once he landed on the ground, he returned into his humanoid form.

"Why you haven't moved away, Mirii?!" Hun's mouth downturned, as his eyebrows went up and his arms moved around. "You could had gotten yourself hurt!"

Lisa was walking, while staring at the boy. Hun smiled.

"Well, it doesn't matter if you are fine..." He took some steps forward.

Lisa's left hand went in front of her opened mouth, as her face went paler.

"... you don't have anything to say?" His hands landed each on a shadowy-looking shoulder.

He shivered a bit, as his eyes closed and a sweat drop appeared on his head's right side.

"W-wow! You must be freezing with such cold shoulders..." His eyes reopened. "No wonder you couldn't even say one word!"

"Master..." Lisa's eyebrows went up.

"Now..." Hun's neck bended a bit forward. "Let me carry you-WHAT THE?!" He jumped backwards.

A small source of light was pointed at a grey-colored surface, together with a right ear. Hun's back bended backwards.

"Wh-what's that thing on your face, Mirii?!" His left hand went over the surface, sliding a bit on it. "Oh my... it's like a stone!"

"It's a stone, Master..."

Hun turned behind, staring back at the woman: her left hand was holding the fan's lower side, as her face expression was still the same.

"A stone?! ... aaaaah, now I understand!" Hun's right palm went on his forehead, while smiling widely and closing his eyes. "Ah ah ah, I should had known that it was another well-made statue!" His head lowered, as his right hand grabbed his chin. "Although, protecting the statue behind a gate is a bit too excessive, since the other statues weren't guarded at all!"

His head rose back, as his arms folded, while frowning a bit and moving his irises up.

"Well, if Mirii is not here... where is she, then?"

"Master... I..." Lisa trembled, while lowering her hands down, as her mouth was waving.

"Uhm?" His irises pointed back at the woman.

"... it pains me so much, telling you that..." She swallowed silently.

"Telling me what?" Hun's head tilted to his right.

"Mirii... Mirii is here, actually..."

"Really?!" Hun twisted left and right, while bending forward and expanding his eyes. "Where?!"

"Behind you..." Lisa's face went darker.

"Behind me?" He turned behind. "But there is that statue"

His mouth sealed, as his irises shrunk. He stood still for three seconds: his hands grabbed the statue, as he pulled it for a bit. His eyes were seeing Mirii's eyes almost popping out, with her mouth opened wide and her hands near her head.

"Master Hun... the foe we just fought... he has the ability to turn Squids into stone, by just looking at them." The darkness went away from the woman's face, showing her frowning expression. "He was trying to do the same thing to you... but"

"HOW CAN I TURN HER BACK TO NORMAL?!" Instantly, he turned behind while frowing a lot and showing watery eyes. "HOW?!"

"I-I was about to get on that part!" Lisa tilted backwards, as her hands went in front of her chest and sweat jumped out from her head. "When he uses his skill, he holds his victims until he's weakened." She nodded. "When we have damaged him, earlier in the battle, we have rescued every Squid who was under his spell."

Her head shook.

"If Mirii is still petrified, though... it means our enemy has recovered fast enough to use his terrible move, once again!"

Eh eh eh…

The two Inklings' head rose, looking in the same way.

If you want to see your friend alive, again… come alone in my arena…

"How about you set her free, now?!" Hun's right forefinger pointed upwards, while his right arm was stretching in the same direction. "It's just wrong to still pick up a fight against the others!"

You say that after hurting me? Eh eh eh… I don't even need to point out your own hypocrisy.

Hun growled, while frowning a lot and retreating his right arm down.

"Yo-you started it! I couldn't just stand here, seeing you"

Silence!

Hun's mouth sealed.

"There is no end on how much you disgust me…" Lisa's eyes squeezed a bit. "Even after all those years, you still want to splat me for a mistake I wasn't aware of!"

… I'm sending a seawolf to show you the path for the arena…

"Don't go, Master!" Lisa turned her shoulders towards the boy, while frowning. "His arena is a trap!"

Hun's head was pointed back at the woman, as his mouth was kept a bit open.

Don't choose poorly, Hun… if you cannot track me down, your friend will never return…

"NO!" His eyebrows and irises went up, as his mouth downturned. "NOOO!"

And so far, you were the only one who almost managed to splat me… with your luck, obviously.

"Yo-you are the one who made the poor decision!" His fists clenched, as he was stomping lightly in place. "You should have been our ally and not our enemy!"

I will never be friends with my preys… but enough talking. Tell me your decision… because a tie match only exists for cowards… and I'm not one.

The boy's eyes grew: slowly, his head lowered as he looked back at Lisa.
