AN:- Well hello everyone! Actually I wanted to start this story first. I think I will be completing this one first too. I hope you enjoy it and forgive me for my mistakes as I didn't type it. I just used the voice to words tool.

Tala's POV

It is extremely cruel that you are always hurt by them whom you love the most. I waited for her but she never returned. I just had a letter and a gift given by her. A guitar which I could no longer see, but only feel. I did nothing, nothing at all.

I was excited! It was a new college after all. I was staring at all the new faces. Then a girl approached to me and introduced herself, "Hello, I'm Hilary". I felt happy as someone came to me without me starting the conversation. "I am Tala nice to meet you" I spoke and then we had a long conversation which did not stop even after the history teacher gave us a a detention. That sir was rude though. That day we had fun and I knew a lot about her.

The next day I went to the college as soon as I could. I ran like a cheetah and jumped into the metro train. If I was a second late, I would have had crashed my head hard. I saw an empty seat, of course I wanted to sit as my destination was 7 stations away, so I ran again, but unfortunately I was late. A man sat on it and smirked at me. I was frustrated inside but I gave a smile as if I didn't care. A girl who was sitting beside that man got up and I felt happy. Without giving any second thought I said in her place resting my bag on my lap. I was still catching my breath.

I started to see and look at everyone in a random pattern. Then I noticed something. The girl was standing in front of me, holding the handle bar. It was already pretty late, force stations passed, but she did not get down. I started to feel bad somehow, I was staring for quite a long time without my notice. I stared away when I saw her staring at me.

Oh gosh girls these days!

I suddenly stood up and requested her to sit. She just smiled and I promise I never saw such a pleasant smile in my whole life time. She said and I asked, "Why did you give me your seat?" She stared with her charming eyes, which I did not notice till then and spoke, "You looked of tired and kind of sad." I felt embarrassed because of no reason. After 3 more stations was 'Rajiv Chowk'. I had to change from the blue line to the yellow line from there, so I walked away. I wanted to wave her from outside but surprisingly she ran past me towards the yellow line too. I followed her to the same train.

The next rain was too rushed. We didn't have any space left. Her body was slightly hitting against mine and my heartbeat was rising rapidly. I don't know if she felt the same way though. After 1 station many of them got down. It was New Delhi after all. We got down, but she started to run again in haste.

I wanted to ask her name. I never felt this restless before. I followed her and reached my destination, which was our destination indeed. "I'm Tala!" I shouted, she turned behind and gave me a smile and shouted, "Carol"

She entered the room which I knew. Who would believe she was my classmate?! I never saw her the previous day! Or maybe I was too busy with Hilary or maybe she was absent yesterday? I knew I was thinking a lot. I couldn't keep my eyes away from her, she was something different and strangely mysterious. But then, it was psychology period, I love that subject so I wasn't distracted by her anymore.

It was our lunch time and everyone walked here and there when I heard Hilary calling for me. "Tala! This is Tyson, my roommate!" She screamed in excitement. "What? Wait a minute! This college is residential?!" I shouted like a mad man. The boys stared at me as if I ate a rat. "Yes bro! See there, next to the main gate of that hospital, there are our rooms," spoke Tyson in a monotonic sing song. Hilary glared at me as if I spoiled something precious. "Tala! Say hello to Tyson!" She spoke. She gave me a devil smile and gestured me to shake hands. I immediately did that. "I'm Tala" I tried my best to be normal. I didn't like this kind of conversation where someone else forced me to interact. I like to start conversations with people I want to! "Tyson! That's my name!" He spoke.

Though this Tyson person was interesting in his own way.

I told them that I had something important and ran upstairs, where I saw Carol. I heard a loud thundering of clouds. I saw her sitting down, she was wearing a white frock like top. She literally look like an angel. My thoughts changed as I saw her smoking.

She puffed and released all the impure air outside. I sat next to her and took her cigar from her hand. "You shouldn't smoke you know!" I spoke and lit another cigar, returned hers and joined her. "I know, but it feels good right?" Carol asked to which I just nodded. "Do you like the rain?" She asked out of the blue. I realise that it was raining already.

"Carol! I actually hate and love the rain, I don't know if I can explain this to you," I told her like a reflex action. "Hmm... Same here." She murmured and we watched the rain together. For me rain was something more than nature or natural phenomenon. Rain has emotional connection with living beings, some people tell, it is when the clouds cry, others tell it gives life. Some people don't even bother if it rains. I hate rain because something bad happened with me, everytime it rained. So, whenever it rained I felt kind of scared, yet I enjoyed it that day with Carol.
