This is a collection of Supercorp shorts.
See if you can guess the mystery woman in this one?
Jealousy is a green eyed woman
The one where Lena gets jealous
She hadn't paid any attention to the time of day until the alarm her girlfriend had set on her phone jolted her focus away from the report she was reviewing. It was the alarm signifying that it was 9pm and time for her to finish up at work. Even before her and Kara had started dating, the young CEO found herself being dragged out of the office by her friend more nights than not.
The alarm had been a small compromise at the start of their relationship. If she could wrap her business dealings up for the day and be home by 10pm it usually kept her girlfriend from fussing with her about enjoying life and frequently missed meals. She was beginning to tidy up her desk as she felt the familiar brush of air on her legs. She looked up to see her superhero girlfriend in a classic red and blue suit.
"I was heading out in a few minutes. I promise" she blurted before the other girl had a chance to reprimand her. She continued packing her things as the blonde entered the room off the balcony.
" Good, because we're going out" the blonde said in her usual chipper voice.
" I don't know about tonight love. I'm actually pretty wiped"
" Awww Lena. Come on. When was the last time we went out?" Kara said leaning her elbows on the glass desk opposite of the raven haired girl. She pouted as she leaned forward just enough to give Lena a special view of her cleavage.
"We go out all the time" she argued, rolling her eyes at the childish behavior.
"Going to CatCo and L-Corp events doesn't count" the blonde huffed.
"Oh they definitely count. They still take energy" she said circling the desk. The blonde stood meeting her lover with soft lips with her hands immediately finding their rightful place on the girls hips. She pulled her in deepening the kiss before pulling away.
"You should still go though. I'll probably just catch up on some reading"
"Are you sure? The whole gang is meeting up" the hero questioned, still hoping to change Lenas mind.
" I'm sure. There will be plenty of other times" reassuring the girl she would be alright.
"Ok. Do you at least want me to fly you to your apartment before I go get changed?"
" No honey. Don't worry about me. Really Kara. Go have fun with your friends" she said ushering the taller girl to the balcony.
"I won't complain if you want to come crawl in my bed later" she said spinning the girl around to face her. That put a smile on the blondes face. Her bold blue eyes lit up at the flirty statement. Lena lived for those eyes. For that smile.
They had been dating for six months and friends for 2 years. Kara always seemed to shine a bright light in Lenas otherwise grey life. It took a night of too many drinks and a visit to the hospital for Lena to finally confess her feelings to Kara. After that it had been days of back and fourth. Tears. Yelling. Denial. Then acceptance. They were different in many ways but being with her felt natural. Her life was better with Kara in it and she was doing her best to keep it that way.
"I will definitely take you up on that offer" she said smiling at the offer.
"Tell everyone I said hello" she said, grabbing the taller girls chin and pulling her in for a kiss. She watched as the girl climbed the edge of the balcony putting her hands on her hips in a superhero stance. In a not so graceful motion she pretended to do a cannonball off the tallest building in National City. The older girl chuckled as the blue and red streak flashed across the sky.
Knowing her partner was going to be preoccupied she hurriedly rushed back to her desk and opened her laptop back up. She was tired but if she could get some more work done tonight she would be ahead for tomorrow. Being one of the few female CEOs of a Fortune 500 company she had to stay 3 steps ahead of her competitors.
When her computer dinged a few minutes later letting her know the molecule picture had been rendered for the new project she immediately made her way to the elevator that led to the lab underground. She would work for a few hours and be back in her apartment before Kara came over.
The next morning
She didn't remember falling asleep sitting on her stool with her upper half splayed out across one of the lab tables. The last time she had checked the clock it had shown 5am. The breakthrough way more important than getting rest. Hopping off the stool with a huge stretch and small moan, her back bones crackled from relief at the uncomfortable sleeping position.
Checking her phone expecting a few texts from the hero showing her disapproval of her work ethic. Not one text. That was unlike the girl considering it was almost 2pm. This is when they would usually get lunch. She gathered her belongings making sure to lock up before heading to the elevator to go back upstairs.
