Tell Me How To Fix You

Chapter 32

By: The Duchess of Arendelle

AN: Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukah! Happy Kwanza! Happy Winter Solstice! And for the others I missed, Happy/Merry that to you too! I wanted to post this yesterday for Christmas, but, yeah. Christmas party. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter. Sorry for the mistakes! And Happy Holidays!

*REVISED VERSION* I fixed the spacing I hope, something I'll be making sure to look out for in my future chapters. Also added just a few things and cleaned up some grammar mistakes.

Anna woke to a brain splitting headache. It felt like an elephant decided to take tap dancing lessons on her head. She groaned as she turned over to see Elsa still sleeping soundly. She smiled at the sight and leaned over to place a small kiss on her cheek. Elsa stirred a bit but didn't wake. Turning back over, Anna sluggishly rolled out of bed with another groan.

"Never. Again." She told herself as she trudged out of Elsa's room and down the hallway. She was on her way to the kitchen to grab a glass of water when she stumbled upon the disaster area that was Elsa's apartment. "Oh. Shit." She muttered to herself as she tried to fight through sleep and a pounding headache to assess the situation. There were empty bottles of alcohol strewn all over the floor. Pizza boxes with half eaten pizzas occupied the coffee table. Empty bags of chips and other snacks littered the floor as well, along with… oh no. Were those Elsa's chair pillows?! And sound asleep under a pile of all of that was Rapunzel, still softly snoring. Anna tried to shake her head to clear it but it only made it worse. She winced.

"Ok Summers. This is on you. Do you know what this could do to Elsa's progress if she saw all of this? I don't even want to think about it..." She thought as she continued to cautiously walk around the room. Reaching Rapunzel, she nudged the girl slightly with her foot. "Psst, Punz…" she whispered, trying to wake the girl. Rapunzel remained blissfully asleep.

"Punz!" Anna called out again, nudging a little harder. Rapunzel grumbled and turned away from the girl, still fast asleep. Walking away from her cousin, Anna made her way over to the large window. The same window she first saw Elsa sitting in with the sun setting behind her. Anna smiled to herself at the memory before ripping the blinds open. She heard Rapunzel let out a slight hiss as the sun shone in, but placing one of the chair pillows over her head was enough to instantly send the girl back to sleep. Anna huffed to herself, blowing a lock of her crazy, wild bed hair out of her face. Rapunzel had always been a heavy sleeper, especially after drinking so much.

Not that they did it often.

Really.

Stepping away from the girl, she tried to think of ways to wake her up. She looked over towards the kitchen, which was another problem entirely, and smiled when she got an idea. Walking over to the sink, she turned on the cold water faucet and let it run for a few seconds. She then reached for a cup, stopping herself and instead going for one of the large mixing bowls. Filling the bowl with the ice cold water, she walked back over to her sleeping, oblivious cousin. With a wicked smirk, she lifted the bowl high over her head. Anna was sure Rapunzel was going to murder her with a frying pan, but hey, YOLO right? Tilting the bowl, she spilled the entire contents onto Rapunzel's sleeping form. The brunette shot up, sputtering and shocked.

"Wha- Huh? What's happening?!" She yelled, looking around the room wildly. Anna couldn't hold back her laughter, but she did try to keep it quiet. Rapunzel turned to face her, and when realization kicked in she frowned.

"Anna Maria Summers, you're dead!" she shouted as she rose to her feet, ready to attack. Anna couldn't stop laughing. "Punz, Punz, listen. I'm sorry, okay?" She tried to apologize, but she had a feeling her hysterical laughing wasn't helping matters. With Rapunzel still advancing on her, and her running out of space to back into, she tried to compose herself. "Listen, Punz, I'm sorry, really. I tried to wake you up but you refused! You know how hard it is to wake you." Anna was desperately trying to explain. Rapunzel was hearing none of it as she continued to menacingly advance on her.

"Okay look! I need your help! It's for Elsa's sake." She told the girl when she'd finally backed her in a corner. Rapunzel stopped and raised a eyebrow, unconvinced. "What are you talking about? How is pouring a bowl of water on my head for Elsa's sake?" she asked somewhat angrily. Anna sighed.

"I told you, I was trying to wake you up so you could help me. Look." She grabbed the brunette by her shoulders and turned her around. Rapunzel's eyes widened as they took in the view before her. "Holly shit." She muttered. Anna nodded her head. "Uh yeah. That's why I woke you up. We need to clean this place before Elsa wakes and freaks over it." Anna informed the girl. Rapunzel whined and looked back at her cousin.

