"… what happened during my absence…? Why I can't return inside the Headquarters…?"
Mirii's head was tilting upwards, as her eyes were pointed at the ceiling and a small towel was positioned on the top of her head, while her long tentacles were immersed inside the hot water.
"What role I earned for that matter? Am I not… an Agent, anymore?"
Her right hand waved a bit on the hot water's surface.
"After that entire journey I went through, I really prefer having more free time to spend with Hunley. Having a walk with him around the city… even visiting a new location in the city..."
Her eyes closed.
"Hmmmm... luckily I'm taking this hot bath... otherwise, I would still be dealing with that huge stress."
She smiled a bit.
"I could spend hours enjoying this nice, relaxing experience…"
Her shoulders slowly rose and lowered in an alternate pattern.
"... but not even those nice waters are keeping my duty at bay."
Her eyes opened.
"It's time to take a shower... besides, I'm tired of taking a hot bath alone."
The girl stands up, as water droplets fell from her body. Mirii turned behind, as her right leg rose and her right foot stepped on the nearby board. After lifting herself up, the girl began walking to her right side. Her right hand picked her small towel, as she delicately rubs it on her chest.
"Uhm… speaking of not wanting to be alone…" Her irises moved to her right. "Once I have done with the shower, I should warn Hunley in some way…"
She blushes, while walking below a shoji-shaped arc.
"I can't really walk inside his private hot bath section…" Her face frowned a bit. "Not to mention, I can't even ask the staff to call him for me… even by not knowing all the rules, it's not hard to imagine how my actions would violate at least three of them…" Her irises pointed at a mirror.
A hand held shower was hanging on the mirror's right side, while two products were standing vertically, located on a small stone-made surface: the platform was attached to the wall, with the mirror positioned above it. The product on the left has the word "Soap" on it, while the one on the right has the word "Shampoo".
The girl kept walking towards the mirror, as her eyelids lowered to the middle.
"Sigh… with such equipment, I could dedicate hours for my hygiene and care needs." Her right hand was carrying her wet towel away.
Her hand opened, as the towel fell inside a wicker furniture basket.
"But I must make it quick." A sweat drop appeared on Mirii's right side of her head. "Tonna is going to call me in any second, by now… I can't be forced to pick up my smartphone and talk with her, while I'm inside the changing room."
The girl sits down, as her right hand picked her hand held shower. Her left hand went over the tap, located below the rock surface: she tilted it upwards, gently, as Inkling water flew out of the shower. Mirii's eyes closed, as the water was covering her.
"I wouldn't mind frequenting this Shrine." Her eyes closed, as she smiled a bit. "The service and environment condition are probably the best I have seen yet…"
Her left hand went over the shampoo, as her left thumb pushed its top: a semi-solid yellowish liquid came from its beak, landing on her left hand.
"I have said it once… and still to this day, I'm fully convinced about such judgement." Her left hand began rubbing her head, sliding over each tentacle. "However, I can't forget that Onsen I visited once with my brother and mother…"
She giggled, as her left hand returned over the shampoo product.
"I don't know why, but… its simplicity really left a big impression in my mind." Her left hand passed on her head, once more. "How can I forget the days I spent a large amount of time, talking about it with Rof... I wonder if he still remembers such thing."
Her left hand hovered now towards the soap, taking its light-greenish liquid in the same manner as before.
"… ah!" Her eyes opened wide, as her irises shrunk.
The water hit her right side, as her left hand was still holding the liquid soap.
"Curses! He hasn't heard me for an entire week!" Her eyebrows went up. "How could I forget him like that?! Am I being manipulated by some kind of unknown curse?!"
Rapidly, her left hand went on her chest, rubbing it quickly before going over her shoulders. The girl took the soap again, while the water was hitting the lather-covered part of her body. Once more, Mirii took more soap: her left hand went over her legs, rubbing them with the same rhythm.
"I-I'm sorry, brother…!" Her irises shrunk. "It wasn't… me…" Her teeth gritted. "You know I could never ignore such wonderful sibling! It was a sabotage! A ridiculous attempt to undermine my perfection!"
Her left hand landed on the tap, pushing it back. She stands up, immediately twisting and walking away from the mirror, while drenching with Inkling water all over her body. Her eyes were instantly looking at a pair of hairdryer-like tools, hanging each on a small wooden platform, attached to the wall on the left.
Mirii stopped, as her right hand picked the cream-colored one, which was located below the lime variety: her right thumb pushed its large button upwards.
Vvvvvvvssss…
An increasingly warming air was blowing out from the item's muzzle, as the girl moved it above her head, while her right wrist bended and pointed the muzzle directly on the top of her head. In quick movements, the device was blowing its hot air over Mirii's long and short tentacles… even hitting her chest, stomach, back and her legs.
"Nnnnngghh… s-stop worrying, Mirii… n-no one is seeing me breaking all the body-cleaning rules…" Her irises were as small as dots, as her eyes were wavy and a slim stream of tears was coming from each eye. Her mouth was waving. "And… a-and at the end, it doesn't matter! R-Rof is more important than an insignificant, tried method!" Her eyebrows lowered, while keeping her previous expression. "Yes, I said it! I WILL NOT CHANGE MY MIND!"
Her right hand was grasping the tool even more, while shaking.
"Nnnnggh… nnnnnnnnngggghhh!"
Her right arm was moving rapidly, while pointing her tool all over her body, as her eyes closed in a wavy line.
"Done! IT'S DONE! GET OVER IT!" Her right thumb slid the button down, as her right hand moved the tool over the lowest small platform.
She sprinted to her right so fast, Mirii is already in front of several wooden boxes, each having a number on their middle. Her left arm stretched over the "7" box, as her left hand grabbed the handle on its right side and pulled its small door.
Her hands were already catching a larger towel, as it went all over her head and body. Her irises kept bouncing on the sides, as sweat was jumping out from her head.
"No one on sight… m-my reputation is saved!" She swallowed silently. "Uff… uff…" Her eyes closed. "Now I just need to put my clothes"
Her eyes expanded, as her hands stopped: her white towel was covering her body's front side.
"… I told the staff to pick my clothes inside my room, thanks to that paper still present on my floor… did they came?!" Her face went paler, as her neck bended towards the opened box. "No… I-I don't want to go around without any clothes"
Her mouth opened, before smiling. Her left hand was holding her towel, as her right hand went away from it, touching a cloth.
"Clean underwear! I'm safe from a terrible humiliation" Her opened mouth took off her smile, as her eyebrows lowered a bit. "What's that cloth?"
Her left hand pulled her towel on her left shoulder, as her hand went inside the box and lifted, together with the right one, a cloth with a floral pattern on it.
"Isn't that a… kimono?" Her eyes closed. "… yes, I can feel the silk…"
She shivered.
"… it's better than nothing!" Her hands retreated, as her right hand landed on her towel and pulled it off.
Her left hand went on the towel, as both were rubbing the material over Mirii's body.
"This surely begs a question… but I will ask it later: I have to talk with my brother, first!" She frowned a bit.
