Tell Me How To Fix You

By: The Duchess of Arendelle

Chapter 22

AN: And now. The moment you've all been waiting for... Is coming up soon. ;P Somebody pointed out that the formatting was kinda hard to read and I agree but believe it or not, I'm still very new to this. So... let's try it this way and tell me if it's better or if I fucked it up even more. Sound good? Enjoy the chapter, I think you'll like it. Oh, and sorry for any and all mistakes. I'm human after all…or am I? No really, I am. I'd make a shitty robot. Shitty Robots would be an awesome band name. Please welcome the Shitty Robots! Ahhh! Wohhoo! Go Shitty Robots! Why are you still reading this? Read the story dude!

"Hans? Are you okay? I'm so, so sorry! Here let me help you up!" Anna exclaimed as she rushed to help the auburn haired man to his feet. "It's okay. Really. It was my fault. I shouldn't have grabbed you like that. I was just trying to get your attention, you seemed pretty focused on your cell." He replied, gesturing to the device. Anna remained upset as she brushed the dirt off of his jacket. "Still, I'm really sorry." She told him, looking to be seconds away from crying. Hans saw this and gently grasped both of her hands in his, making eye contact with the redhead.

"Anna, I said its fine. But if you really want to make it up to me, we can go on that date we planned over a month ago." He said sweetly. Anna blushed. Oh yeah. That. "Sorry, I had literally forgotten all about that. Life's been so crazy lately." She said, pausing and slowly removing her hands from Hans's. He frowned in confusion. "Listen, Hans… I can't go out with you. My heart kind of belongs to someone else now." She said awkwardly. She hated the dejected look that fell on his face at her words.

"Oh…" he said sadly. Anna felt so bad. Hans was now looking down at his shoes in contemplation. He then looked back up at the fidgeting Anna and smiled. "Does that mean we can't still be friends?" he asked, hopeful smile in place. Anna gave him a genuine smile in return and nodded her head.

"Of course we can still be friends." She told him, placing a hand on his shoulder. His smile seemed to brighten at Anna's words and he held out his arm in a gentlemanly gesture. "Then, as your friend, may I take you out to dinner? It's late and I for one could really go for a sandwich." He said, gazing at Anna with a wide friendly smile. Anna smiled back and happily took his arm. "Yes you may kind sir." She told him, as he lifted his other arm and easily hailed a cab.

"Your chariot awaits." He said cheekily.

***FROZEN***

"So, what were you doing in that part of town so late at night anyway?" Anna inquired as she took another bite of her sub. It was freaking delicious. Hans had taken her to a small cozy sandwich place that had the words best turkey, tomato, and cheese sub she had ever tasted. The auburn haired man sitting across from her swallowed his club before answering.

"I could ask you the same thing." He responded as he brought the napkin from his lap to his mouth.

"I asked you first." Anna said with a quirked eyebrow and a smirk. Hans held up his hands in mock surrender.

"Okay, okay. You're right." He said, clearing his throat and adjusting himself in the booth. "I was actually coming from the local homeless shelter. When I have some extra time or time off, I like to go down there and pass out blankets, dish up soup, things like that to make myself useful." He explained, looking away like he was embarrassed to admit to such a selfless act. Anna looked at him in adoration, awwing at his kindness.

"Aww, Hans. That's great. That's so sweet of you to do. Now I feel doubly bad for assaulting you on your way home." She said, reaching across the table and grabbing his hand.

"Don't feel bad. Like I said, it was my fault. Although I must say, you do have quite an impressive right hook." He joked as he brought a hand to his still sore jaw. Anna removed he hand from Hans's so it could join the other in covering up her blushing face. "Oh Goodddd. This is forever going to haunt me." She groaned out. Hans laughed good naturedly.

"Well, I answered your question, now it's your turn to answer mine. What were you doing out this late, especially in a neighborhood like that?" he asked innocently. Anna dropped her hands from her face and began to fidget a bit. Should she tell Hans about her assignment? Should she lie? Well, she hadn't even told Elsa yet. But that's only because it could affect the blonde, or maybe even get her in trouble, what with the Southern Isle being Frost Industries main competitor. They could claim slander or something. In the end, Anna chose to not give the entire truth.

"I was at a friend's house. He was helping me with some tech. You know, geek stuff." She responded, taking another bite of her sandwich. Hans nodded his head in understanding.

"So is this the mystery man that stole your heart?" he asked. Anna nearly chocked to death on the sandwich she was still chewing. She coughed crumbs all over the table before Hans quickly handed her his glass of water. She eagerly drank it down and sighed with relief as the sandwich finally made it out of her throat and into her stomach. She still sputtered a bit as she answered him.

