The Squid slid forward, as a small wave formed in front of him.
BAM!
Mirii flew backwards, as she landed on her back.
"You are not the real Mirii!" Hun frowned. "She would get hurt, if she touched my blue ink with her magenta one."
... eh eh eh... I was afraid you would never guess my trick...
Mirii tilted upwards, as her arms went on her sides and her feet stood on the floor. Her eyes were closed and her head lowered. Hun was frowning, while staring back at the girl. She rose up in the air, followed by the Squid's sight.
Meet one of the many creations I have in my arsenal...! This puppet shouldn't be hurt, though...
"You expect me to believe another lie from you?" Hun growled. "Stop lying to me, please!"
Bah... even though you are not as guillable as I wanted, I can still splat you easily...
The puppet tilted its body towards Hun, as it dived at a high speed. The Squid bended on himself, while pointing his head towards the living item. He sprung from the ground, while spinning, as the puppet passed below it.
"Oh no!" His irises moved down. "I have to look better at my target!"
The puppet flew back up, while turning behind and looking down at the Squid.
You would do better by standing still and let yourself get splatted...
"Never!" Hun's eyes squeezed.
The puppet dived back down at the same high speed. Hun bended on himself...
The living item turned slighty up, while going to pass the Squid from above.
... NO!
Hun jumped, while standing below the puppet and spinning.
BUMF!
The item flew upward, gradually stopping in midair, before falling back down.
PAMF!
The back impacted on the ground: the arms flew off, the neck's lower-left side strapped off and several pieces of wood jumped out from the item. Hun's face went paler.
"... luckily, she wasn't the real Mirii..." He sighed silently.
Your appearance and behavior is truly hindering you from being a predator...
The puppet was slowly sinking inside the ground.
Vvuuuuuumm!
A large puff of smoke appeared near the wooden wall situated on the arena's other side. The lizard walked out of it, while sticking his tongue out for a moment.
"No more games..." His head turned slightly to the left, as his eyes flashed.
Hun frowned, while turning his head towards him.
"... I will not let your predator side emerge..." The lizard bended forward, while frowning.
"I don't even wish to be one, whoever you are!" Hun began sliding forward.
The Squid's sliding speed was increasing more and more, while the creature was standing still.
"... my name is Thorn..." Smoke surrounded him, followed by a loud noise.
Hun stopped, as he jumped backwards and dived inside his ink.
FUM!
Thorn was falling towards the ground.
THUMP!
His large feet stomped on the floor, as the blue ink and Hun jumped away from it: the ink disappeared, while the Squid was yelping with the eyes closed. The lizard rushed towards him, as he spun counter-clockwise and swung his tail.
PAF!
Hun flew towards the wall, slamming against it. Slowly, the Squid began sliding down with his eyes squeezed.
"... almost too easy..." Thorn walked towards Hun. "... give me a challenge..."
The Squid fell on the floor, as his head shook. His eyes opened, watching the lizard walking towards him.
"N-no!" Sweat jumped out from Hun's head. "D-don't eat me!"
Thorn's large jaw opened, as he dived forward. The Squid jumped on the wall, while the lizard landed on the ground with his stomach. Hun's head went paler, as he kept jumping on the wall. Thorn bounced, as he returned down and slammed the floor with both his feet: the Squid sprung out of the wall, together with the ink. The lizard's mouth opened wide, while pointing his head on Hun.
Small tears formed below Hun's eyes, as he began spinning on himself. Thorn jumped on his right side, as the Squid impacted on the floor and immediately slid forward. The lizard turned behind and began running after Hun, while stepping on his blue ink.
"What can I do to stop him?!" Hun's irises moved left and right.
Vuuuumm!
Hun stopped, as he twisted behind and seeing his blue ink trail.
Vuuuumm!
From the smoke appearing behind the Squid, Thorn was gliding in midair and moving towards him, while keeping his mouth open. Hun twisted behind and slid immediately after: the lizard's eyes expanded. The Squid jumped below his stomach, while spinning.
BAM!
Thorn flew away, landing on his back and with his stomach covered in blue ink.
"One more hit and Mirii is free!" Hun slid rapidly towards the lizard.
He jumped, while spinning in midair: Thorn rolled to his left, as the smoke surrounded him. Hun hit the ground, as his eyes expanded. The lizard's head was pointed at the Squid, as his eyes flashed. Hun's eyes closed, as he flipped forward and slid rapidly, while slowly turning to his left.
BUMF!
His head slammed against the wooden wall, as his eyes reopened widely while his irises shrunk.
"Ooooh..." Small squids were sliding on a green circle, above his head.
Thorn jumped upwards, landing on his feet. He turned behind.
"I can't say your luck helped you in this fight... but the end of this battle is coming..."
Hun's head shook, as his eyes blinked. His sight tracked the lizard being covered by a thick shadow. He frowned, as he bended on himself and charged after him, with a wave covering the tip of his head. Thorn swung his shadowy tail, rapidly stretching towards the Squid's left side.
Hun jumped above it, as he spun in midair and hit the lizard's nose. Thorn rolled, before landing on his stomach and staying down: a snort left his mouth, before his jaw closed. Hun returned into his humanoid form, as he watches over the shadowy creature.
"… I really did, this time…!" He smiled a bit. "I saved Mirii…!" His eyes closed.