Upstairs, using the private hidden bathroom, she showered as she had many mornings before. As the hot water ran over stiff muscles she recounted the last time she had actually gotten 8 hours of sleep. It had been a while. At least 5 months ago as she remembered hiding away in bed from the world avoiding Kara after expressing her feelings. All she did was cry and sleep in those days before she came out of her self inflicted isolation. She mused at how silly she had been.
Once dressed the woman found herself diving back into work with vigor as she had unknowingly slept half her day away. The molecular cell division rendering she had finished last night went straight to the science department of L-Corp for revision and testing. Checking emails was the next step with no time for celebration. Before she could finish her office door opened slowly to a confused Jess.
"Oh Ms. Luthor you're here. I didn't see you here this morning and Jeff said he hadn't picked you up last night or this morning so I assumed you had left with Kara"
"I had a very late night in my lab so I stayed here all night" without looking up from her work. Jess quickly dipped back out to her desk and returned with a stack of papers for her boss. She gently laid them down, sliding them in the other woman's direction.
"Do you need anything else Ms. Luthor?" Jess questioned.
" I'm fine. Thank you jess"
Jess retreated slowly out the office gently closing the door behind her. Once alone Lena finished responding to emails and returning calls. It was nearing dinner time before she finished all her work. Still no texts or calls from Kara. Nothing was wrong because she would have seen it on the news or heard from the DEO, more specifically Alex. The other woman was probably upset with Lena so she was giving her space.
Just in case, the woman turned on the TV changing the channel to the news. A few passion pieces about affordable housing and the growing hostility between humans and aliens breezed by in the background as she continued working. Crunching the final numbers on a new business venture with some local small businesses as the host on the screen spoke about the grand opening for "CLUB BED" going awry as a wall tumbled to rubble last night. It wasn't until the "Who's who" sector of the news that really caught her attention.
Speaking of CLUB BED, Cat Grant has a 50% share in the new club which made quite the impression last night. Over 500 people showed up to celebrate the clubs big night including the leading lady herself. She gave a small speech at the beginning of the evening and popped a bottle of champagne. And not just any bottle! It was a 3,000$ bottle from her own personal collection.
The owner of CatCo and business entrepreneur extraordinaire was seen last night at the grand opening with her posse of friends and security detail. The rambunctious well dressed group took over most of the VIP area and may I say the dance floor.
Lena couldn't believe her eyes as video and pictures flashed across the screen showing Cat Grant and several other familiar faces. Among them was one woman she didn't know. In many pictures that woman was too close to Kara for Lenas liking. Pictures of Kara and the unknown woman clapping as Cat popped the top off the champagne on the front steps of her new achievement. Kara was wearing a sexy dress she had never seen before as she was being led down the red carpet by the stranger. Her hand on the small of Karas back. Her brow furrowed as a video clip of them leaning over the railing hollering obnoxiously over the dance floor. The gorgeous stranger sticking her tongue out at the camera while Kara jumped up and down making a spectacle for the camera man.
She saw Alex and Nia dancing seductively on the dance floor with throngs of people around them. The music loud and distorted in the video clip. The woman could only hope that somewhere on that dance floor Kara and the other woman hadn't been doing the same.
Unfortunately the night was cut short as the wall on the north end of the building collapsed. Luckily no one was hurt and everyone was evacuated in a timely manner. Partial owner Cat Grant says she plans to get to the bottom of the mishap ASAP.
Was that why she hadn't heard from Kara? Why had she never mentioned this woman before? Who was she? The questions rang through her head at rocket speed with no answers. One thing about Lena was she didn't like to be confused. She liked to have all the facts.
Lena: Dinner?
Kara: I can't tonight Lee. Extra training. DEO
Lena: Did you have fun last night?
Kara: I had the best time. I actually got drunk! I'll explain later. Got to get back to training before Alex throws a fit.
Kara drunk! Now that was something she never thought she would see. With the girls alien DNA and hyperactive metabolism alcohol had no effect on her. Lena cursed herself a little bit for not going out with Kara last night. It's not that she didn't trust Kara but she didn't like missing out on events in Karas Life. She had already missed so much before Kara revealed her secret Identity. She took a few deep breaths composing herself. Lena quickly decided the best way to calm her nerves was to take a direct approach and go straight to the source.
