Hun frowned, as his right foot slid forward, while his right knee bended. His fists clenched.
THUMP!
Lisa jumped, while turning behind and seeing a wooden wall.
"Your disgusting quest for power is over."
Hun's head turned to his right, as Mirii's feet stopped on his right side. She snorted, as her head shook.
"No matter what form you are using... you will never win against perfection." Her right forefinger pointed at the monster, as her right arm stretched in the same direction. "Prepare yourself, as I will deliver your requested punishment!"
"Your words are interesting..." Thorn snarled. "... I would like to hear them, when I will munch your head!"
He jumped rapidly towards the girl, as Mirii sprung backwards while frowning. Hun turned into a Squid, as he slid to his left. Thorn landed on the ground, while Lisa was holding Mirii's fan with her left hand.
"Mirii! Catch!" Her left arm swung, throwing the fan towards the girl.
Mirii twisted behind, picking the fan handle with her right hand. Thorn was rushing towards Mirii with all fours, as Hun was rapidly sliding towards him, while keeping a wave in front of his head. The girl spun counter-clockwise, as the lizard stopped and got hit on his right side, by Hun's head. He flew a bit to the left, before turning behind and highly jumping towards the wall.
His right claws went through the wall, as his feet rested on its surface. His mouth closed, as his cheeks puffed and his eyes expanded. Suddenly, he bended forward while spitting a large purple blob, flying towards Hun. The Squid slid to his right, as the blob exploded once it impacted on the floor. From the purple stain, a smaller version of the lizard rose, as it rushed away from the spot and ran towards the Squid: its steps were printing smaller footsteps on the regular floor.
Thorn's mouth closed again, as his cheeks puffed. Mirii's right arm began waving rapidly, pointing her fan towards the stain: magenta ink covered the fan, as dropets fell on the purple spot, covering it. Lisa rushed past the girl, as Thorn spitted out another purple blob towards Mirii. The girl sprinted to her left, as the blob hit the ground and exploded into a purple liquid.
Hun was sliding towards the wooden wall, as he jumped on it and began climbing. The small lizard stopped, as its head rose.
SPLAT!
A large magenta ink stain was in place of the creature, while Lisa was keeping her right arm stretched sideways. Thorn jumped away from the wall, as Hun passed behind him. Mirii was waving her magenta-covered fan towards the purple stain, while a magenta ink spot was standing behind her. The lizard landed in front of the girl, as his jaw opened.
Mirii panted, as she jumped backwards and lowered her right arm. Thorn closed his jaw, as he rushed towards the girl.
"Hmmm...! Tired prey...!" His mouth opened again.
"I can still fight for hours!" Mirii small-jumped forward, as her right arm swung and her fan was moving towards the lizard.
PAF!
Thorn stopped, while his head was tilting towards his right side. Mirii's eyes expanded, as her irises rested on her non-covered fan.
"... your fan is saying otherwise..." Slowly, Thorn turned his head towards the girl, while grinning widely.
Hun was sliding towards the monster, while frowning.
"Master, wait!" Lisa's right arm stretched over the Squid. "Mirii has a different ink color than yours! You could splat her by accident!"
"Oh!" Hun stopped, as his eyes expanded. "You are right...!"
Thorn's arms rose up in the air, as several clones of him appeared in a circular line, surrounding Mirii. The girl turned around, seeing nothing but Thorns.
"Ah...! I would get myself hurt, if I accidentally hit the real one... or are all those real?!" The top of Hun's eyes "smiled".
Lisa frowned, as she rushed past the Squid and stretched her right arm backwards, while grasping her fan tightly.
"Attack him! All of them!" She roared. "We can't let him trick us like nothing!"
"Nnnnnggghh!" Mirii's hands grasped her fan, as sweat covered her forehead and her irises kept tilting right and left, while her teeth gritted. "I must recover my energy, before"
The Thorns marched towards the girl, as the woman swung her fan towards the middle-right one.
POOF!
The other lizards turned behind, staring back at Lisa. They all rushed towards her, as Hun came from the right side and jumped, while spinning.
POOF!
A Thorn swung his claw over the woman: Lisa's eyes squeezed, as her mouth flattened. Mirii's eyes were seeing his claw passing through the woman: her mouth opened wide.
