"… and that's all I had to endure inside that nightmare they called 'Happy Squid Land'." Mirii was sitting on her knees, which were resting on the cushion.
Hun's mouth opened wide, while sitting with his knees down on another cushion.
"It was a nightmare indeed…" His mouth closed, as he formed a sad expression on his face.
"But now it's all gone." Mirii nodded, while smiling. "That's what it matters the most, in the end."
Hun smiled too.
"Although…" He sighed. "I could have come with you, instead of staying here…"
Mirii blushed, while enlarging her eyes, shrinking her irises and flattening her mouth.
"Yo-you needed to heal, Hunley!" She sighed in less than a second. "I-I couldn't make you come with me, while you were under your previous state…!"
"Groan… I don't understand…" His head shook slowly. "Why I'm so… so connected with that other form?!" His eyes squeezed. "I normally keep this one… but I'm so useless overall!" Opening back his eyes, he stands up. "What can I do to improve this form, Mirii?! What I must do?!"
Her mouth opened wide for a moment… then, she rose her eyebrows and thought intensively.
"Hunley… you should not feel ashamed of your pure form." She smiled a bit. "Yes, I call it 'pure' since it's said to be the original shape of Squid kind…"
"R-really?" He bended forward, growing his eyes out.
"I can confirm it." She stands up, smiling a bit more and nodding. "In fact, I…" She blushes a lot. "… I admire your unique, powerful skills…"
Hun blushed too, lifting back his posture. Mirii twirled her right tentacle, as she looked over the wall to her left.
"It's truly a display of perfection, when it comes to follow the Kraken principle…" She giggled, as she blushed even more. "… I-I always thought that such power suited your personality m-more than any other weapon known to Squid-kind…" Her eyes closed. "Although, if you could add a secondary weapon in your arsenal, you would follow perfection all-around…"
Her mind was seeing herself hugging Hun in his Squid form… her nose released magenta ink, as her hand covered it almost instantly.
"W-well…!" He looked down, smiling and blushing, as he observed a small hole coming from the floor. "… I-I still like that other form, don't get me wrong… … you know, I could still train a bit more with that skill…"
"A-anyway!" Her head shook, as her hand went down and her face pointed at the boy. "Hunley, we must return back inside the villa…"
"Ah, right!" He semi-shook. "Actually, I was on my way for this room… that's because my sister went back home, as the others told me."
His head was still down, this time turning around and inspecting the floor. He walked away from the cushion, while looking at a piece of paper depicting a blue spiral, which was down on the ground.
"Is this the way back home?" His forefinger pointed at the paper.
"Correct." Mirii walked towards it, as her head rose. "We were away from the villa for quite a while… if we don't come back soon enough, they will start wondering where we are right now."
"You are right as usual!" Hun nodded, clenching his fists for a brief moment. "Although… what are we going to do, if we encounter an ordinary Squid near the villa?"
"That's a wonderful question, Hunley!" Mirii lowered her head, while folding her arms. "… uhm… the location isn't really that hidden… … I think we can use the paper without any worries."
"Are you sure…?" His head was accurately aiming at the moving girl.
"First of all, what kind of ordinary Squid would lurk around the villa?" She opened her right arm, now looking over the spiral drawn on the paper. "Second, Paparazzi don't usually hide behind villas... nor are interested into take pictures of non-famous Squids like us."
"I see…" His shoulders lowered. "Th-that's a good thing, at least!" He smiled a bit. "If by Paparazzi you mean Squids…"
Mirii giggled.
"Oh, Hunley…" She sighed. "… let's go, now."
She turned into a Squid, jumping on the paper and diving inside it. She swam through the world of paper, immediately springing out of it and returning in her humanoid form in midair. Her feet landed near the paper and her hands pressed on the soft ground.
"Phew… I'm almost there…" The girl turned behind, looking carefully at the paper. "This whole task tired me greatly, aside from the games I had to defeat…"
Her hands went down. Hun jumped out from the paper, turning into his humanoid self almost immediately. He went to the right side, as he landed on both his feet and opened his arms wide.
"Th-that was close!" He stretched his back upwards, aiming his eyes at Mirii. "I wasn't expecting that big launch from the paper!"
"Hunley, be careful about those items…" She walked closer to him, quickly caressing her right tentacle once. "It's not possible to figure out, if they are trustworthy or not."
"… I will try remember it, Mirii." He grins a bit, putting his hand behind his neck. "Ehm… where are we now?"
The girl looked to her right, seeing the familiar walls of the villa.
"We are back home…" She turned behind, seeing some of the trees in the distance. "We just need to return in our respective rooms."
"Nice!" He smiled, as he began walking past the girl. "Fara must be worried about me…!"