DEO
The distinctive clicking of heels on the concrete floor gained attention no matter how many times she visited the secret headquarters. Her and Kara being the only ones to wear heels usually while the other members wore company mandated shoes. A few members waved or nodded as she headed in the direction of the training room with bags of Big Belly Burger. They had become accustomed to seeing Lena at the DEO after the woman had saved them several times and from seeing her with Kara. She had special approval from Alex and Jonn to be let on the premises at all times. As she approached the large titanium door she could hear a cluster of grunts and squeals.
Waltzing into the room her steps were halted as Alex slid harshly across the hard floor only inches in front of her.
"So not fair" Alex protested, jumping to her feet without a look in Lenas directions. If that had been Lena she would have had bruises all over. Her attention was finally drawn to the middle of the training room when a raspy voice spoke.
"Who ever said this was going to be fair Danvers"
The woman who had Lenas mind swirling for the last couple hours was standing there. The girl from the pictures. Even though she wasn't dressed up like she had been in the pictures, the woman was drop dead gorgeous. Blonde hair, cute freckles, bulging arm muscles, and a devilish smile. She took the stranger in, slowly walking along the wall as to not disturb whatever was going on in front of her. It wasn't until she bumped into a bench her eyes finally averted away.
Gently setting the food down her eyes returned to the training mat as Alex reared up for another go. It was only a second as they made eye contact before her attention was back in the fight but Lena could see the stark blue eyes. Even bluer than Karas.
"You have to watch my hips" the blonde said in her sultry voice. Lena stood in her heels and watched as Alex took a few swats at the other girl. Alex was trained in over 10 different fighting styles and knew how to operate over 30 different military grade weapons but you couldn't tell as she hit the mat with a loud thud. So loud it made Lena grimace.
"Damn it" Alex said, slapping the mat as she got on all fours.
"I think that is enough for tonight. Plus we have a guest" the new girl said offering Alex a hand.
"Oh. Hey Lena" the dark hair girl offered as she pulled herself up off the ground. Both women made their way to the bench grabbing towels and water bottles.
"Lena this is Sara. Sara Lance" Alex said in a huff after chugging some water.
"Nice to meet you" Sara said offering her hand after drying it on a towel. Lena shook her hand tentatively, still unwary of the new girl. Her handshake was rather strong. Lena was used to shaking hands with businessmen who purposely shook her hand aggressively as to show her they were in charge but this was stronger than any of them. Ignoring the slight pressure she retracted her hand slowly not showing weakness.
"Nice to meet you as well. I haven't seen you around. Are you new to the DEO?" She asked, eager to get answers.
"Sara is an old friend. She is visiting from out of town" Alex answered quickly. Lena didn't miss the quick exchange of looks between the two women. "She is consulting on a case" she added when she noticed Lenas eyebrow twitch.
" What's your expertise?" Lena prodded.
" I dabble in a little bit of everything. Combat. Weapons. Team missions….travel" she added with hesitation. Just as Lena was about to dig deeper the person she had actually come to see interrupted.
"I found some pieces from the gym I think we can use...Lena!" Kara said with a smile as she entered the room cradling a bundle of metal bars. She swiftly made her way to Lena after gently laying them on the practice mats as to not make too much noise.
"Hey love. I wasn't expecting to see you tonight" she said, pecking Lena on quickly on the lips.
"I brought you some dinner since I knew you'd be hungry after training" the girl offered, swirling her fingers around the "HOUSE OF EL" symbol on Karas suit.
"I am hungry. So hungry. Can I pleaseeee eat?" The girl pleaded looking at her older sister.
"Fine. Can you throw these bars together first?" The sentence was barely out of Alex's mouth before Kara was just a blue and red blur. After a few seconds of clanking and some heat vision a tall awkward looking pull up bar stood in the middle of the room. Alex and the new girl slowly migrated toward it as Kara took a seat on the bench.
"You are a lifesaver" the hero exclaimed as she began laying out the food. Lena had made sure to get all the girls favorites.
"Well I just wanted to do something nice since I hadn't seen you all day" she said innocently taking a seat next to the girl.
"To be honest. I was hungover"
"Ohhh. Do explain"
"Well Sara brought...Oh my Rao! I didn't even introduce you two. All I could think about was food" she said blushing, embarrassed at her one track mind.
