Mirii's couldn't stop looking around: weapons of all kinds were either on one of the three tables in the room or even on the floor nearby! Shelves were curved, holding various working tools, incomplete weapons and papers of all sizes.

Traveling bags were leaning on the far left-corner, almost hiding in the shadows.

"… ugh…" A frown grew on her face, quickly morphing into a grimace. "I don't know how much I can hold, before I hurl…"

Greta yawned, with small tears conquering her cheeks. She was rubbing the wall a bit, wrapping her stomach like a doll.

Kik, kik, kik, kik…

The Inklings' head rose with perfect synchronization: Sheldon was pushing a trolley with weapons on it.

"Oh oh oh!" Bars grinned, rubbed his hands, while stepping away from the wall. "Like, look at all the goodies!" He stopped, raising his mouth and folding his arms. "Although, that one below"

"Hold your tentacles!" The horseshoe crab pulled the trolley, stopping on his feet and resuming his already-seen pose. "If I start taking your weapon first, then I could throw away all the other ones in the process!" His hands simply grabbed each other. "And we don't want that to happen… right?"

Bars chuckled.

"It's fine by me, dude!" He shrugged. "As long as I got a fresh one…"

His lenses were shining, as the short man was now looking straight at Mirii.

"And we start off with you… Mirii!" His hands clapped.

Mirii… rose her head, advancing in front of anyone else.

"I'm ready to take that Charger weapon."

A weapon of that nature was sitting above the rest, colored with a mix of light black and electric-blue. Sheldon placed himself, in front of the trolley: going as slow as crably possible, he grabbed the weapon and exposed it at the current public.

"It's all yours!" His mouth grabbed his lips, as his irises were strangely growing. "But don't you want to… listen some info about it?"

…

Greta and Bars stared back at each other.

"Of course, sir." Mirii nodded.

Now his irises were shining non-stop…!

"Wise decision, young one!" He clapped. "I will be brief, since I have so many weapons to deliver!" He cleared his throat. "What your sharp eyes are staring at, is one of my most recent revolution for the Charger class: the All-in-one Changin' Charger!"

Mirii frowned slightly.

"… I still have to work more on the name, I know…" His arms stretched, almost trembling. "But hey, give it a closer look!"

The girl moved instantly, as her hands reached the weapon without ponderations.

"Pretty fresh, hmm? This bad boy was designed as a valid alternative for the Splattershot!" Sheldon's finger kept waving non-stop.

Her eyes weren't seen even the tip of Sheldon's hat: instead, they were carefully scanning the whole device.

"Technically, you could say that the Splat Charger IS the Standard for all Chargers… but you still need to aim properly and stay in the distance, so you could charge up your shots!" His eyes closed, while smiling widely. "It's a weapon that requires some basic knowledge, before Squids could even glance at it! Although, I never found too much trouble with the dummies… but anyway! Since it's a weapon class of skills, having a beginner-friendly Charger was indeed the challenge to make! You don't have any idea how much time and money I consumed, for making the blueprints even possible! But luckily, the model you are holding is not even in the beta stages: it just needs some specific sets to complement its well-rounded nature! I was thinking to copy the Splattershot formula, but I could be sued for that… and besides, you 4 don't need any specific sets since you can use many subs and specials, with the unique Suits you can custom! The All-in Changin' Charger has a feature that no other weapon has: it has a switch on the top, for changing the weapon into 3 different modes! The first mode allows you to charge your shots up to three times! Each shot is weak, but they can still hold quite a punch on your average Inkling, if they connect! Not to mention, they are pretty quick to charge! Of course this mode is used for covering the ground, the walls at blazing speeds, while still keep a safe distance from any ambushes! The second mode allows you to charge the most powerful, long-ranged shot you can muster! This mode also allows you to active its scope, so your shots are more precise as well! Perfect for the Squid who has to protect turf from incoming foes! The last mode is the most interesting of them all: it shoots a large, slow-moving bubble projectile that must be detonated for blasting results! Think of this mode, like a Blaster weapon… except you have to charge up your shot AND detonate it, by pressing the trigger once more! When you do, the bubble expands in ink volume so quickly, it bursts into a messy ink show! If you don't detonate it in time, the projectile would simply splat on the surface, causing the same damage as an Aerospray pellet would do. It's the hardest mode of the bunch, but if you master it… you can really clean up the competition! I'm thinking to make a stand-alone weapon of that nature, surely perfect for the experienced Squids who want to carry decisive attacks on the opponent's defenses! Overall, this weapon is the pinnacle of versatility! You can use this weapon like you want, but you should always look up at the situation and switch according to the needs of your team! If you learn to use the right mode for the right time, you wouldn't have any problems learning the more specific-oriented Charger weapons! This weapon costs about 50.000 coins, because the working materials were rare and expensive to find… also included the economic sacrifices I had to sustain, for making this dream project come true!"

…

Greta's mouth flattened. Bars chuckled slowly.

"Like… could you repeat that, dude?" A sweat drop grew near his head.

Greta's eyes stretched in the boy's direction.

"Actually… what was a Charger, again?" Hun's head tilted. "Just a weapon you can charge…?"

Greta's hands were pushing hard on her cheeks.

"I don't need any repetitions." Mirii's head rose. "I understood the purpose of the All-in Chargin' Charger…" Her eyes squeezed almost completely. "But I wouldn't define this weapon, as one intended for beginners."

"It has some difficult modes, true…" Sheldon's forefinger went wild again. "… but the fast mode allows you to treat the Charger like a Splattershot! Everyone can use"

"You still have to aim properly and charge your shots." Mirii snorted, followed by an increasing frown. "Especially from the distance, without the use of any scopes."

"It's not that big of a distance, actually…" Sheldon pushed his posture with his hands. "You have to get a bit closer… but you are still away"

"The short ranged Chargers still require a lot of precision!" Her mouth was showing his teeth. "Enough implying I'm wielding a weapon for unexperienced fighters!"

"… you do know that even easy to use weapons require mastery?" His upper teeth seemed to push a bit more down than usual…

"The Chargers cannot have any kid-friendly weapons, unlike the Shooters!" A vein exposed itself on her forehead. "They all need careful aiming, no matter the range or the included scope!" Her eyes shut. "Thus, I'm using the most intelligent, elegant, brilliant, versatile, precise and overall perfect weapon for experienced, charismatic Squids who always aim for the ultimate Charger mastery."

"… that slogan doesn't sound bad at all, actually!" The man clapped, almost tilting in rhythm. "Advertising my newest creation as a refined choice, instead of limiting it as a basic-learning tool… the pros couldn't resist such call! The newbies wouldn't even stop dreaming about it, neither!"

Mirii smiled, calming herself down.

"Of course I have enough experience to quickly recognize the full potentials of any Charger weapon." She waved her head, as if she wanted to sleep. "And even wielding true weapons of valor"

"Ah, I almost forgot!" His opened mouth formed an O, pushing his glasses a bit. "Even though there aren't any specific sets, you still have to know how well they complement with the main weapon!"

"… interesting." Mirii's hands lowered, fully staring at the man. "I'm ready to listen."

Sheldon's hands were pressing as hard as crably possible, with his lenses filling up with tears.

"Alright!" His forefinger began swinging in its classical way. "You should know that the Burst Bombs can be very useful for the fast mode!"

Greta was stumbling, as her right hand landed on her boiling-like forehead. Sheldon's voice was running throughout the whole room, shooting the words faster than a Splattershot Jr.