"Those clones are-OOF!" Her arms were picked by Thorn's hands.
Lisa's right eye opened, seeing a Thorn looking back at her.
"MIRII!" Hun frowned, while looking at the lizard pulling the girl backwards.
POOF! POOF!
One by one, the clones exploded into a giant puff of dark-purple smoke. The woman was looking at the dissolving smoke, before staring back at the lizard: his left hand picked Mirii's stomach, as he lifted her in the air. Mirii began screaming, as she kicked the air and shook her arms.
"One more step and the girl becomes a delicious meat..." His head turned over the Squid and Lisa.
"D-don't hurt her, please!" Hun returned back into his humanoid form, as his eyebrows were up and his mouth downturned. "I-I will give you anything if"
"Silence." Thorn's head pointed over Lisa. "... it's time I pick my prize..."
Lisa's eyes squeezed a bit.
"You... you want to splat me, don't you?"
"I wouldn't mind eating those other preys too... but yoouuu..." Saliva came out from Thorn's opened mouth. "... you are the meal I should had consumed a long time ago..."
Lisa grimaces and kept her expression for at least 3 seconds: her left shoulder rose and her left hand pushed her left tentacle from below.
"… I would never guess you were a huge coward, at the end." She snorted. "Thinking to hide behind a hostage… yes, something a true coward would do." Her head shook. "I don't think I would ever be scared of you, anymore…"
"Eh eh eh… ah ah ah ah!" Thorn grinned. "Your words are making yourself weaker…"
Mirii's head was tilted towards the lizard, as she was yelping a bit. Her head turned around, as her eyes caught a glimpse of magenta. Her irises turned over the fan, which was covered in ink. Her mouth opened.
"… and weak preys are the most sweet for my palate…" Thorn's voice was coming from below the girl.
Mirii frowned, as her head tilted back over the lizard.
"… I'm going to enjoy this moment of victory, as I'll remember it… for the eternity!" His jaw opened wide.
SWISH!
Mirii's fan hit Thorn's top of his head, as his left hand opened wide and the girl fell from it. Once her feet touched the ground, Mirii turned behind and kept swinging her fan towards the lizard's head, multiple times, while growling and grunting. Thorn's hands were covering his face.
"No one ever dares to pick up perfection, like an useless box!" She was frowning a lot, while gritting her teeth.
The lizard's right leg stretched towards the girl's stomach and kicked it loudly. Mirii flew backwards, while screaming and following an arc trajectory.
"MIRIIIII!" Hun turned behind, as he sprinted and pointed his head on the flying girl.
Mirii landed on her back, as she slid for some meters before stopping: her eyes were squeezing and her mouth was yelping, with her teeth exposed. Hun slowed his pace, until he stopped on Mirii's right side. He immediately lowered his knees down and put his hands below her shoulders, lifting her slightly.
Lisa bended forward, while frowning and shaking her fan wide open: Thorn's cheeks puffed, as his eyes grew. He spit a purple blob towards the woman.
"Now!" Lisa's right arm stretched backwards, as her fan changed its color into a glass-like one. "The moment I was waiting for!" She frowned. "Eat this! Once and for all!" Her right arm swung, as her fan hit the blob and pushed it back.
The projectile was sharing the same color as the fan.
"NOOO!" Thorn's arms went over-
SPLAT!
An unknown liquid landed on the floo. Lisa was panting, watching the substance melting into nothingness.
"… is it… over?" Her mouth closed for a brief moment. "Is he… splatted for good…?"
"You did it, Lisa!"
The woman's mouth opened: she turned behind, seeing Hun wrapping his left arm behind Mirii's shoulders: both the girl's arms were hugging his stomach, as her right eye was closed, her eyebrows down and her left eye semi-opened. The boy was smiling, as he nodded.
"You saved us all!" His eyes closed.
"Ah… … eh eh!" Lisa grins, as her eyes closed. "Just as I predicted with my pond!"
"Oh?" Hun's mouth opened a bit, as his eyelids went all the way up.
"Eh eh eh!" Lisa's right fan went in front of her mouth, as her eyelids lowered to the middle. "Yes, Master Hun… did I told you that I came in here, because I predicted how in the future you would need my help?"