"It's ok Kara. Alex introduced us. How do you know her?" Still digging for more dirt.
"We met at Barry and Irises wedding. She is a friend of Olivers." She said casually while chewing her food.
" I have no clue who any of those people are" Lena retorted, feeling a little out of the loop.
"They're just family friends. They had a beautiful wedding. I met a lot of their friends. It was a wildddd weekend" she chuckled at the memory. Lena was thoroughly confused. She had never heard of any of these people. What did she mean by "wild weekend".
"Oh. So let me tell you about last night. Sara brought me a special drink that actually got me intoxicated. At first, I didn't take her seriously but after I had 3 I was really feeling it. Now I know why people drink so much! I was just floating on cloud 9. Everything was intensified, but like different. The music and vibrations were almost unbearable when we first got to Cats new club. I thought I was going to have to leave. My senses were just too overwhelmed but once I started drinking it was still a lot but I just didn't care. I started to feel so good."
"Yes Kara. That's what alcohol does to you. Is she a scientist? Did she make something specifically for you?" Her scientific mind genuinely interested now.
"I'm not really sure"
"So you took a drink from a stranger and didn't think about the side effects or consequences?"
"Lena. Sara is not a stranger. She's a good friend. She can be trusted" Kara said softly. The girl knew the Luthor didnt trust easily.
"It's just I've never heard you mention her before. Ever"
"Well she is not from around here. She is just here for a couple days visiting. It just never came up" she shrugged. Lena knew something was off. Neither Kara nor Alex wanted to offer up any extra information on the blonde stranger. Maybe she and Kara had gotten together the wedding weekend. Maybe she was trying to save Lenas feelings. Maybe that's why it was a "wild weekend" Her stream of thoughts were disrupted when the other Danvers sister yelled an expletive.
"Fuck" Lena hadn't been paying attention to the other girls. She was too busy trying to get dirt out of her sweet hungry girlfriend. She looked up to see Alex forking over 50 bucks to the newcomer.
" I told you. It's harder than it looks" Sara said confidently.
"Well I haven't seen you do it" Alex said fussily. The girl simply shrugged before lifting her shirt over her head and tossing it to the ground. Lena watched as Alex's eyes darted down to the girls stomach. No not stomach. The girls six pack. Lena was more intrigued by the scars littering her body. Stab wounds. Whip lashes. Gun shot. Lena couldn't be sure but whatever they were from left many reminders.
Sara gingerly did a small jump grasping at the metal bar running perpendicular to the rest of the contraption. Her feet were now dangling. Hands clasped tightly around the bar. In one fluid jerk and pull action she yanked the bar up to the next rack. Pausing for a second before going to the next one. Then the next one. Lena could see the muscles in her arms bulging out along with her contracting abdominal muscles. It was a sight to see. Very entertaining. When she reached the top the girl simply let go falling at least 9 feet to the soft mat below. Flipping her hair as she turned around triumphantly.
"What a show off" Alex joked, arms crossed as if she wasn't impressed.
"It took me a long time to be able to do that. Years" she said reassuring the other girl.
"Let me try" Kara asked excitedly.
" First of all no. I'm still mad at you for last night. Second, you can fly Kara. It's not really fair" Alex said, glaring at her younger sister.
"It was an accident Alex. No one was hurt" Kara pleaded eyes darting anywhere but Alex's.
" I'm glad no one was hurt but you're not the one who owes Cat grant 10,000$" The girl answered, shaking her head in disappointment.
"10,000$? What did you do?" Lena asked honestly, surprised with her girlfriend. Kara caused a lot of damage while doing her second job as Supergirl but Alex never blamed her for it.
"I may have knocked down one of the walls last night at CLUB BED" the shy hero said quietly as she looked at the ground.
"Kara! You did not. I heard about that on the news"
"Oh yes she did" Alex added to the fire.
" It was an accident! I was drunk and I underestimated my strength. We were standing in line for the bathroom and I had to pee really bad. Someone thought it would be a good idea to tickle me. My reflexes kicked in and I was trying to hit Sara but she ducked" Kara said accusingly.
"So I was supposed to stand there and get hit by a punch that brought down a whole wall. I don't think so"
"Do you have 10,000 dollars to give me?" Alex quipped, turning her anger on the other blonde.
