"Curses… that entire act I did was for nothing!"

Mirii's eyebrows went up, as her mouth downturned. Her head was tilted downwards. She was wearing her previous clothes.

"Such wonderfully-made piece of cloth would had been a key element to use, whenever I wanted to send the best impressions…" Her eyes closed.

"Something wrong, Mirii?"

Her head rose back, as her eyes opened and looked at Hun with his mouth downturned.

"No, Hunley…" Her head shook slowly. "… I'm fine…"

"Ah, you are both ready!"

Mirii turned to her right, seeing the two twins walking towards them. They both stopped, as their hands went each down.

"Unfortunately, we cannot assist you." Eri frowned a bit. "We have been called by the other members of the High Council…"

"Not for a discussion, but to be judges for a philosophical test." A sweat drop appears on Emi's left side of her head.

"Aren't you too young to be judges?" Mirii's arms folded, as her head rose.

"Like the other judges, we represent a category." Eri snorted. "The youth category."

"That would be how the youth sees such philosophy." Emi nodded, while smiling.

Mirii's eyes squeezed a bit.

"Alright, listen carefully." Eri turned behind, as her right "goofy" forefinger pointed at a shoji in the distance. "Kelly is usually in that room over there. That's the place where she practices her dance."

"Me and Eri find her in that room, all the time!" Emi chuckled. "And we stop by, watching her dancing"

"Now you are getting too chatty, like usual!" Eri turned over her sister, as her mouth opened and showed her small teeth. "Stop gossip our habits!"

Emi's eyelids lowered to the middle, as her mouth formed a ^.

"But it's perfectly fine saying the habits of the others…?"

"That wasn't even gossip, Emi!" Eri's arms opened wide. "If they wouldn't know that the room is constantly used by Kelly, how would they know where she is?!"

"You could had just said 'Kelly usually stays in there' without going into such details!" Emi bended forward, while frowning. "Now you are trying to win at all costs, like usual!"

"Again with that lie?! Stop it!" Eri bended forward, while frowning.

The twins kept shouting at each other, as Mirii and Hun passed near them. The girl walked towards her left, standing on the boy's right side.

"… I had thoughts on how things would have been like, if I had a twin…" She frowned a bit. "… and those two are successfully answering all the questions I made over such argument."

"Watching them quarreling like this…"

Mirii's head turned to her left, watching Hun's head tilting upwards.

"… it reminds me of a situation I remember from the past." His eyes closed. "Did you know that me and my sister were bickering a lot?"

Her mouth opened a bit. His head tilted back to neutral position.

"Those were the first times… and I wished so much to remain a one child…" His eyes opened. "But then, one day, we were both alone inside our house. We heard thunders and the rain drops… I think those were very loud too."

"Where your parents were?" Her eyes grew a bit.

"I don't remember…" He sighed. "But I do remember hiding under my bed's sheet with my sister. We were both scared, calling our parents repeatedly… and we hugged too! And then… and then…"

His head lowered, as his eyebrows went a bit down.

"Then… I… …" His hands went each on one side of his head.

Mirii's mouth downturned.

"… Hunley, don't force your head." She swallowed quickly and silently. "We are almost near the room."

"No, Mirii… I-I can't forget this one!" His head turned over Mirii, while raising to neutral position. "This is one of the most important memories I have!" His irises shrunk a bit, while his eyes grew in a similar manner. "It reminds me how I got out from the dark ages, where I wished the wrong things!"

Mirii's eyebrows went up.

"I-I don't want to forget my past, Mirii…" His head shook a bit. "I-I don't want to forget Fara… or me… or you!"

Mirii's eyes expanded, as they got slightly watery.

"Hunley, rest assure…" She smiled, shrinking her eyes back. "Once we are out of this Shrine and we gain some free time… I will help you find that memory back."

"Yo-you would do it?!" He blushes a bit.

Mirii nodded.

"Also Fara." Her eyes closed. "Together, we will find that precious memory back."

Hun smiled widely, as his mouth opened.

"Oh, Mirii…! I… I don't know how I could ever repay you back!"

Mirii's mind was seeing Hun turning into a Squid and jumping on her arms. She blushed a lot, as her eyes went large.

"Yo-yo-you don't have to do that!" Her head lowered, as sweat jumped out from her head and her hands went down.

"No?" His head tilted to his right.

Her head shook violently.

"I-I just need to see you happy…" Her head rose back, tilted over the boy. "… w-with your memory in mind!"

"Ah…" Hun blushed a bit.

Mirii turned her head forward, seeing Kelly opening the shoji on the left: her eyes pointed back at her, as she immediately shut the shoji back. Her feet stopped, as her face gradually assumed a frown.

