When Kira and Connor broke away from their kiss they heard footsteps walk towards them.

'' Its about time'' came one.

The pair turned around and saw Ethan, Trent ( who had gotten away from his date), Hayley and Tommy.

'' Trent, sorry I-I '' Kira stammered.

Trent smiled and put his hand in front of him. '' Look its obvious we both just had crushes on each other and nothing else, plus I think I can speak for all four of us when I say that we were waiting for this to happen from the start''. This was met with three heads nodding in agreement.

'' So where do we go from now''? Connor asked Kira outside the hall.

'' What do you mean''.

'' You want to be a singer and I want to be playing for the Reefside Wave, our lives are headed in two separate directions, what do we do now''?

Kira was silent for a while which did she choose, her kinda ,sorta maybe boyfriend who she definitely loved or her music career something she'd wanted for years, but wait what if there was a way to have both?

'' I'll stay local'' Kira said.

'' Are you serious, ever since I met you you've wanted to be a singer and-

'' I can do that here McKnight and I'll be a music lecturer at Reefside University''.

'' A lecturer? You hate kids also are you sure your future is with Reefside''?

'' First off, being a lecturer gives me time to free up so I can be with you and work on my own music, the pay is good and the people I'll be teaching should be about 19-20something years old so they aren't kids''. 'And secondly''. Kira looked at Connor and pecked him on the cheek. '' My future isn't with Reefside Connor, my future is with you''.

'' Wooo'' Ethan clapped from behind them.

'' I told you, pay up'' Trent smirked next to him, then looked at Tommy and Hayley who handed him each 5 dollars.

The pair turned round and saw their friends walk towards them.

Connor spotted the money in Trent's pocket.

'' Did you bet on whether or not we'd get together tonight''? he asked.

Trent shrugged '' guilty''.

Tommy piped up. '' You two whether you knew it or not were going to end up together there was chemistry between you two even when I first met you''.

Connor looked at Kira. '' You're sure you want this''?

Kira nodded. '' I've never been surer in my life''.

Connor lifter her up. '' Then I guess I'll just have to support you through this'' he said lifting her up and kissing her.