"Would you like that in drachma, aureus, silver coin, denarii, or shillings? As far as modern currency I probably have like 10 bucks" the blonde responded seriously.
" I'll add it to your tab. We should probably call it a night" Alex entered nervously.
"Yes I'm wiped and super full now" Kara added looking down at her nonexistent food baby.
"Sounds good to me. I need to get cleaned up for my date" the newcomer said grimacing at her own sweaty body.
"Date? You have a date? How did you get a date in the 24 hours you've been here?" Kara demanded as she jumped off the bench. Even Alex looked on in shock.
"Cat invited me over to her place for drinks tonight" she said unbothered by Karas interrogation. She dabbed at the sweat on her forehead and stomach with the small workout towel.
"Whoa whoa whoa. My boss Cat, as in Cat Grant invited you over for drinks" Kara continued genuinely confused. Lena was also confused not only by Cats invitation because she had known the woman for years but also by Karas sudden interest in Saras plans.
"Yea. She gave me her business card last night. I texted her this morning and we made plans. My suitcase is at your place so I can swing by and shower then I'll be out of your hair for the evening" still not seeing any conflict in her plans.
" Ummm Cat Grant is straight so I wouldn't plan on staying the night. Ill get you the spare key" Kara offered.
"If you read the texts she's been sending me all day you wouldn't say that. Also I don't need a key. League assassin. Remember?"
"Ok time to go" Alex stated loudly not leaving room for further conversation. The four women hustled out of the training room into the main atrium where only a few agents remained as the work day winded down.
"Well I'm going to head home. My car is in the parking garage" Lena said, breaking the weird tension between the ladies.
"Kara, are you coming over tonight?" Lena added. Kara gently took Lenas arm and led her toward the elevator.
" I think I'm going to stay home tonight since I have company. I don't want to be a bad host." Kara said almost in a whisper.
"Do you want me to come over to your place then?"
"Uhhh. I don't know Lena" looking over her shoulder at the other women.
"I barely got to see you yesterday or today?" The CEO said lowly. She didn't want the other girls to hear her being clingy or needy. This Lena was only reserved for Kara.
"Your right. I'd love your company tonight" Kara leaned forward pressing her lips to Lenas. Karas touch washed away all her worries. All doubts. All she could think about was the warm arm wrapped around her back and the soft lips pressed against hers. Lena didn't know how the literal Girl of Steels body meshed so perfectly with her own. The shorter woman pulled away with a wide grin and turned towards the elevator. The last thing she saw before the elevator doors closed was Kara wrapping her arms around Sara on the balcony of the DEO.
Kara Apartment
After stopping by her condo to grab her overnight bag and driving across town to Kara's apartment it was nearing 10pm. She was hoping the other girl had left so she could enjoy some one on one time with her favorite girl. That thought was cut short as she used the key Kara had given to her to enter the apartment. Her arm shooting up to block her eyes from the bright red light radiating from the kitchen counter. When her eyes adjusted a bit she could see the outline of two figures leaning over the armrest on the couch. Sara had Kara bent over on the armrest with her arms pulled behind her back. The girl was smiling as Kara tried to push back. She was trying to wrestle out of the other girls arm but to no avail she just slumped forward. Lena stepped with purpose to the kitchen as she pushed the red sun lamp off the counter sending it hurdling to the floor. The glass contraption shattered to pieces making a loud crash.
" Oh No. Winn is going to kill me. He snuck this out of inventory for me" Kara exclaimed as she used her super speed to clean up the mess. When she was sure she had all the pieces she stepped in front of Lena taking her hand gently in hers.
"Are you ok? Did you get cut" she said inspecting Lenas hands. The dark haired woman pulled them away abruptly.
"Kara. What the hell are you doing? Why do you have that?" Lena shouted getting more upset.
"We were just fighting. I was trying to make it a more even match" she giggled.
" That's not even funny. You could have been seriously hurt"
"Hey I'm sorry. It was my idea" the other blonde interjected from the living room area trying to ease the tension.
"Excuse me but I was not talking to you. I was talking to my girlfriend" Lena spouted rudely looking straight at the intruder. Saras hand automatically shooting in the air as if to surrender.