"Really?!" Hun's eyes expanded. "Why haven't you told that to us"
"Because the others wouldn't listen!" Lisa's head shook, as she shrugged and slightly stretched her arms sideways. "I couldn't force you into listening to me, since… well, we are not allowed to change your mind."
"Oh… bu-but I would had believe in you!" The boy nodded.
"If I told you the future… then we would run at the risk of changing it into a bad one!" Her wrists went on her sides. "But hey, I kept the situation under control for all this time!" Her eyes closed, while simply smiling. "I just needed to wait the right moment to use my trick on my sleeve."
"… your statements are spawning so many questions, I wouldn't even bother uncovering the truth behind your actions…" Mirii's right eye opened to the middle.
"Ah ah ah!" Lisa's head tilted upwards, while her eyes closed. "Just the type of envy I wanted to hear!" She grinned, as her head tilted back down. "Face it: once we are going back to the Shrine, I will be the one gladly announcing the defeat of that"
PUUUAAAUUUMMM!
The two young Inklings twisted behind, with their eyes expanded: Thorn was standing in front of a huge, orb-like item, which was emanating thunders and a loud electrical sound. The lizard had bruises and wounds spread around him. Some spikes behind his hack had the tip broken off.
"NO!" Lisa's face went paler, as she took some steps backwards. "You… YOU WERE SPLATTED! I-I SAW THAT!"
The creature turned behind, as he walked inside the orb.
VUUUUUUAAAAAAAA-AAAAAAUUMM!
Thorn was falling inside the orb, going deeper and deeper. Hun's mouth opened wide. Slowly, his left arm retreated back, as he bended
"Hunley, what are you doing?!" Mirii frowned, as her arms were grasping his stomach tightly.
"Mirii, we can't let him escape like that!" Hun's eyebrows went up, as his head turned over Mirii's face. "He's going to attack more innocents… and he will get away with it, if we are not"
"No, we can't follow him inside an unknown orb!" Mirii's head shook. "He's gone, Hunley… he will never return, ever again!"
Hun kept looking at the girl: his mind was seeing Mirii as a statue. His face went paler, as his irises shrunk.
"… I-I must go…!" He began pushing a bit.
"Hunley, stop!" The girl was pulling back. "There is no need"
"I must go, Mirii!" Hun shook around, as his eyes squeezed. "He's dangerous! He's going to attack again!"
"Master, forget him!" Lisa walked past the two, stopping in front of Hun and putting her hands on his shoulders. "You don't have to risk your life for seeing him truly splatted! Think about the Shrine citizens! Think about your little sister!" She frowned a bit. "Do you want to make her worry this much?!"
Hun was panting, as his head was tilting up. Mirii's eyebrows went up, as her mouth downturned.
"Let's go back home, Hunley… we have more important tasks to accomplish… please…"
Hun sealed his mouth, as he kept his previous pose for a brief while.
"Mirii… I'm sorry. I-I was out of control." His head turned towards the girl.
Mirii smiled.
"You were never out of control, Hunley." Her eyes cloed. "It was your kindness, who was making you consider the action… and I would never punish those Squids who are kind and gentle, like you."
Hun smiled. Lisa's hands went away from his shoulders, as Mirii's arms were returning to her sides. The woman walked in between the two, while smiling.
"Well!" Her eyes were staring at the wooden wall. "I got tired of this place… any idea on how we are going to escape this arena?"
Mirii turned to her left, as her head rose.
"We are going to inspect those walls"
Suddenly, step noises rose in the air. The girl twisted 180°, staring at Hun rushing towards the orb.
"HUNLEY! STOP!" She began running after him. "STOOOP!" Her right arm stretched towards him.
"MASTER!" Lisa was looking at the two, as her hands went each on a cheek.
The boy jumped, diving inside the orb.
"HUUUNNNLLEEEEYYY!" Mirii jumped towards the orb, now surrounded by a tone-changing blue background.
Thunders kept crackling around the girl, as she kept pushing her limbs backwards. Slowly, she was reaching Hun. He turned behind, as his eyes expanded.
"M-Mirii!" His arms opened.
The girl's arms wrapped around him, as Hun's upper limbs hugged her back. Both were screaming, falling more and more through the tunnel.