"What? Us? Why? Can't we just let Elsa do it? She loves doing stuff like this." Rapunzel complained. Anna frowned hard and rolled her eyes. "Actually she doesn't. She hates doing stuff like that. She just can't control herself. She's sick Punz, it's not like she's Martha Stewart and wants to constantly clean and organize. She just… can't help herself." Anna told the brunette. Rapunzel looked down at the floor, ashamed of what she'd said. She wasn't trying to be insensitive, she just…

Rapunzel looked at the room again then back at Anna. "Okay. So it's, dear God, 5:36 a.m., what time does Elsa usually wake?" she asked Anna. "7:35 on the dot, but her morning routine usually last for an hour and 45 minutes." Anna answered automatically. She knew Elsa's routine by heart. Rapunzel nodded her head, rolling up her wet sleeves, she spoke.

"Alright then, let's get started." Anna smiled and followed her cousin into the kitchen. Rapunzel stopped in front of the supply closet and turned back to her cousin. "You know this…" she pointed to herself and her wet hair and clothes. "…isn't over. By a long shot. You won't know where. Or when. Or even how. But I will get you back for this." She told the redhead seriously. Then she smiled and went back to gathering the cleaning supplies. Anna shuddered at the thought. Maybe that wasn't such a good idea.

*************FROZEN***************

1 and 59 minutes later.

Elsa stretched and winced as she felt the beginnings of a splitting headache. She turned to look at the clock on her bedside tabled, quickly turning away again when the glowing red LED numbers looked as bright as the sun's surface. She made out 7:35 a.m. Just like every other day. Groaning just a bit, she turned over to the cold spot next to her. She frowned. Anna had spent the night right? She didn't remember much from last night, barely anything really, but she remembered the redhead's lips kissing her goodnight. And she remembered that she incited the rather heated kiss. Blushing, she quickly sat up in bed, only to instantly fall back.

The entire room… no… universe, was spinning ten times too fast.

Closing her eyes and gathering her wits again, she sat up, much slower this time. Getting out of her bed, she made her way over to her en-suite bathroom. She felt like she was moving at a snail's pace and she was sure someone had replaced her legs with Jell-O.

Finally making it to her bathroom, she splashed some water on her flushed face. She snuck a peak at herself in the mirror and grimaced at her reflection. Her face was completely red, she had slight bags under her also red eyes. Her hair was a complete mess. And, Jesus, she smelt like a liquor store. Elsa felt panic begin to rise in her chest as she took in her unkept appearance. Closing her eyes and taking in a deep breath, she heard Anna's voice telling her to calm down, everything will be fine.

As she thought of the redhead, the feeling of panic subsided a little, just enough for her to step out of her clothes and into the shower. The longer the scolding hot water ran down her body and the harder she scrubbed, the better she started to feel.

After finishing her usual 45 minute shower, she stepped out. Looking at her arms she wince. She had been scrubbing too hard again. They felt really raw, and patches of skin had peeled off, causing her to bleed a bit. Elsa quickly grabbed a towel. This wasn't the first time this happened. It actually kind of happened a lot. Especially before Anna came into her life. She thought of what the redhead would say if she saw. She didn't even want to entertain that particular thought.

With a towel still wrapped around her body, she fetched the gauze from their usual spot under the sink and began to wrap he forearm. Well, long sleeves today it is. After she finished, she began the rest of her routine.

1 hour 55 minutes later

Delayed by her slight shower mishap, Elsa stepped out of her closet in a pair of cuffed jean sorts and a light blue long sleeved shirt. Heading for her room door, she stopped short of it and self-consciously pulled on the sleeves of her shirt.

She took in a deep breath and left her room.

While going through her routine, her headache lightened and she started to remember a bit more from the night before. It was still cloudy, but she did recall music, robots, food, alcohol, a lot of alcohol, Anna and Rapunzel with some people…?, and A LOT of clutter.

At the time she didn't care, but now that she was sober, she was dreading taking a look at what she was sure was going to be pure disaster. She was dreading it because she knew as soon as she saw the trash, and the food, and the clutter over the floors, tables, and chairs, she was going to go into what she referred to as, FFCM (Full Force Clean Mode).

It was a mode that she hated finding herself in. It was similar to that time Anna found her blindly scrubbing her hands till they bleed profusely, or when she hand scrubbed the same spot on her floor for hours until the wood began to fade. She hated FFCM, but she couldn't stop herself.

Taking her time, her heart started to beat faster and faster as she made her way down the hall and into her living room. She actually closed her eyes for the last stretch only to open them with surprise when she saw her house in its usual pristine condition. She stepped further into the room and saw Rapunzel wiping down the coffee table. The brunette looked up and saw Elsa. She smiled brightly at the blonde and waved.

"Look who decided to join the party!" she said loudly.

