The door opened, as Mirii walked out from the room. Hun was following her, closing the door once he exited the room.

"I'm amazed by how such little pool can massage your back with the simple use of a cushion…" She giggled, while turning behind and closing her eyes. "We should consider adding this neat item in our villa… it would perfectly relieve our stress with ease."

"It's also a fun, little game we can play together…" Hun nodded.

Reopening her eyes, Mirii giggled once more.

I want that pool too! My little brother will so love it!

"I wonder what the second course will offer to us." She walked towards the door near the end of the hallway.

"Perhaps something like the first one?" Hun went after her, while smiling.

"… I don't know…" She stopped in front of the door. "It would be wise to not lower our guard in any case…" She knocked on the door. "Perfection never does, after all."

Glass cracking sounds came from the closed door. Her ears rose.

"Wh-what was that?!" Hun frowned a bit, as he put his hands on the door and rested his ear on it. "… Mirii, I don't like this… should we check?"

"Let me think about it…" Mirii's head rose.

"Oh… alright." He went away from the door, while staring at it.

"Kelly, inspect the room for us. Tell us everything you see." Her eyes squeezed a bit.

Uff… I don't want to help you…

"Kelly!" Mirii frowned. "Don't you dare acting like an obstacle on us!"

I'm an obstacle only over you! I would never go against Master Hun…

"Kelly, please… don't hate Mirii…" Hun sighed, while looking upwards.

… I don't really hate her… but she can be sooo nasty, sometimes!

Mirii's hands went on her head, while her eyes expanded, her irises shrunk and her eyebrows went as down as possible.

"We are here dealing with a situation of seconds and she's wasting her time with"

The door opened, as an Inkling man was immediately leaning over the two: he was wearing a white coat, huge glasses and had the middle-upper teeth sticking out from his mouth.

"Welcome!" The man pulled the door more, as he went completely behind it. "Please, come in!"

The girl's eyes were seeing a broken bottle on the floor, with some liquid spread around it. The boy's eyes were seeing a large, clear block with thin walls, filled with Inkling water and situated on the top-right corner of the room.

A computer was sitting on a desk situated on the room's left side, as a large cupboard was almost covering the wall on the left side.

MIrii snorted, as she walked inside the room… Hun kept observing for a brief while, before stepping in and looked at the large tank once more: sand was sitting on its bottom, complete with seaweeds and a broken vessel on its right side.

The man pushed the door back, closing it just as fast: he then clasped his own hands, while passing near the two Inklings.

"I would had offered you some bran, if I didn't accidentally hit it down to its doom!" He chuckled, as he bended his knees and grabbed the bottle pieces. "Aaah, the hard work of an employee…"

As he lifted himself up, he put the pieces on the desk and shook his hands, walking around the desk and stopping behind it. His hands pressed on the desk, while smiling at Mirii.

"Actually, I'm substituting a colleague…" His eyes closed. "I had exactly 1 hour, 38 minutes and 19 seconds to learn the basics of my role, before the first two customers would arrive."

Mirii growled, while shaking her head and folding her arms.

"I'm afraid that we will pass this course…"

"N-no, wait!" His hands waved sideways, as he dashed after the girl. "I learned the role! I know everything there is to say about"

"Hunley, let's go." She walked towards the door…

As he left a ricochet sound, the man went in front of the door and opened his arms wide.

"Please! Believe me!" He downturned his mouth.

Mirii stopped, while keeping her frown. Her nostrils captured a smell…

"… his breath smells terribly too!" Her teeth gritted. "There is no way I'm talking with this fool!"

"Mirii…" Hun's eyebrows went up, as he bended towards the girl. "… aren't you getting a bit too hasty over this?"

"This man is unfitting for its job." Mirii's forefinger pointed at the man's face. "And if he doesn't step aside, we are going to punish him with the use of the law!"

"Th-the law?!" The man's face went paler. "You mean, you are going to call the police because of me…?"

…

"… and that's why I wanted my smartphone back, Kelly…" Her forefinger was shaking a bit, as she pulled her lips inside her mouth. "… how am I going to show him my smartphone, if it's in your hands?!"

"Yo-your eyes are saying enough…!" The man stepped on the door's side. "Ju-just promise me to not report this…!" He bowed down, as sweat jumped out from his head. "M-my mother would never accept the idea of seeing me losing this golden job…!"

"Your mother should slap you for the poor professionalism you had on our regards." Mirii walked rapidly over the door.

Hun shook his head… as he began stepping forward. The girl opened the door and exited the room, as she stopped and turned behind, watching the boy closing the door and getting closer to her.

"For such terrible service, he should learn a lesson and grow some responsibilities." Her head rose. "Wouldn't you agree, Hunley?"