"Whoa Lena. That was uncalled for" Kara said stepping in between the CEO and assassin trying to get Lena to look in her eyes.
"Hey I'm just going to head out" Sara said softly grabbing her leather jacket off the back of the loveseat. So low that only Kara could hear she added "Don't wait up for me. Good luck" as she closed the door gently.
"Lena. Hey. I know you're worried about me but I'm fine" she said speaking softly to her girlfriend.
" I just don't get it. First the drinking. Knocking down a wall. People could have been seriously hurt then you put yourself at risk. You could really have been hurt. You could have been attacked. The city could have needed you" Lena ranted as she brushed past Kara.
"Lena I know" Kara said like a child being scolded by their parents.
"Do you? Your new friend comes blowing into town and you lose all sense of responsibility. Kara that is so unlike you"
"I know. I just wanted to have some fun for a change. Let loose" the girl whispered as she pushed her glasses further up her nose. Something she did when she was nervous.
"I always have to be the model for control. I have to watch my every step. My every move as Kara. Making sure I wear my glasses to keep my identity hidden. Use an ounce of strength when shaking peoples hands or opening a door. Even as Supergirl I can't be too rough. I have to hold myself back from crushing a terrorists windpipe. Or not landing too hard because I might literally cause the ground to cave in. I just wanted to know what it felt like not to hold back"
The girl twisted on her feet anxiously looking up to her girlfriend hoping that part of her understood.
"And you don't have to hold back with her?" Lena questioned.
"What? This had nothing to do with Sara" Kara argued.
"Well you didn't start acting like this until she arrived"
"It's always a thought on my mind. Sara kind of just inspired me to try it out. To let loose and I had a fantastic time last night. I just felt like another girl out with friends"
"Kara I'm glad you had a good time but think if someone had gotten hurt last night. You would never forgive yourself. I know it feels like you're free when you drink but all it does is lower your inhibitions. You're still just as strong and fast but the alcohol makes you not give a damn. If she was your real friend she wouldn't let you go out in that state. She wouldn't use the red lamp to weaken you and make you susceptible to harm. I'm not a fan of hers"
"Lena please. If you just took time to get to know her.."
"I don't really want to. She hasn't left a very good impression at all and she's all over you" Lena said turning away from Kara.
"Wait what? All over me. Lena, we were fighting" Kara explained.
"I meant at the club"
" How do you…?"
"I saw pictures on the news. She got you drunk then was all over you all night"
"I invited you out"
"When I ask about her, you and Alex both act all sketchy. You talked about having a wild weekend when y'all met. Then when she had plans with Cat you got all protective. She makes you do dumb things which usually people do when they want to impress someone. She is staying at your place and not Alex's even though she is here consulting for the DEO. She says some really…."
Her rant about Sara was cut off abruptly with Karas lips. The other girl had been slowly approaching the CEO as to not scare her. Lena continued to mumble Into the kiss for a few seconds before her facade softened. She took control of the kiss letting Kara know she wasn't backing down.
" Lena. There is no need to be jealous" Kara said as she leaned out of the kiss.
"Jealous? I'm not jealous" Lena said loudly, still trying to catch her breath from the long kiss.
"It kind of sounds like you're jealous" Kara said with a small smile.
" I'm not. I'm just not a fan of new people" she said as if it were a fact.
"Lets sit down and I will explain" Kara said leading the other girl to the couch. Kara held Lenas hand as she tried in the best manner to explain about the wedding weekend. Barry and Iris. How Sara and her team moved heaven and earth to help save her life from Nazis. All about the evil doppelgängers. How Alex and Sara hooked up so she was doing her sisterly duty by housing Sara so her sister didn't fall into bad habits. How Sara's girlfriend just dumped her so she was trying to show her good time in National City to distract her from the breakup. That she was apprehensive about Sara going to see Cat because she didn't want the girl to do something she would regret. That Sara is just naturally a flirtatious person. She happened to leave out a few parts like all these people were from another earth and that Sara is the captain of a time traveling ship with a band of misfits. She didn't want the scientist's head to blow off.
"Wow"
"Yea it's a lot" she said scratching the back of her neck
"I know you don't trust easily but I at least thought I had gained your trust by now" Kara said sadly.
