Tell Me How To Fix You

Chapter 55

By: The Duchess of Arendelle

AN: Hi and happy new year! I hope it's been a good one for you all, 2016 was crazy, here's hoping for a better 2017. Anyway, here's an update. Sorry for any and all mistakes.

Anna chewed lightly on her bottom lip as she glanced back and forth between Elsa and her cell. The blonde was currently in the kitchen, earnestly washing their dinner dishes. Anna had offered to help, but Elsa insisted she do them herself. So there Anna sat, waging an internal battle in her mind over what Rapunzel had suggested. Maybe she should meet up with Dr. Porter before telling Elsa about her plan. What if it turned out the woman wasn't the right fit for Elsa? What if she was too pushy? Too hard on the blonde? What if she just wanted to band-aide her problems by burying Elsa in medication she didn't necessarily need? 'What if I'm just chickening out right now because things are going really great for Elsa and I lately and I don't want to sabotage our relationship?'

Anna shook the last thought from her head. She wasn't chickening out, but she was starting to put stock into Rapunzel's suggestion. With a heavy, resolute sigh, she unlocked her phone and pulled up the newly added number. Pressing the little message box beside it, she nervously began to tap out her text.

ANNA SUMMERS: Hi Dr. Porter, this is Anna Summers, my friend Aurora Rose may have warned you I'd be contacting you soon. I apologize for this impromptu text so late at night, but I was wondering, well hoping really, if it would be possible to meet up soon? Maybe tomorrow even? I'd like to talk to you about helping my girlfriend with her problem. I hope to hear from you soon.

"And send…" Anna murmured to herself. She closed her eyes and and burrowed down deeper into the couch when she heard the woosh sound that informed her the text had been sent. She knew it was kind of rude and unprofessional to just text someone out of the blue like that, especially at 10:30 at night, but she really needed to see the psychiatrist as soon as possible. Opening her eyes and glancing back towards the kitchen, she smiled to herself as she watched Elsa dry the blue plates and place them back into the cupboard. The blonde was humming silently to herself and she had the smallest hint of a content smile on her face.

Anna startled slightly when she felt the phone vibrate in her hand. She looked at the screen in surprise as she saw the name JANE PORTER appear next to a short text.

JANE PORTER: Ms. Summers, Ms. Rose did indeed inform me of your potential call, or in this case text. I'm available at all times for my clients so don't worry about the lateness of the hour. I have a short window of availability to meet you around 2:30 tomorrow afternoon. You could meet me at my office if you wish or someplace else. You may also bring your girlfriend if you'd like. And please, it's just Jane, dear.

Anna tried to covertly look back towards the kitchen to see if Elsa had finished washing the small amount of dishes. She noticed the blonde putting away the last of the cups and quickly began to type back a response.

ANNA SUMMERS: Wow, didn't expect a response back so quickly… Thank you! Tomorrow at 2:30? I think I can swing it. Your office is fine, just text me your address and I'll be there. Unfortunately Elsa will not, that's part of her... condition? But we'll get into that tomorrow. Again, thank you Jane, and I insist you call me Anna. I will see you tomorrow at 2:30.

Anna hit send just as the blonde gently took back up the seat next to her. Anna smiled at the blonde and hurriedly placed her phone on the coffee table.

"All done?" she asked with a smile and only the slightest nervous tremble in her voice. Elsa attempted to return the smile as she nodded.

"Yes, all done. I'm sorry it took so long, I just... I really needed to…" She trailed off as Anna placed a hand on her cheek and lightly brought her in for a kiss. Lips gently crashed together as Anna tilted her head, deepening the kiss. Elsa, caught off guard for a moment, quickly regained her wits and reciprocated the kiss. Anna let out a soft, startled gasp when she felt Elsa nibble the bottom of her lip in a surprisingly bold move for the blonde. She felt the stirrings of arousal begin in the pit of her stomach and decided she really, really needed to end the kiss before she reached the point of no return. Breathlessly breaking away, Anna pecked the blonde's lips once before whispering;

"It's fine Elsa. You don't have to explain it to me."

This elicited a smile from the blonde and she looked away for the briefest of seconds before looking back at the gorgeous redhead before her. 'How did I get so lucky?' she thought to herself as she watched Anna bring the large snowflake throw blanket around them. Pressing play back on Netflix, she snuggled closer to the redhead.

Bzz bzz

Elsa barely caught the sound of the buzzing cell phone over Jessica Lange's rant, but looking down at the coffee table she noticed the text preview on Anna's phone screen.

"JANE PORTER: The address is 1548 Sheppard Ave. I'm very excited to…"

The preview ended there and Anna's screen faded to black. Furrowing her brow, Elsa glanced over at the redhead who was still fixated on the television.

Confused, she looked back at the t.v., not really paying attention to what was on the screen as her mind ran a million miles a minute. 'Who is Jane Porter?'

AN: Hope you all enjoyed the update. Received a new MacBook for Christmas so I can start updating more frequently. (Yay!) The next story I will be updating is 'Here Comes the Sun' though, but I will be updating this again soon (fingers crossed) Here's also hoping 2017 will be the year I can update my stories more often and maybe even at least write some new one shots or something. Anyway, again, hope you enjoyed, see ya soon!