Elsa smiled a genuine smile, albeit in slight confusion. She walked next to the girl who was wearing a pair of gloves, an apron, and a scarf to hold her hair back. She looked ridiculous, and Elsa couldn't help laughing a bit. Rapunzel picked up on what Elsa was laughing about and pretended to scowl before joining in. "It's called cleaning couture Elsa." The brunette responded. Elsa shook her head then looked around again, brow furrowed. "Where's Ann-"

"Punnnzzzz! I can't find the… Elsa! Hey, you're awake!" the redhead, dressed similarly to Rapunzel popped out of the kitchen, taking off her cleaning gear before running to her girlfriend's side.

"Hey, are you feeling okay?" the redhead asked the blonde.

Elsa smiled slightly. "Yes, I'm fine. I just have a headache, and is it me, or is the sun extra bright today?" The blonde responded, squinting at the light coming through the window. Anna and Rapunzel laughed at that.

"Yeah, that's called a hangover. It's a bitch." Rapunzel told Elsa as she took off her cleaning gear as well and put them back into the closet.

"There's coffee and Tylenol in the kitchen if you need it." Anna told the blonde. Elsa smiled at her and nodded. Leaning over, she kissed the redhead lightly on the lips. Anna looked surprised but happy.

"Thank you." Elsa whispered to the girl.

Anna smiled and laughed. "For coffee and Tylenol?" she asked. Elsa rolled her eyes and laughed a little at that. "No silly. For this." She motioned to the room. "I remember this place was terrible last night, and now it's perfect. Unless I have an infestation of cleaning farries, I think I have you and Rapunzel to thank for it." Elsa said, smiling sweetly at the redhead.

Anna blushed and looked away, slightly embarrassed. "Yeah, well, I know how you would feel if it were left like it was, and I never want you to feel that way, especially because of something I helped do."

Elsa grabbed Anna's hands, and Anna wondered when the roles had reversed. When did she become the blushing shy one and Elsa the one who takes the lead? She looked back at the blonde and smiled brightly.

"I love you, you know." Elsa smiled back.

"I know." she responded with a playful smirk.

Anna pouted. "You did not just Luke Skywalker me!" Anna said looking at Elsa with an arched brow.

Elsa rolled her eyes, with a smile and a laugh."

"Just kidding. I love you too." She told the redhead.

The smile returned to Anna's face as she moved in to kiss the blonde again. The kiss however, was interrupted by a certain brunette. "And I love food! I'm starving over! So could we please get some?" she shouted from the kitchen.

Anna looked towards the kitchen in annoyance.

"Has anyone ever told you you're a lot like Howard's mom from the Big Bang Theory?" Anna yelled back.

"Only you toochie face!" Rapunzel responded.

Anna was going to yell something back but stopped when she felt Elsa's lips brush hers. After a few seconds she pulled away with a light smile.

"It's okay. Since you guys cleaned, how about I make breakfast?" she asked the two as they walked into the kitchen.

"Deal." Rapunzel said quickly.

Elsa and Anna both rolled their eyes and laughed. Elsa went over to the sink to wash a pan out, when she slipped on a small puddle of un-mopped up water. Anna quickly grabbed her by her arms and Elsa tried to hold back her groan of pain.

"Oh God, are you okay?" Anna asked worriedly.

Elsa quickly righted herself and pulled away from Anna's grasp. Back turned to Anna, she tried to joke it off.

"Yeah, guess the floor is still pretty slippery." She laughed nervously.

Something sounded off in her voice and Anna turned Elsa around to look at her. "Elsa. Are you sure you're okay?" Anna asked, brows knitted. Elsa forced a smile and another laugh.

"I'm fine Anna, really. Just a little accident." she tried to assure the redhead. Anna didn't look completely convinced but she let it drop, not wanting to be one of those pushy girlfriends.

"Okay, if you say so…" she trailed off.

"I do." Elsa laughed which made Anna smile.

She placed a kiss on Anna's cheek then turned back to the sink. In her fall and catch, her sleeves had risen. She quickly rolled them back down and thanked whoever was listening Anna didn't notice the exposed bandages.

But Rapunzel did.

AN: So, hope you liked it! I did draw the album cover for the Shitty RObots and I'll post it to tumblr today. I would have posted it long ago, but I didn't want to because you guys would have had no idea I'd posted it. So yeah. Anyways, I'm ready to start taking this story farther. I feel like we've kind of been in the same spot for a while and I want to move it along. I've been going pretty slow with this story. I want to get to the drama, and angst, and healing, and expand on some of the different things that I've been hinting at all throughout this story. So buckle up, because we're about to start moving a lot faster!

Any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions, leave a review or a PM and I'll answer it as soon as I'm able. Love you guys! Peace! :)