"… not really…" He frowned a bit. "He didn't seem a mean person…"

"No, not 'mean'… he's simply unworthy of receiving our trust." Her hands went on her hips. "We just saved ourselves from"

"But why?!" Hun's arms opened wide. "Just because he had a silly appearance?!"

"No, no!" Mirii frowned, while clenching her fists. "He broke a bottle because of his ineptitude! He even claimed to have learned the basics of his job in one hour!"

"That wouldn't mean he knows how to do it?!" He folded his arms. "Why are you not trusting"

"Hunley, in order to accomplish any jobs perfectly…" Her hands went sideways, while almost touching with each other and standing close to her chest. "… you need experience! You cannot have experience in a hour! It's logically impossible!"

"Does he even need to be perfect at this?!" He bended his neck forward. "Didn't he said that he substituted someone for this role?!"

"That doesn't mean a thing, Hunley!" Mirii kept pointing at the boy, while showing her teeth. "What matters in such case is our own safety! We cannot let any imbeciles ruin us… no exception!"

Hun kept looking at the girl for a few seconds… then, he sighed loudly.

"… I don't know about this, Mirii…"

"I have met Squids far worse than this spongehead…" She lifted her posture, as her head rose. "He might not have been that bad… but is it really worthy to take a risk for just a simple, free course? What are we going to miss anyway?!"

"Well…" His irises went to the right. "… I wasn't enthusiastic over that filled tank, actually…"

"Same." Mirii nodded. "Thus, we shouldn't discuss this non-relevant event from the past… and focus on the present." She turned over the door at the end of the hallway.

"Ok, Mirii." He smiled. "You are right… let's forget about the past!"

Mirii smiled, as she walked towards the door and blushed a bit.

"Oh, Hunley… I knew you would understand my sophisticate logic!" Her eyes closed. "That's why you improved so much…"

"… I don't agree with Mirii at all… but I don't want to fight her over a bunch of opinions." He began walking in the direction of the girl. "She is free to believe in her opinions on the matter… as well as I'm allowed to hold my own opinions on the matter. It's a lesson I hope she learns one day…"

Mirii opened the door, facing a wooden counter with a tall Inkling woman behind it. She bowed down for a moment, as her hands went immediately above the keyboard connected to a monitor on her right side.

"So, what's your name?" Her fingers twitched.

"She doesn't even greet the customers?!" Mirii frowned slightly.

Hun stopped on the girl's right side.

"I'm-uuf!" Hun's stomach got hit by Mirii's elbow.

Instantly, he looked down at the girl: she kept raising and lowering her eyebrows, while keeping her mouth downturned.

"… I'm…" His head pointed back at the woman. "… I'm someone who wants to keep my full name hidden."

The woman's mouth opened.

"But if you do that, I can't let you two in!"

"A friend of mine told me that you can enter inside this building without divulgating any full-name…" Mirii's mouth stretched on the right side.

"It's against the rules!" The woman frowned.

"She mentioned how such act wasn't violating any rules…" Mirii's eyes closed. "Although, I can't rule out the possibility that such feature was added after my first visit… which could"

"Do I have to pull out the terms and conditions papers, together with the complete guidelines and rules we hold in this building?" She brought her arms straight down, behind the counter. "A darn nightmare I know too well, since I had to print all their words in my brain, in order to earn this job position and have the opportunity to pay my university fees properly!"

"You attend an university?" Mirii reopened her eyes.

"It's been 2 years since I first started." The woman rose back, while closing her right eye and smiling. "Not the smartest Squid of the class, but at least I can keep on going thanks to this part-time job I rightfully earned… oh, not to mention the house I had to rent in order to reach the university easily."

"I see…" The girl nodded, as her arms folded. "… in any case, I would like to give a look at those papers."

"You are squidding, right?! It's composed by tons of pages!" The woman snorted. "It takes a million years to read"

"I SAID" Mirii frowned. "I request the papers you mentioned. All of them."

The woman growled, while keeping her mouth sealed.

"… well, I can't say no to a potential customer…" The woman lowered down. "… but I won't give you those papers just yet!"

"Tsk…" Mirii's arms grasped tightly.

"You think you can read all this?" The woman rose, while holding a pile of papers who covered her whole chest. "Then, how about you prove that to me… learn the papers' contents and answer some of my questions related to it: if you lose, you are going to pay me 5000 coins… and if you win, I will give you a price cut on any course you choose!"

"You can't do that…" Mirii caressed her tentacle.

"As long as the prices are fully paid, no one is going to bat an eye on this." The woman grinned, as she put the pile in the middle of the counter.

"… how much do you cut the price?" The girl rubbed the left tentacle once.

"Half." The woman stretched her arm, while opening her hand. "Deal?"

Mirii stared at the hand in front of her face.

"… deal." She handshake the woman's hand, while nodding. "Let's see if I can find a way to follow those courses without revealing our full name to the Happy Squid Land staff… "
