"Aaaah!"

Mirii's right arm moved in front of her eyes, as her teeth gritted and her feet were slowly stepping backwards.

"Yo-you fiend…! I have noticed that flash in your eyes…!"

Her feet stopped, as her mouth sealed for a moment.

"What do you seek from me?! Answer!" Her eyebrows went down.

She took a loud breath with her mouth.

"… hmpf. If he thinks that I would lower my guard as easily, then he"

"Mirii?!"

Her right arm lowered, immediately seeing Lisa walking towards her, with a smile on her face. She stopped in front of the girl, as her left hand waved left and right. Mirii's mouth opened, while still staring back at Lisa for at least 2 seconds, before turning her head around.

"Where is that sealizard?!" Her head rose, pointing her irises towards the woman. "He appeared in front of me, just a second ago…"

Lisa chuckled a bit. Mirii frowned, as a vein popped out from her head.

"Even with that creature around, you still find the time to joke around? Pathetic." Her head lowered. "If you cannot help me, then I"

"Mirii, he's not around here…" Lisa's eyes closed. "… he fought Master Hun and lose the battle!"

Mirii's eyes expanded, as her head tilted back to neutral position. Her right arm stretched towards the woman and her right forefinger pointed at her face.

"What nonsense are you mumbling?! How did he fought Hunley and lose the battle in such short period of time?!"

"Because it wasn't a short period of time..." Lisa's eyelids lowered to the middle, while her smile grew. "... you were petrified, before."

"Ridiculous!" Mirii bended forward, as her eyes expanded, her irises shrunk and her right arm retreated back. "I lifted my arm in front of my eyes!"

"Not in time, apparently..." Lisa's right hand shook her fan, opening it, as her right arm rose and brought the fan in front of her mouth. "Mortals are more sensible than Shrine citizens." Her eyes closed. "Even the time it takes to be petriefed is lower... almost instantanously!"

Mirii's posture lifted, while still bending slightly backwards: sweat formed on her forehead, as her mouth showed her teeth and her eyebrows were a bit down.

"Nnnggh... b-being petrified just like that...!" More sweat formed on her forehead. "... nnngghh!"

"Don't think too much about it..." Her right arm lowered, while keeping her eyes shut. "It happened to others too!"

Lisa's eyes reopened: the girl eyes' expanded, as her face went paler. The woman's tentacles went zig-zag, as her shoulders rose.

"M-Master Hun never got petrified, actually!" Sweat jumped out from her shaking head. "In fact, h-he saved me from that monster and even followed him inside his arena."

"AND YOU HAD THE NERVES OF NOT FOLLOWING HIM?!" Mirii's hands picked her tentacles, as they pulled them violently.

"I-I couldn't! I swear!" Lisa nodded, as her eyebrows went up and her mouth downturned. "That creature was menacing Master Hun into leaving you in your statue-like state, if he refused to face him in a battle..."

Mirii's eyes grew a bit, looking back at the woman for 3 seconds... before blushing.

"H-he faced that fiend... b-because he wanted to save me...?" Her mouth stood open.

"In order to free a Squid from his spell, you have to weaken him... Master Hun succeeded, since you are now talking to me!" Lisa's eyes closed, as she smiled.

Mirii's mouth closed, as her eyes blinked twice.

"... where is Hunley, now...?" She began turning around, as her right hand went over her right tentacle, caressing it.

"... good question." Lisa's eyebrows went a bit down, as her mouth went neutral. "He went in that direction." Her right hand pointed her fan towards a path in between a bush and a tree, covered in darkness. "But other than that, I have no idea."

Mirii growled, while keeping her mouth closed and staring back at the woman.

"... you must be capable of sensing Hunley, aren't you?!" Mirii's right forefinger pointed at Lisa, while her right arm stretched towards her. "Use your scanning powers!"

"What I'm sensing is just a huge void..." Lisa shrugged, as her head shook. "... we have to look for him, by walking in the same direction he went and hoping to find"

"There must be a clue who can tell us the correct path." Mirii's arms folded, as her head rose. "In such situation, I want clarity and NOT luck." Her eyes squeezed a bit. "Not to mention, I intend using my intelligence, since I"

"And what if we are not finding any clues?" Lisa frowned. "Do you want to waste your time, by looking too much into a senseless pattern?!"

"... hmm..." Mirii's eyes closed. "Perhaps, we should bring with us an army of Shrine citizens." Her head nodded, as her eyes opened. "As I recall, Hunley didn't come in here, alone..."

"They could be anywhere!" Lisa's arms opened wide. "... but I could track down their thoughts..."

"And why this feature cannot be used for Hunley?!" Mirii's head lowered, as she frowned and opened her eyes, pointing her irises towards the woman.

Several sweat drops appeared behind Lisa's head.

"I-I forgot..." She grins a bit, as her eyebrows went up. "... besides, we don't really use Telepathy on our Masters, unless we are invited for such dialogue." She nodded. "It's one of the many formalities we"

"We don't need to stick on mere formalities, in such urgent situations." Mirii's head rose, as her arms folded. "If you can track Hunley down, then use this feature immediately."

"... sigh..." Lisa's eyelids went on the middle, as her mouth flattened slightly. "... follow me."

The woman began walking past the girl, as Mirii turned towards Lisa. Soon after, she began walking and follow the woman.

"I have to check that application store and hope to find a tool for searching Squids..." Mirii's face frowned slightly. "... I will make sure to never depend on such foo-GAH!" Her eyes expanded, as her irises shrunk. "I-I mean, I hope that Hunley is alright...!" Her eyes closed, as she cleared her voice with her mouth shut.
