You are proceeding splendidly! You are literally sparkling, while moving safely around the nastier Squids!
Mirii's eyelids were lowered on the middle, as she was sliding on the open but blurry sea.
"I must be near this cave by now…" She sighed. "Come on…!" Her eyes squeezed. "Just a few feet away from the goal…!"
Now, try diving a bit more… you should see the entrance and the large block!
As she gently opened her eyes back, she could identify a stiff block sunk on the sand, with an arc-shaped hole right on the corner in front of Mirii.
"I can see the entrance!" She increased her pace. "Finally!"
Wait, wait! Three Squids are coming in your way!
"Curses!" She stops, immediately turning around. "From where?!"
… ah no, they are moving away… phew!
Mirii groaned.
"Were you paying attention?!"
As much as I do when I see a hot-dogfish on a plate! Actually, even more than that!
"Hmpf… whatever." She resumed her dive. "Do myself a favor and keep a close eye over my enemies…"
Yes ma'am! I'm going to muster the best concentration yet for this 20-seconds job!
Mirii chuckled a bit.
… I could already start telling you about that Kelly name you pronounced.
"I'm not inside the cave yet… be patient." Some sweat appeared on her forehead.
Patient? Nah! I will tell you right away!
"Penny!" She frowned, as more sweat began raising on her face.
It's a little fun fact too…! You know, that name keeps returning in my dreams…
"Dreams?" Her eyes squeezed a bit.
The Squid arrived in front of the entrance, as she slowed down and carefully peeking right into it.
Recently, I have been dreaming of being this young girl… past the 14th age I'm sure.
"Penny, I don't really trust this cave…" She moved backwards, while standing vertically. "… can you tell me its contents?"
Aside from having this thick darkness? Well, let's see…
"Eh eh!" Her eyes closed for a short period. "She is surprisingly good at being a comedian…! No matter the situation, she always manages to make me smile with her jokes!" Her face frowned slightly. "But at the same time… this skill of hers might come from those 'researches' they are making in this complex… she's even interested into testing me for refining her comedy abilities."
Mirii turned behind, seeing small dots that look like Squids…
"I can't afford myself to lower my guard like this… I must protect my mind from being manipulated by her speech and expose her, whenever she attempts to trick me with her plans!"
The darkness doesn't lie: this cave is fully empty!
"Pffff!" Returning forward, Mirii's tentacles went in front of her mouth. "Yo-you and your jokes!"
Eh eh! It was too gold to let it be on the sidewalk…! In any case, I'm so glad this sight can pass through those blocks too! Wish I could do that in real life: I can see whenever Kyle is sneaking my booked hot-dogfish inside his office or not!
"Ha ha!" Mirii advanced inside the cave, as the darkness instantly covered her fully. "Sigh… if only I know the best way for keeping my laughs inside…!"
So, is the cave comfortable?
"I can't see anything around me… nor did I tested it properly." Mirii snorted, as she went down on the sand and sit on it. "… I'm growing a suspicion, though…"
The darkness is as harmless as I am in a fight!
"It-it's not the darkness that makes me wonder." Her eyes closed. "It's about those lifeless machines chasing me in this virtual realm…"
Ah… as far as I can tell, those Squids are just wandering around. If it wasn't for the previous battles you had, I would assume that they are just innocent citizens…
"Citizens who do not possess any propriety, nor goals?" Her tentacles folded. "Bah…"
Is the 'Splat the player' goal valid?
"I'm not asking you to question my statements." Mirii's head went on the sand. "Let me relax, now…"
Huh… you are starting to like this place.
"I would rather stay in a real cave who has nothing but rocks to stand on…" She flipped to her right side. "Uff… those glasses are heavier than I thought… at least this position is not too stressful to bare…"
As I was saying before, I kept dreaming about being this young girl who must be slightly past her 14th age.
Mirii's tentacles stretched as much as possible…
I remember being in this house who must have like 3 floors in total! Depending from the dream I have, I usually hang around with a random Inkling that claims to be living in this house just like me.
"Her dream is really pandering on my ears…" Her right tentacle went near her eye. "If I try covering them, will she notice…? … hmm?" Her left eye opened slightly. "How come she's not talking"
Unfortunately, I don't remember a good chunk of those dreams…
"Draaat!" Her tentacles pressed on her head's sides.
Although, I can tell you the one where I did some work with a girl who was literally twice my size.
Mirii flipped on the other side, rubbing herself on the soft sand.
For some reason, I was supposed to cut the grass down… the oddness is from the grass itself that looked already done. This girl couldn't stop complaining about it… but she never retreated from it or anything. Aside from thaaatt… … huh, I don't remember it as well as I thought…!
"Useless…" Her head shook. "Completely"
However, I remember that I picked up a piece of paper at some point and drew a lawnmower on it. Before I know it, the giantess had her hands on the same item I was thinking of!

I have the sensation that the drawing part is a recurring thing in my dreams… but I'm not that sure. Ironically, I remember being an absolute tea fanatic when I can't even stand that beverage in real life! The irony is stinging me so much, I don't think I have dreamed a single hot-dogfish in this house!
"Wh… wh-what…" Her eyes were completely shut.
In those dreams, I was quite happy myself… I even made spins and ballerina-steps from time to time! Again, so ironic considering how non-active I am normally…!
"IT-IT CAN'T BE!" Her eyelids went back up. "HOW IN THE WORLD DID SHE DREAMED ABOUT KELLY?! WHAT'S THE REASON BEHIND"
You know… sometimes, when I wake up from those dreams… I don't know why, but I can't remember my real self and still act like this Kelly! It can take up to 10 minutes, before I start knowing me again… and when that happens, I remember exactly all the strange things I did! Isn't this super-odd or anything?!
"… I agree." Her head rose.
Usually, when that happens, I feel pain in my brain's right hemisphere. Although, when I was talking with Kyle… that pain returned! It felt even stronger than usual too!
"… this requires a further investigation." Her eyes squeezed a bit. "And I know exactly the first step I need to take on such regard… is Kelly aware of this situation?!"
