As promised a PR fanfic and now I think its time you knew which series it is, its…..Dino Thunder!
It was prom in Reefside and much to the surprise of the ex-dino thunder red ranger Ethan had brought a date. He of course had brought Krista who he had worn down to go out with him. Connor looked forward and saw Trent chatting up a blonde girl who wore quite a revealing dress, for some reason Connor couldn't help but feel a twinge of anger...but why?
'' Hey''! Krista said loudly, snapping her fingers in Connor's face.
'' Huh? Oh, yeah sorry'' Connor stammered as he came out of his trance walking with Krista but lost focus when Ethan walked up to him.
'' Hey man'' Ethan said Ethan said fist bumping his friend.
'' Hey how's your date''? Connor asked.
'' Pretty good, I think I might be in love''
'' Wow easy there, you've only known Angela for what, like a week''?
'' Jealous"?
Connor furrowed his brow. '' Why would I be jealous''.
Ethan cocked his head to the left pointing out that Krista had left him and was now chatting up one of Connor's team mates and about two minutes later the two of them had run out of the room.
Connor looked like he had just seen a ghost and subsequently dashed out into the hallway.
'' You look happy'' came a sarcastic voice.
Connor turned round and saw Kira, she had gotten into your standard prom dress save for the yellow color she had on.
'' Oh, hey, yeah, so my night's ruined'' Connor said rubbing the back of his head.
Kira walked up to him and gave him a hug. '' It's ok, I had a bad feeling about her ''.
Connor returned the hug and Kira's head sank into his chest.
'' Aww so cute'' came another sarcastic voice.
The two turned round and saw Ethan leaning against the door smirking with his arms folded.
'' Look if you guys are done its time for the slow dance'' Ethan said walking away.
'' Do you have someone to dance with ''? Connor asked.
'' Well I was going to dance with Trent but he seems…engaged'' Kira said pointing backwards towards Trent currently having a full blown make-out session with the aforementioned blonde.
'' Well since Krista's gone and Trent's well, occupied should we dance''? Connor asked.
Kira held out her hand '' sure''.
The two began to slow dance unbeknownst to them Ethan had gone over to the DJ and bribed him 20 bucks to place a specific song.
I know we've been, friends forever but now I think I'm feeling something totally new.
And after all this time I've opened up my eyes now I see, you were always with me.
The two friends started to slow dance and Connor immediately started to realize something… he loved Kira. He thought back to how many battles they'd been in together and how much she meant to him as a friend…maybe even more.
Could it be you and I, never imagined, could it be suddenly I'm falling for you, I am falling, could it be you were right here beside me and I never knew could it be that its true that it you?
Kira too started to feel something she started to realize how much Connor meant to her and even though Trent had seen her as a confidant she mostly just had a crush on him. Weirdly when the three of them were exposed to the space rock the fashion, girly side of her had found him pretty cute in his weird, dorky, intelligent ways at the time.
The two looked into each other's eyes and the next thing the knew their lips were pressed against each others.
Connor pulled away, sorry I-I_ I don't know what came over me. Kira put her finger to his lips '' shh, I felt it too'' and went back for another round.
From the doorway Ethan smiled at himself. '' all this and I can game too''.
Well everyone that was my first attempt and I hope to be publishing more soon. Also I know, I'm not exactly the greatest with grammar :P
