"Hunley…" Mirii's head left Hun's shoulders, as she kept smiling and blushing. "… shall we move inside?" She nodded.
"Yes." He nodded too, as his hand was slowly going over her right one. "… w-would you…"
Mirii's hand went up on her cheek, as her mouth opened wide.
"S-sorry!" His face sweated, as his wrists went on his chest.
Her head lowered, as her hands went behind her back.
"L-let's get going, Hunley…" She whispered. "… before that man starts suspecting on us…"
"R-right!" He walked towards the door.
"Hunley!" She dashed after him, raising her eyebrows. "N-not like that! Wait!"
He stopped, as he squeezed his eyes and stretched his arms down. Mirii's hands grabbed his left arm, as her head went back on his shoulders.
"Like this…" Her eyes closed. "A truly perfect pose…"
The girl moved her feet forward, pulling the boy gently. His feet were stepping again on the sidewalk, going over the opened door.
"Ooooooh!" Kelly's eyes sparkled, pointing Mirii's smartphone over the two once more. "This one is sooo cute!" She grinned, while tapping on the screen.
Mirii frowned.
"Kelly! Focus more on your surroundings!"
Click.
Mirii blushed a lot.
"Nnnnnngghh!"
"Tee hee hee!" Kelly lowered the smartphone, while shaping her mouth in a downturned 3. "Can I have this one?"
"NO!" Her eyes opened wide.
Pol's eyebrows lowered slightly, while folding his arms. Her irises shrunk, as her mouth flattened.
"Now you have done it, Kelly!" Hun frowned.
The little girl's face went paler, as she stumbled.
"We are going to have a little discussion over this…" His eyes closed. "… I don't like this bad behavior you are having towards us!"
Hun pulled Mirii, walking rapidly over the opened door and diving inside it. Kelly was still there, observing the path took by the two… as her eyes went watery.
"… M-Master Huuuuunn!" She dashed at full speed. "I'm soooo sooorrryyyyy!"
Her feet hit the sidewalk, as her hands opened wide: as she was falling down, her eyes were seeing the smartphone rolling up in the air… passing above Mirii… and descending towards the floor.
ZIP!
The smartphone fell on Kelly's stomach, as her arms were stretching on the floor. Mirii gasped, as she bounced on Hun's arms and stared at the girl on the floor, which sighed loudly… Pol tilted over the opened door, watching the two and keeping his previous expression.
"… enough! I HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR STUPIDITY!" Mirii jumped off Hun's arms, as she rushed over Kelly. "GIVE ME BACK MY SMARTPHONE, YOU IDIOT!"
She dived, landing on the floor.
"CURSES!" Her head twisted around, while punching the floor. "GRRRRRR!"
"A-are you alright?!" Hun bended down, as his hands went on Mirii's sides.
She began panting visibly, yet silently. Her head pointed at Hun, whose face was showing sadness. Her eyes closed, as she took a deep breath.
"… forgive me for that…" Her hands grabbed his right one, as she smiled at him. "I-I need the bathroom so much… I-I tripped accidentally…"
CLANG!
The boy turned behind, watching the door closed.
"… ehm…" A sweat drop appeared on his head, as he pulled the girl upwards. "… where are we, exactly…?" He turned around.
The walls and the floor had a dark tone on it, as various red-like lights were pointing each on the floor while hanging on the ceiling. Two doors were standing on the right side and some posters on the left side. A door was appearing in front of the two Inklings.
"This is an area of Happy Squid Land…" Mirii walked closer to the door on her right. "I don't recall being here, before…"
A tag was standing on the door, reading "Couple Course 1". Her eyes squeezed a bit.
"… we should explore this room, first…" Her hand curled into a fist. "Where is that idiotic Squid?!"
I know I almost made your smartphone fall down… but why are you saying bad words at me?!
Her fist stopped one inch away from the door's surface.
"… Kelly, give me back my smartphone." She snorted. "I no longer trust you"
I just retrieved it in time! Be gentle with me!
"Kelly, where are you?" Hun frowned a bit, walking over Mirii. "Why you ran away?"
Because Mirii would attack me like a wild animal…!
"What did you said?!" Her head rose, while growling and gritting her teeth.
I'm not away from the scene, by the way… I'm just invisible in front of your eyes. If you need to take photos, I can still do that just fine…
"I don't want you to take more photos!" Her fist hit the door. "Give me back my smartphone!"
"M-Mirii!" Sweat covered Hun's forehead, while looking at Mirii's fist pressing on the door.
The girl's eyes expanded, as her left hand grabbed her fist and pulled it back away.
"Come in!"
…
Mirii sighed, as her hand went on the door handle and opened it slowly… looking at an anemone woman with her hair down, sitting on an oval chair. On her left side, a circular pool full of Inkling water and two clear cushions floating on it.
