A year later Penny and Leonard came out of 4A as Sheldon and Amy came out of 4B, Penny and Sheldon both had suitcases with them.
"Everything packed for Nebraska Sheldon?"
"Of course, I presume the same applies to you Penny."
Amy said "OK, my turn to drive us to Caltech today, after work I will take you to the airport."
Leonard said "let's go folks."
9 hours later at the airport Leonard kissed his wife goodbye and shook hands with Sheldon. Amy hugged Penny and then enthusiastically kissed Sheldon.
Leonard said "OK, you kids have fun in Nebraska."
Amy "say hello to Susan for us."
Penny said "See you next Wednesday. Right Sheldon, let's get off to my mother's Physics conference.

Wednesday afternoon, the conference was over, Penny and Sheldon had said goodbye to Professor Schwartz and were on their way to the airport.
"Another Nebraska conference, I hope you had fun Sheldon."
"Indeed I did Penny, it's a good opportunity for all of us String Theorists to get together."
Then Penny's phone rang "Excuse me Sheldon, hello Sally, how are things at Caltech. Dr. Cooper and I are in Nebraska on the way to the airport, we should be back to work at Caltech tomorrow. No I haven't forgotten about the meeting tomorrow morning, email me your latest thesis chapter and I will read it on the plane, see you tomorrow."
"Let me guess, your PhD student is panicking again?"
"Yes she is, I don't know why, she is doing fine and on course to get her PhD next year."
"I wasn't like that when I was a PhD student."
"I bet you weren't Sheldon. Can you call Amy or Leonard when we get to the airport and give them an ETA, I need to look at this thesis chapter."
Thirty minutes later at the airport.
"Hello Amy's phone, Leonard speaking, Amy is driving us home Sheldon."
"Hello Leonard, flight is delayed, ETA 10pm California time."
"No problem, we will see you then, have a good flight."
Before they boarded Penny was busy looking at her students thesis chapter when she got another email from Caltech.
"Oh great, I have been invited to a meeting with Professor Kripke tomorrow afternoon :-("
