As the two Inklings were walking down the hallway, Greta had her eyes on the left corner. She was shaking her head slowly and frowning.

"This place is a total wreckdown…"

"Like, I'm surprised that no police or anyone else is comin' here!" Bars chuckled, while lifting-

The girl stopped, as the boy smacked on her back.

"Whoa! Something wrong?!" He pointed his head at her.

"… that's a good point…!" Greta turned behind, showing her expanded eyes. "Isn't this another one of those Project Neo strongholds?! Why no one is storming through those offices?!"

"Girl, like… you are channeling Mi too much with those questions!" He simply grinned, putting his tentacle behind his neck.

"Mi, eh?" Her eyelids lowered to the middle, as she smiled. "You better throw off that memory, before she will throw you off!"

"So true, girl!" He laughed. "But you know… are we gonna do something about this?"

"About what?" She folded her tentacles.

"About Project Neo!" He nodded.

"Hmm… as far as I can remember, Miss Perfection wanted to take some photos of the place… and since she wants to act as a goon, that role will fall into our hands! … tentacles in our case." A sweat drop appeared on her head.

"Totally agree, girl!" He snickered visibly. "Can't wait to inspect some illegal product myself…!"

…

"You know how to think, hmm?" She grimaced slightly. "Especially when you see some sort of gain…"

"Hooow about we blow that door off?!" Bars walked over the door on the left. "We might find some treasure!"

"Someone, give me a time machine…" Her shoulders lowered, as she sighed and looked at the ceiling. "I accidentally released the protein monster…"

The boy stopped in front of the door… as he opened it with a big push! The door tilted all the way to the left, hitting the wall and exposing a dark room: only a small table containing 3 bowls of chips was visible.

"Whoa! Look at that!" He grinned widely, as he walked towards the small table. "Protein-filled chips! My dream comin' true!"

"No no no! Bad boy!" She went after him. "No touch of strange stuff!"

"What's so strange about chips?" He turned behind. "Like, you eat them all day along…!"

"What THAT has to do with the current situation?!" Her arms opened wide. "I eat certified chips, not the ones sold by Mr. Strange!"

"But there is no Mr. Strange around… I think." The boy turned around.

Her free tentacle covered her eyes, as she sighed loudly.

"… Barsy… this whole protein food I told you… it was just a bait to make you follow me in here!" The tentacle slid off, revealing her frowning face. "They do not even know what protein food is!"

"But what if they do have protein food?!" He returned over the bowls of chips, as he grinned widely. "Like, this could be one of the cases where you think you know the place, when the place knows it more!"

"Wh… where did you get that stupid idea from?!" Her head tilted, as she grimaced. "Throw off that idea of food already and help me take some"

The boy was walking towards the bowls of chips.

"BARSY!" She showed her teeth.

"Hmmm! Are those just plain chips?!" His tentacle grabbed one, as he immediately put it inside his mouth.

He munched loudly, while looking up-right…

"Like… they seem standard…" He picked another chip, rapidly chewing on it. "… yeah, totally vanilla."

"Vanilla-flavored chips?! I'm outta here!" She waved her tentacles at him, as Greta walked over the closed door on the left. "Let's see if I have some Paparazzi material to shoot…"

Once the girl reached the door, she grabbed its handle and pushed it. Darkness was filling every corner of the room… as hints of moisture were hitting her skin.

"How polite are those Squids!" Her free tentacle began patting several parts of the wall on the right. "Turning off the lights before leaving!"

Clic.

The room had Inkling water spreading on the floor, coupled with small hills and holes. On the right side, a short table filled with various diving masks. On the left side of the wall, a figure shaped like a Squid with the edges painted in red.

"… look what my net just caught!" She took her smartphone, pointing it over the shape. "An evidence rich of detailum and sugary logic."

Her smartphone's screen was depicting the shape, as the girl's tentacle pressed on the circle to the right side.

"Yum!" She puts her smartphone away, as she smiled widely. "Delicious!"

"Girl! Get over here!"

"Uuuuuggghh!" She turned behind, walking away from the room and moving over the opened door on her left. "You and your hunger for chips! If you have to throw up, please do so on the remaining ones…!"