"Wh- what? Eugene? Ugh, no way!" she said loudly, disgusted at the thought. She then blushed and slid down in her seat as she saw more than one pair of eyes looking her way.

"Sorry." She said awkwardly. Hans smiled and shook his head with a laugh.

"Then who is the lucky guy?" he asked, sitting forward and placing both hands on the table. Something about him seemed eager to find out and that made Anna a bit suspicious. Maybe she was just being paranoid.

"Um, well. That's a secret." She responded ambiguously. A look Anna couldn't quite place crossed Hans's face but it left so quickly Anna wasn't even sure if she really saw it. "That's okay. I completely understand. We all have our secrets after all." He responded with a friendly smile. He then looked at the time on his watch. "Oh wow. Look at the time." He said with his brow furrowed. Anna looked at her own watch and her eyes widened a bit. 11:07 p.m. "Wow, you're right. We should go." She said, reaching into her pocketbook for some bills. Hans quickly stopped her.

"No, no, no. I invited you, I'm going to pay." He said, reaching into his jacket's pocket and pulling out a wallet. Anna was about to protest when he held up a hand to stop her. "No Anna, I insist." He said as he handed over his credit card to the waitress. Anna closed her mouth and sighed inwardly "Fine, but I'm paying next time." She told him sternly.

"Deal." He replied with a laugh.

A few minutes later, the waitress came back with the card and a receipt. Anna wasn't really a nosy person by nature, but she couldn't help but see the American Express black card that Hans quickly placed back in his wallet. 'Wow. Holy shit. Just how much are they paying people in the finance department?' She wondered. Hans then stood and held his hand out to Anna. She took it and he helped her up. "Well, we're going to the same place, shall I see you home?" he asked sweetly.

"You shall." Anna responded with a slightly confused smile. What was a black card holder doing living in a building like hers. Well, Elsa lived there too so maybe it wasn't too weird.

***FROZEN***

As soon as she had said her goodbyes to Hans, she had quickly unlocked her apartment's door and made a direct beeline for her bed. Kicking off her shoes, she fell face first into her mattress. Heaven. As she tried to sleep, the day's events kept running through her head. Elsa. Talking to her cousin. Elsa. Working with Eugene. Confessing her love for Elsa. Accidentally beating up Hans. Elsa. Han's black card. Elsa. Elsa. Elsa. She was seeing a pattern. She rolled over unto her back and stared up at the ceiling. She had to tell the blonde about her feelings and soon. She didn't even think she could act normal around Elsa anymore after the realization of her love for the blonde. Anna sighed as she stared into the darkness. 'I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship or all the progress we've made', was her last thought as she finally slipped into blissful unconsciousness.

The next morning found Elsa vacuuming her living room floor. As she turned the expensive equipment off, she heard the tell tell sound of a Skype call. She smiled as she put her valcumer away and walked over to the coffee table to answer the call. Rapunzel's smiling face popped up on the screen as she greeted Elsa cheerfully.

"Finally! I thought you'd never answer!" she said to the blonde. Well, that wasn't exactly a cheerful greeting.

"Good morning to you too Rapunzel." Elsa responded with an eye roll.

"Oh yeah, that too." The brunette said cheekily. The two soon feel into easy conversation which still amazed Elsa. Soon they came to the subject of Anna and the blonde froze up a bit.

"Yeah, she texted me this morning. Said her friend Krisopher or something invited her to a dinner with his family tonight." Rapunzel informed Elsa, studying the girl's reaction. She wasn't disappointed as she saw the blonde's features morph into something that looked a lot like jealousy.

"Oh. I didn't know that." she said coolly. Who the fuck was Krisopher and why was Anna going to a dinner with his family? Last time she checked, she was the only one who cooked for Anna. Rapunzel stared at the blonde with a smirk.

"Brrr. Calm down ice princess." The brunette said with a small laugh. Elsa looked back at her and blushed. "They're just friends you know. He's the one that use to hang out with your brother." She said the last part cautiously. She knew the subject of Olaf was still sore for the blonde. Anna had informed her about the entire situation. Elsa's eyes widened as she realized who Rapunzel meant.

"You mean Kristoff?" she asked. That wasn't much more of a comforting thought. She knew Anna liked Kristoff as a friend and would often mention the boy in their conversations about her day. "Yep, that's the one." Rapunzel responded. She watched as the blonde went silent and sighed in frustration. She looked at Pascal and the little chameleon looked back. Yes. It was time.