"It's not you. This is all my fault. I've never had a serious relationship Kara. You have this other life I know nothing about. All these friends and adventures. I guess I just got scared. I just became a part of team super and I feel like I've missed a lot. Especially super hot secretive friends who come to visit.
"You think Sara is hot?" the blonde questioned.
"She is a knockout but you're my favorite blonde. No. My favorite girl ever" the CEO added winking at the girl.
"Just don't tell her that. She already has a big head" they giggled together.
"Lena next time something like this is bothering you can we just talk about it? It could save both of us a lot of stress" she said jokingly but on a serious note this whole ordeal had caused the girl some distress.
"I will try to communicate my thoughts with you. I will also give your friend another chance" she said shyly remembering how rude she had been.
"I would really like that. She actually gave me the best idea" Kara said excitedly.
"We should use the red sun lamp...in the bedroom" Kara said coyly.
"That is a good idea. I'd be too worried about threats though"
" I know. I know. But I figured if anyone can figure something out it would be you. I really want to feel all of you. All over me" the girl said shyly. Kara was the shy one when it came to intimacy so Lena was surprised at her initiative.
"I'm sure we could work something out" Lena said as she pushed the super back on the couch. She easily made it on top of Kara with a leg on each side of the girl's thighs. Straddling her middle. Karas breath hitched as she felt the pressure on her nether regions. Just happy to put this whole ordeal behind them she eagerly awaited as Lena laid on top of her body bringing her lips to hers. Her hands gripped Lenas hips loosely making sure not to put too much pressure. Lena moaned into her mouth as their movements became more erratic. Kara put her leg up between Lenas legs eliciting a small gasp from the girl on top. Lena ground her pelvis down wanting more pressure. Kara wanted more. She sat up easily pushing the other girl up. With both hands she grabbed around Lenas thighs and stood up. Lena giggled but was not surprised by Kara's strength anymore. Even though she was the thinnest thing Lena knew Kara could literally pummel a building to a pile of rubble. Kara rounded the couch pausing to sit Lena on the back of the sofa because she couldn't wait any longer for those lips to be on her again. They continued making out until both were topless and breathing heavily. Lena's usual pale skin covered in pink. Kara was just about to lift Lena to take her to the bedroom when a blue portal opened up in front of the TV. Going straight into defense mode Kara let go of Lena who fell back onto the cushions flailing. Lena squealed in shock as she slammed down on the couch unexpectedly. Her head now upside down, she could see what Kara did.
"Holy Fuck! Is that a trans dimensional portal?" Lena drooled reaching her hands out towards the bright blue light. Before Kara could reign her in a figure stepped through. Both women froze as a tall gorgeous woman walked through. The mystery girl had long blonde wavy hair, green eyes with specks of hazel, high cheekbones, and was rocking out a navy blue suit blazer.
" Hello, I am Ava Sharpe director of the time bureau. I am looking for Captain Sara Lance" she said professionally standing in a military stance with her hands behind her back.
"Uh. She's not here. I mean she was but she left" Kara uttered with hesitation.
"Damn it Gary!" She said, stomping her foot.
"My apologies for ruining your evening. If you see Sara will you let her know I'm sorry and to please come home. Her team needs her. I need her" almost whispering the last part. The portal closed around her as she stepped back into the bright light. The room went silent as the whistling from the portal disappeared.
"Did you see that?" Lena squealed.
" I can't even begin to...I mean… the possibilities...I don't even know where to start. Wait. DId you know about this?" Lena said, flipping herself over to face Kara who was still standing behind the couch. She simply shrugged.
"That's what you meant when you said out of town?" The woman yelled as she stood up on the opposite side of the couch. Again Kara just shrugged as she slowly began walking backwards to the bedroom.
"You know what? It's been a long day. I'm pretty tired" she said, her eyes avoiding Lenas gaze.
"Oh no you don't. I have so many questions. Where does that portal go? Where is Sara from? What stabilizing material do they use to keep the portal from crashing in on itself" she blurted continuously as she followed Kara into the bedroom.
"Leeeennnaaa go to sleeeppp" Kara begged 3 hours later as the Luther still mused about this new discovery of time travelers, the multiverse, and that somewhere there was an infinite amount of Kara Danvers to love.