Mirii followed Hun, reaching his right side. Her ears rose, however… all the sudden, she twisted 180° behind while frowning. A young Inkling girl wearing a dress was peeking from the bush on the left. Mirii's forefinger pointed at the bush.
"You! Paparazzi!" She rushed over the bush, while showing her teeth. "Would you stop putting your nose into others' affairs?!"
Hun turned behind, watching the girl speeding away from him.
"W-wait for me!" He sprinted after the agile girl, while waving his arm. "Don't go alone!"
The girl gasped, rolling out of the bush and dashing away. Mirii's eyes squeezed a bit.
"… is she a true Paparazzi…?"
The young lady went towards the right corner, successfully moving behind it. Mirii gritted her teeth, as she accelerated her run.
"Come back here!" She panted. "Uff… uff!"
Once near the corner, she immediately twisted over it and saw Greta with her hands on her hips. Mirii expanded her eyes, as she slid on the ground before stopping. The mysterious girl was standing behind the taller one, shaking and hiding as much as she could.
"Wh-what's the meaning of this?!" Mirii frowned.
"Wanna hear it?" Greta closed her eyes. "You will be in for a surprise!"
Hun just popped out from the left corner.
"Grina!" He opened his mouth, keeping a slower pace than before. "Wh-what are you doing here?!"
"I'm here to announce, farm boy." Greta smiled, while stepping on the right. "We got some work to do with little Squid over here!"
"… who's she, Greta?" Mirii's head rose, as her eyes squeezed.
"Already with the smart questions? You sure don't like time-wastin' shenanigans!" Greta shrugged. "How about I tell you the facts, while we walk over the briefing room?"
"… weren't you supposed to work inside the studios?" Mirii's irises pointed at the young girl walking on tiptoes…
Greta's eyes closed, while grinning slightly.
"Little Squiddy, if you keep running away like a scared seacat… I will reveal your real name to the two Squids in front of me."
She froze, while lifting her tentacles upwards. Greta nodded slowly.
"That's better!" She turned behind, walking towards her. "Still… you gotta work out with that patience of yours!" She sighed. "Not all areas are treasure-hunt quests!"
"Greta…" Mirii got a sprinting start, slowing down once near her friend. "… could you please start explaining the situation?" She snorted.
Hun stopped on Mirii's left side, keeping a similar pace.
"Hold your tentacles will ya!" Greta patted the young lady, as she chuckled. "Let me help out Miss 3, first!"
"Miss 3…?" Mirii frowned a bit.
"A.k.a. Agent 3." Greta pushed her a bit.
Agent 3 began walking, sighing loudly. The two were directed over the white stairs connected to the entrance.
"Agent… 3?!" Mirii's frown grew slightly. "Why she has such number?!"
"Doesn't this remind you of something?" Greta turned her shoulders, as her right iris was resting on the right corner. "Think about it for a sec!" She grins a bit. "I know you can do it…"
"… Agent… 3…" Mirii's eyes closed. "… ah!" The eyes reopened.
"Did you figure it out, Mirii?!" Hun kept his sight glued on the walking girl.
Mirii frowned.
"She… she is related to them, somehow?!"
"I wouldn't really call it like that… buuuuutt she has her own story to tell!" Greta stepped on the first stair steps. "Story, which I will briefly explain inside the briefing room…"
Agent 3 began climbing the stairs too, as she looked over the trees and bushes… her mind was seeing herself getting closer to the collection of bushes and find red eggs inside them.
"Why you have to answer for this… Agent 3?" Mirii's head rose, as her foot stomped on the first stair step.
"Weeelll… not that I like stealin' the spotlight or anything…" Greta opened her arms, while shaking her head. "… but this girl doesn't talk at all."
"Sh-she doesn't talk?!" Hun's irises shrunk. "Wh-why not?!" His hands went on his head, almost stumbling from the stairs. "Is that a"
"Before you say some funky stuff, Hunry… Agent 3 can talk when she wants to!" Greta chuckled, stepping on the last steps. "However, she never says a single word… well, except for grunts and various sounds!"
Agent 3 turned her shoulders, showing her downturned mouth at Hun… Mirii grimaced a bit.
"Do you happen to know the reason why she doesn't talk…?" Her head tilted to the right.
"… if I knew that, I would had helped Agent 3 out." Greta passed the stairs, now aiming at the main door. "But let's not stress her too much now… otherwise she will start grabbing her weapon and spread ink everywhere!"
Mirii finished climbing the last stair steps, while analyzing her own questions…
"… I still don't know enough to understand what's going on… aside from knowing this odd Squid." She took a quick look over Hun.
He was walking towards her left side once more.
"… hmm..." She looked over the entrance door. "Let's see what kind of situation I and Hunley have to solve next…"