"Look Elsa…" she started, pulling the blonde out of her thoughts. Elsa looked at Rapunzel inquisitively."You have to tell her at some point you know." she stated, staring at Elsa seriously. Elsa decided to feign ignorance as she stood from her seat and brought her laptop into the kitchen as she got herself a glass of water. "I don't know what you're talking about. Tell who what?" she asked, avoiding direct eye contact with the short haired brunette. Rapunzel rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Let's not, okay Elsa? We both know who and what I'm talking about. Remember who you're talking to hon." She told Elsa as she and Pascal stared her down. Elsa sighed heavily and dropped her head on the counter. "You just met me like two weeks ago, am I really that obvious?" she asked in distress. Rapunzel's features softened as she responded.

"Oh, honey. Yes. You are." She said and Elsa groaned loudly. "But, so is Anna." Rapunzel continued. Elsa lifted her head and stared at the screen with her mouth hanging open.

"You think Anna likes me too?" she asked in disbelief. No. That couldn't be true. Since when was something in her life that easy? "Sweetheart, I know she does." Rapunzel responded confidently. Elsa shook her head. "No, she just likes me as a friend. A best friend." Elsa told her. Rapunzel face palmed. Did these two women know nothing? Were they really so blind to the other's feelings?

"Look Elsa, I know my cousin. I know her better than just about anyone else in the world. Anna has… a somewhat, um, troubled past. I won't get into details, I'll let her tell you, but what I'm trying to say is, Anna as trusting as she can still be, has never been this trusting with someone. Not for a very long time. For instance, you said Anna voluntarily sleeps over your house?" she asked. Elsa slowly nodded her head. Where was she going with this?

"How many of the time's she's slept over ended with her waking up screaming?" Rapunzel continued questioning. Elsa frowned in confusion.

"None." She responded. Rapunzel hmmed.

"Okay. When she hugs you, does she pull away instantly?"

"No. Never."

"Does she call or text you in the middle of the day just to see how you are?"

"…Yes."

"When you hold each other's hands, do you feel a spark?"

"…."

Rapunzel took her silence as a yes. She smiled slightly as she caught movement out of the corner of her eye. The blonde wasn't looking and Rapunzel raised a finger to her lips at the blushing figure standing silently in the background.

"Sweetie, Anna's just as in love with you as you are with her. Accept it." She told the blonde. Elsa sighed and looked down at her hands in her lap.

"Rapunzel, even if that was true, what am I supposed to say, 'Hi Anna, hope your day was good, mine was fine. By the way, I'm deeply and madly in love with you. You make me want to get better so I can walk through the park with you while holding your hand or take you out to nice restaurants, or lean over and kiss you whenever we're watching a scary movie.' How am I supposed to tell her that?" Elsa ranted. She looked back up at the screen and saw Rapunzel exchange a small high five with Pascal before looking back at her.

"You just did." The brunette said pointing past her and at the gaping redhead, whose face was now the same color as her hair, standing behind the blonde. Elsa was the opposite as all the color drained from her face. Her heart beat loudly against her chest and the two women had a stare down as neither dared to say anything. Rapunzel looked between the two of them and broke the silence by sighing loudly and yelling, "Somebody say something!"

Anna was the first to break from her trace and she spoke softly as she looked the blonde in the eye.

"You love me?"

AN: Yeah! Whohoo! Shitty Robots! You know what, I'm going to find some way to put that in this story. XD If you didn't read the AN at the beginning… this is awkward…

BUT SERIOUSLY

What's going to happen now they know of the other's feelings? You have to love how devious Rapunzel is. You'll find out just how devious next chapter. Tell me, am I moving too fast with the feelings or am I starting to move things along on the right pace? Besides the snail's pace I was torturing you guys with. Purposely. :) Who else was rejoicing when Anna turned Hans down? Come on, show of hands. I know you did a happy dance. Also, Anna may be starting to use the ol noodle when it comes to Hans. I researched American Express black cards and damn. They're invitation only and you have to be making some serious green to get one. I mean serious green. Bill Gates green. Donald Trump green. Kim Kardashian green.

Anyway, review or something. I don't know. I'm sleepy. If you couldn't tell by the nonsense I'm sprouting. I'm probably going to look back at this and be like, "What the fuck was I smoking?" I just hope it didn't affect my work. You know, I might go ahead and write a random Elsanna sex scene for this story and save it till it's time to put it in. I'm loopy enough to not care right now.

Bye Bye!