"Aaaaww, today's couple is a cute one!" The woman was hugging her tablet, while smiling widely.
Mirii blushed a lot, while frowning slightly.
"Cute one! Cute one!" A small clownfish popped out from the top of the woman's head.
Hun walked near the girl's side, as he stared at the pool.
"… what's this?" He looked back at the woman. "Who are you?"
"I'm Anna!" The woman giggled. "I'm the supervisor of the first course for couples…!"
"I'm NoName!" The fish swam back inside her hair. "I'm NoName!"
"NoName…?" Mirii's hand caressed her right tentacle.
"Ha ha!" Anna's eyes closed, while lifting her left hand near her cheek. "He saw that name on my computer, a long time ago… and he immediately wanted it as his name!"
"But if you say NoName, doesn't that mean…" Hun scratched his head, while lowering his eyebrows.
"Hunley." Mirii's head rose. "We are not allowed to learn the affairs of the others… rather, we are here to enjoy the courses offered to us."
"This one is a little taste of the real deal." Anna nodded. "Same for the room next door. I highly advice to try out the two free courses, before deciding to purchase a course set."
"Isn't the reception located in the other way?" Mirii's eyes squeezed a bit.
"There are two of those." Anna lifted her posture. "The first one is at the entrance, which is active in both daytime and night... it's also known as 'the main one'. The second reception is behind the door at the end of this hallway… it's only active at night and allows you to purchase set couple courses only."
"So, you call it 'the second one'…?" Hun's head tilted to his right.
"Actually, we call it 'the couple one'!" She laughed loudly. "More fitting, wouldn't you say?"
"Yes." Hun nodded.
"Sweet!" The woman's right leg went above the left one. "Now… would you like to try out this first course?"
"Try! Try!" NoName's voice was coming from below Anna's hair.
"… I don't see any VR glasses around…" Mirii's eyes squeezed, while looking at the pool. "I wonder what kind of course we are going to face…"
"What's that face of uncertainty?" The woman bended forward, while smiling at Mirii. "Even though I'm a supervisor, I can still answer all the questions you want…!"
"… I think you should explain the basics of this course." Mirii turned over the woman, while folding her arms. "Because I don't see anything particular about this pool."
"Isn't it a bit too small for us?" Hun walked towards the pool, inspecting it with his eyes. "… it is! Those cushions would be big enough to hold our smaller form…!"
"That's the idea!" Anna stands up, while her smiling mouth opened in the process. "You have to turn into your pure form and relax on those cushions! The pool is filled with Inkling water, by the way."
"We have to turn into the other form, because of Happy Squid Land's main rule…" Mirii walked over the pool, looking at the orange-colored clear cushion on the right. "… am I right?"
"What rule?" Hun aimed at his friend.
"We have to keep our pure form, Hunley…" Mirii nodded. "It's the whole theme behind this building."
"Exactly that!" Anna clapped twice. "As a first test, you simply need to relax on those cushions and let the pool massage your back in the most natural way possible!"
"That sounds rather… delicate for a place known to be wild at night." Mirii stared at the green-colored cushion floating on the left side. "… is there something else behind this simple course? How can I figure it out…?"
"Give it a try, come on!" Anna's hands pointed at the pool, while looking at the two Inklings.
Mirii and Hun stared at each other.
"… I'm ready." He smiled. "You?"
"… I'm ready as well, Hunley." She smiled. "Ready to keep my eyes open."
The boy turned into a Squid, as he jumped towards the green cushion and dived into the Inkling water, forming a small wave that hit the girl. She gasped, while stretching her arms down and opening her hands wide.
"Hunley!" She frowned, as Inkling water was dripping from her clothing.
"Oops!" Hun emerged from the water, as his tentacles shrugged. "I went too fast…"
"… now it's my turn." Mirii smiled, while keeping her eyebrows down. "Feast your eyes on how to perfectly dive inside a pool!"
She rushed, as she jumped and turned into a Squid in midair.
SPLASH!
Mirii's head emerged while laughing loudly. Hun laughed too, as he pushed the water's surface with his tentacles over her face, releasing a small wave in her direction. Mirii got hit by the water, as she pushed its surface over his face. The cushions were dancing on the produced waves and some water spilled out from the poll's borders.
"I want to play too!" NoName popped out from the top of Anna's head. "I want to play too!"
"Tomorrow, I'm going to fill up your favorite bowl and let you play there." Anna nodded. "Deal?"
"Deal!" He jumped, while closing his eyes. "It's even better!"
The Squids kept splashing towards each other… as Kelly slowly appears in front of the door. She was smiling, while carrying the smartphone in front of her face…