Greta stopped in front of the opened door, noticing Bars near the wall on the right: the bulbs on the office ceiling lights were lit, pointing at the floor filled with broken candles and strapped cushions. An opened book was sitting on the ground with the pages down.

Some chips were spread around the small table's legs, while a full stereo system was leaning against the wall on the front. The girl made two steps, turning her head around…

"It sure misses the red." She slowly nodded. "… oh well!" Her tentacle grabbed her smartphone once more. "A photographer's job is never done!"

"Like, I did well picking this room… right, girl?!" Bars puffed his cheeks, as he grinned widely.

"Yeah, yeah…" She tapped on the screen, while looking at it. "… do you know how much it weights the fact you never bring that darn smartphone of yours?"

"Uh… like…" He looked upwards, while frowning a bit. "… that thing is supposed to have a weight?"

"I said fact!" Greta turned to her right side, pressing on the screen once more. "The fact that I have to take all those photos for myself! A one-lady army!"

"Aaaah, I see now!" Bars chuckled. "Well, what was the point of me carrying my smartphone anyway? Can't play a single game while I'm on my splatting down duty!"

"… it's just no use pulling him off his own 'enthusiasm'." Her head shook, as her eyes closed. "Lesson learned: never give him a reason to be this enthusiastic over any missions… no matter its trueness."

She walked towards the opened door.

"Party is not over yet, big boy." Greta passed near Bars, continuing to march over the room's exit. "We gotta take a photo of that previous room too… the red-toned variant."

"Right on, girl!" He went after her. "If there are some Squids sliding all around… leave them to Bars!"

"You can bet your Roller on that!" Once she passed through the entrance, the girl walked to the right. "That would change his mood into useful mode for sure! … hopefully, before we both start exchanging those cushions for portable beds to sleep on…"

She yawned with her mouth sealed.

"So, instead of fighting like brave Squids… you ran away from the enemies?!"

A strong wind went against the army of differently colored Squids, as their eyes squeezed and their tentacles were each pressing on the floor they were standing on.

"That's utterly pathetic! My disappointment reached a new low because of your incompetence!"

"Bu-but sir!" A magenta Squid, who stood in front of everyone else, slid some inches forward. "Th-they are invincible… I-I mean, they aren't just invincible! They can also hurt us with their throws!"

"An-and their kicks!" A green Squid shivered.

"They even stomped my face!" An orange Squid rubbed her face. "My beautiful face!"

More Squids began talking, gradually increasing their voice volum-

"BE QUIET!"

Silence fell in, as the army of Squids stood perfectly still…

"I can't believe I'm hearing my own army of strong Squids crying over two deformed Squidheads! You even shattered my hopes of letting my plans run smoothly!"

"Sir… g-give us advice!" The magenta Squid jumped, landing vertically on the floor: he kept bending up and down. "The secret ways of winning awesomely l-like you do!"

"Advices are for the weak! I only use one proverb in my life… the stronger, the better! I don't need an army of nerds… I need a super-army of highly-trained Squids!"

Some voices raise from the numerous group…

"We have no time to train I know… but making loans is part of the game!"

Suddenly, a purplish light appears in front of the Squids: their eyes went wide.

"Aaaaahhh… yes, yyeeeess…! You are seeing this, right?! Look at what your boss is doing…! Those earned powers are much better-rounded than I thought!"

The Squids cheered! Some of them bounced in place, others kept waving their tentacles and a minor group were even spinning on themselves.

"Ha ha ha! The only thing missing now… it's a touch of magic! Superior magic whose Shrine bozos can't even imagine!"

BBBZZZAAAAAPP!

The purplish light increased in tone, almost covering the entire army like a purple sheet.

"Oooohhh… … ready. It's ready…!"

The magenta Squid slid backwards, shaking a bit.

"And now… admire the most magnificent power of ZT! The Demon Squid who will triumph over the enemies of the clan! HA!"

A large, glowing ball was moving towards the middle of the Squid group… exploding into a dark matter!

"Ha ha ha ha! … now go, my NEW minions! Show the world how powerful you are now!"
