Tell Me How To Fix You
Chapter 40
By: The Duchess of Arendelle
AN: Enjoy guys! Sorry for any and all mistakes!
Anna awakened from her drunken slumber with a loud groan. What time was it? And damn it, why was the sun trying to blind her? What had she ever done to the sun?
Sitting up on one arm, she raised her other, bringing a hand up to her face. Wiping the sleep away, she yawned loudly as she tried to fight through the hazy fog that had settled over her mind. The redhead stopped mid yawn when she finally decided to take in her surroundings.
A sterilely clean room greeted her. Half of the bed she was lying in was perfectly made. She looked over at the tidy nightstand to see bright LED numbers blare 10:08 A.M. at her.
Oh. Dear. God.
She was in Elsa's bedroom. Why was she in Elsa's bedroom? The headache that she had been trying to ignore increased in tenacity as she tried to remember the events from the previous night.
She'd went to the party thing with Hans. Mission accomplished on talking to the head huncho. Eugene was there. She'd gotten drunk with Hans. He'd… tried to kiss her. (She'd file that away for later examination.) She couldn't get into her apartment so… so she came to Elsa's. They talked… well she talked. She couldn't remember exactly what she'd said, but she knew she'd told Elsa she was still in love with her. Anna face palmed at the memory. Great. You lasted all of one week Anna. Let's hope you didn't do anything el-
Shit.
A kiss. The kiss. She very vaguely remember kissing Elsa. It may have very well been a dream. She hoped so.
The redhead jumped slightly in bed when she heard the door creak open. She turned with wide eyes as a surprised looking Elsa came through the doorway.
"Oh, Anna, you're awake." Elsa spoke first after a long period of silently gaping at each other. Anna snapped out of her panicked thoughts and slowly nodded her head.
"Um, y-yeah. I am…" She trailed off, unsure of what to say. Elsa smiled slightly as she crossed the room. Stopping in front of Anna, she blushed as she handed the redhead two pills and a glass of water. Anna hadn't even noticed the blonde was holding them.
"I um, I w-was going to leave them by the table for when you awakened, but, y-you're awake now, so…" Elsa trailed of in her explanation as she turned her red face away from the hungover woman in her bed.
Anna took the proffered items with a shy, but grateful smile.
"Thanks so much Elsa. You're a lifesaver." Anna thanked graciously as she threw the pills in her mouth and downed the water in one long gulp.
Elsa said nothing, just nodded.
"So…" Anna started nervously, but said nothing else.
"So…" Elsa responded in the same manner. Anna cleared her throat and sighed. Okay, you have to say something. You made this bed, now lay in it. I mean… not literally. Elsa made this bed, and I'm lying in it. And I should probably get up soon. And even then, Elsa probably wants to make the bed herself. Which could be a metaphor on its own right? I mean, okay, in a metaphorical sense-
Anna's musing were cut off as she felt the bed shift beside her. In a bold move, Elsa cautiously sat next to the redhead. Anna released a breath and sat up in the bed, legs crossed in a pretzel, and looked at the blonde.
"Listen Elsa, I'm sorry for last night. I had no right barging in here like that. I was completely shitfaced, and I… I probably said and or did some things that may have made you uncomfortable. I'm really really sorry. I know we agreed to spend some time apart to work on ourselves and stuff. Then I came in messing it all up in one fatal swoop." Anna apologized, looking away in shame and sadness. Tears gathered in her eyes that she didn't want Elsa to see. After a long moment of silence, she felt a cool hand land on her shoulder. Elsa wasn't looking at her, she was looking down at her lap, but she began to speak in an almost whisper.
"What if- what if I didn't mind it? The things you did and said last night? What if… I want us to be together again too…" Elsa was blushing brightly and her eyes were now shut, like she was readying for a hard blow. Anna turned to look at the blonde in surprise. She was hearing things wrong, right? She must have passed back out because she wasn't hearing what she thought she was hearing.
She knew Elsa never wanted to end the relationship in the first place. But, not even 24 hours ago, she was just telling her how she never wanted to see her again. Anna was getting a second chance to put things back the way they were. But realization soon hit her. The entire point of calling things off was to change things, not for them to be exactly how they were before.
"Please say something." Elsa let out in a shaky breath. She had been trying to plan on what to say to the redhead all morning. In the end, she decided to put herself out there, and she was feeling that maybe that wasn't the best idea. Maybe Anna was just drunk and saying things last night. Maybe…. Maybe she didn't really mean it.
Anna looked down and stared at Elsa's hand sitting beside hers. She had a decision to make, and as she gently captured the blonde's hand in her own, she hoped that she was making the right one.
"Elsa, I…"

AN: I'm evil, I know! :) ! I love cliff hangers, muahhahaha! Good news is, you've spoken and I've listened! I'm giving you guys 2 short chapters every week. This is short, but this is probably max on how may words I'll write. The short chapters won't always be this long.
ALSO
I've been reading all your reviews and messages, like always, and I want to thank you guys for the feedback! It seems like everyone is on the fence. Half pro Elsa and Anna getting back together and half against it just yet. Again, thank you for letting me know your opinions, it really helped me with the preceding, and next chapter you'll get to read the fate of Elsanna, lol! Hopefully it's a decision everyone will be pleased with! Review or PM if you have any questions, comments, or concerns… or if you want to tell me how much you hate me for the cliff hanger. Don't worry, I'll understand. ;)
See you guys in a day or two!