"Why Kelly closed the shoji back?" His mouth downturned, as his feet were still. "Did something happened to her?"

"… stay here, Hunley." The girl resumed her walk, moving towards the closed shoji. "I have a situation to solve."

Her right hand landed on the shoji, pushing it towards the right. Kelly gasped, while standing still behind a small table, surrounded by red, green and blue cushions.

"After the thoughts you had, you still have the courage to look at me?!" Kelly frowned a lot. "I wasn't expecting that!"

"I'm not here to justify my previous actions." Her left hand pushed the shoji all the way back, closing it. "I'm here upon Greta's request."

"Greta? Who's this Greta?!" Kelly bended forward.

"That would be Grina's true name." Mirii took some steps away from the shoji, as her head rose and her arms folded. "And she needs your help."

Her right hand took her smartphone, as-

"Did you returned my kimono back to the staff?!" Kelly's eyebrows went up.

"Sure…" Mirii's head was tilted towards the smartphone's screen, as her right thumb was pressing on it. "… I want you to read this text"

"Aaah, no you don't!" Kelly lifted her posture, as her head shook. "I don't trust anything coming from your smartphone…!"

"What?!" Mirii's head pointed at Kelly, while frowning.

"And for that matter, I don't trust any words you are saying!" Kelly twisted behind, as she snorted and folded her arms. "So, go away and pass more time with Master Hun or some"

She twisted back, as her eyes expanded.

"Wait, I can't let you hang out with him!" Her mouth stood open, as her right hand went in front of it. "You will probably manipulate his thoughts and ruin our legit guides!"

"Stop this nonsensical theory, at once!" Mirii growled, while gritting her teeth. "I never lied to you and I would never do it in the future!"

Kelly frowned, as her mouth sealed.

"I was sincere… I-I truly hated that over-the-top reaction I had before!" Her frown decreased slightly. "I couldn't hide my opinions on it… I couldn't let such event pass through my experience."

"That's because you want to be perfect and cold…" Kelly snorted. "I heard it, Mirii!"

"Cold?" Mirii's left hand went on her right hip. "Are you sure I said that in the first place?"

"… well…" A single sweat slid down from Kelly's left side of her head. "… not really…"

"Hmpf!" Mirii's left forefinger pointed at the little girl, while stretching her left arm towards that direction. "Answer me fully!" Her head rose. "Did you heard that? Yes or no?"

"S-stop talking like that!" Sweat formed on Kelly's forehead, as her eyebrows went up. "Yo-you are just trying to spin this whole situation"

"What I'm doing is simple…" Her head went back down, while frowning a bit. "Exposing the truth for what it is, while eliminating all those useless assumptions!"

"Kyyaaah!" Kelly bended forward, as her arms went on her chest in a cross shape. "E-everyone knows you want to achieve perfection, because you want to become cold and lifeless!" Her eyes squeezed, as sweat covered her face. "Wh-why are you denying that?!"

Mirii's eyes blinked, staring at the young girl for some seconds, before retreating her left arm.

"Perfection is all about living in the truth." Her head rose. "Beliefs cannot dictate our minds… unless they are backed with logic and evidence."

"How can you live without beliefs?!" Kelly's eyebrows went up, as her posture lifted. "Yo-you yourself are following one!"

"Pay attention to my words, instead of panicking and call accuses." Mirii's head lowered, while frowning a bit. "I said that beliefs cannot dictate our minds, unless they are backed with logic and evidence."

Kelly's mouth waved.

"I-I want to believe… e-even if I don't see any proofs!"

"… very well." Mirii took three steps, while tapping the smartphone's screen with her right thumb, before stopping in front of a small table.

Kelly's irises were seeing the girl bending down, with her right hand putting her smartphone on the furniture.

"Wh-what are you doing…?"

"I have said everything needed to be said on the matter." Mirii stands back up, as she turned behind. "Now it's up to you… making the decision." She began walking towards the shoji.

"What decision?!" Kelly frowned a bit.

Mirii stopped in front of the shoji.

"The decision of either picking up my smartphone and reading the text, by simply pushing the round button below its screen…"

Her shoulders turned to her left, as her head rose and her left iris was resting on the left eye's left corner.

"… or returning my smartphone, once I'm out of this room."

Kelly's mouth opened wide.

"I'm looking forward to see…" Mirii's eyes squeezed a bit. "… if your beliefs are preventing you from taking unbiased judgments."

Her right hand opened the shoji, as she walked in between its opening: turning behind, her right hand pushed the shoji back to start. Kelly kept looking at the shoji… after some seconds, her irises fell on the smartphone.
