"… that man didn't returned yet." Mirii's arms were resting on the counter, as her sight was on the still closed door. "I wonder what he's doing inside that room…"

A lock-like sound came from the door, as the girl's ears rose. The man came out from the room, pulling the door and almost brought it behind the wall. He was smiling widely, rushing with a goofy stance towards the clean counter.

"I did it!" His hands picked the girl's arm, shaking it back and forth. "Just give me 5 more seconds and I will bring you the equipment, the paper rules and…!" He backed, swinging his arms with energy, before moving his feet back to the room.

Mirii had her mouth sealed, her eyes big and her arms bended… she giggled.

"He sure has a lot of energy!"

A loud noise crackled from the room.

"Ooooh ship, oh ship!" The man mumbled something.

Mirii's hand covered her smiling mouth, as small laughs were coming from it.

"… there!"

The man jumped out of the room, expanding his eyes and grasping a white box with both his hands.

"… are you ready to become even happier?!" He grins, passing around the counter and thrusting the box in the direction of the girl. "Take this, please!"

"Thank you for the support, sir." Mirii grabbed the box, smiling and closing her eyes. "I haven't seen such enthusiasm over your job…"

"I'm always happy to make Squids happy!" He nodded, now breathing calmly. "What's your name?"

Her head tilted in a direction.

"… instead of asking me that, shouldn't you give me a paper to compile or ask ID card"

The man chuckled loudly, as sweat covered his face and his hands were behind her back.

"I prefer keeping things… happy and without thoughts."

"Eh?" Mirii's eyebrow rose.

"C-come on, tell me your name!" His hand went behind her shoulders, rubbing on them. "As in we are becoming friends!"

Mirii's head rose.

"Suspicious… how come he doesn't want any documents…?"

"Hey… something wrong?" He pushed her shoulders a bit in his direction. "You are making a face…!"

"I was thinking about your question, mister." Mirii smiled a bit.

"Thinking?" He chuckled briefly.

"… I also prefer keeping things happy and without thoughts." Her eye winked. "While adding a sweet mystery side to it."

"Aaaah!" He slowly nodded, as his eyelids lowered to the middle. "So, you are a mysterious little Squid…!"

Mirii's face went a little paler.

"Th-that face…!"

"Ok! I will respect your decision of keeping your name hidden…!" His hands went up, as he took some steps backwards. "I like your style, whoever you are…"

A sweat drop appeared on her head…

"… well!" He clapped. "My job is done: with the equipment in your hands, you can now go and explore the whole building as you please!"

His arms opened wide.

"Just remember to gather as much happiness as you can! If you have any doubts, return to the reception room…" His eyelids lowered to the middle. "I'll be always here to help you…"

"… I will keep that in mind, sir." She turned behind, looking at a corridor's entrance. "Is that the correct direction?"

"Sure, sure!" The man walked towards the counter, going right behind it. "I suggest you to reach the changing room, first, so you can store all your valuables safely and get properly ready for the various activities."

"Alright." Mirii nodded, while pointing her face over the man. "Thank you for the information." She began moving towards the corridor.

Her mouth downturned, as she crossed the beginning of the hallway. Her head turned to the right, admiring a glass who was stretching for the entire hallway, showing a pool with Inkling water inside it. A group of Squids, two blue, one orange and one yellow were all hanging on the Inkling water's surface, some of them had their eyes closed while aiming at the ceiling.

"As I suspected, they have relaxing hot baths… how come the clients are using the other form, though?" Her eyes squeezed a bit. "Is that a rule I must follow…?"

Her head returned forward, noticing some doors on the left side.

"… what was up with that man, anyway?!" She sighed, shivering in a moment. "He had a face, that… brrr! I-I can't get it off my head!" Her eyes squeezed.

Laughs were shyly coming in her ears. The girl stopped, capturing the chuckles for at least three seconds, before turning over the door right next to her. She got closer to the door, leaning her ear on it.

Again! Again!

Nooo, we will not let you win this time!

Ha ha!

Pass the ball to me!

Oops!

THUMP!

Mirii gasped, as she threw the box up in the air and let it fall in front of her feet.

Dude! You almost destroyed that door!

Ha ha ha! My head is strong!

The winner is going to pay for everyone's coffee!

Whaaaa?! No way!

Mirii's head tilted downwards, watching a clean towel sitting on the floor, a paper listing various points, a pink rubber band, a thin book titled "Happy Squid Land: Beginner's Guide for the Happiness" and a small watch with the strap made in sponge.

"Uhm? A watch?" The girl bended down and picked up the item. "What kind of purpose would it have…?"

Her hand pushed one of the buttons on the side: the word "TEST" appeared on its LCD screen.

"Test? Test of what?" Her eyes squeezed a bit. "I don't understand…"

She frowned a bit.

"… I haven't visited a single machine or utilized one of their services yet and I have already plenty of evidences to uncover."

She throws the watch inside in the box, which had another towel inside.

"Once I reach this dressing room, I will start the investigations by reading this small book I received." Her head rose. "… and hopefully, I will improve my mood during the whole process." She smiled a bit.
