The person Noctis saw was a Crownsguard that hardly left his father's side as far as he knew, but there was little else known about her except that she was strong. She had abilities not linked to Regis or the crystal though it wasn't understood how that was possible. What was known was that she had just popped up mysteriously one day and due to being thought of as a threat had been initially imprisoned in the lower cells at the Citadel but had eventually proven trustworthy enough to walk around his home with a guard. Then one day everything changed and she was sworn in as a member of the Guard through the simple fact that she had saved Regis' life from assassination, the person who had gotten through all the security had managed to get a deadly poison in his fathers drink and was also armed as extra insurance. The person was there as well since she had to be near a Guard member at all times and that day was Cor's turn, she first suddenly knocked the drink away from the king's hand, which confused everyone and then without notice pushed the king down just in time because a huge sword was heading in their direction, but didn't hit either of them, instead the sword his a barrier of some sort. Once the prisoner was contained and the person conscious (she had passed out shortly after seeing the prisoner cuffed) she was initiated into the Guard without passing any of the standard tests, then again she actually hadn't needed the tests because they could tell that she was deadly somehow, and later regular training proved that she could fight, even without her mysterious abilities she was well trained in a variety of weapons

"I have a question dad, does she have complete control over her abilities now?"

Regis simply looked to her and nodded in a way that let her know she could speak freely

"To a degree yes your highness, I unfortunately do not have the amount of control any of us would like in some aspects however I don't think what you are talking about when you say control and what I'm talking about when I say control are the same thing"

"Are you dangerous to anyone?"

"No, not entirely"

"Explain"

"I make things explode occasionally, exploding things equal shrapnel and I can't exactly control where shrapnel goes"

"Fair enough, now then what are you talking about when you mean control?"

The person sighs

"If I'm in battle and use my abilities they can sometimes stray unintentionally, though anyone I mentally declare as allies before the battle and sometimes during if that occurres will not be hit, I also have to always say which of my abilities I am using to use them to full effectiveness unlike before I arrived where some things I did I only had to think of doing and I could do them effortlessly and effectively. I am going to tell everyone here and now that when I first arrived I was lucky that I could save the King's life, if things had gone differently...you would be King at the moment your highness and a grand funeral would have been held for King Regis and I might have been afforded a small ceremony in recognition of my attempts, though I doubt it since I was still an unknown at the time"

Clarus speaks up

"You would have been given an honorable funeral, even if the group would have been smaller than what the King would have had you would have been given a soldier's funeral, and we would never and are going to never stop trying to contact your original universe and let them know what you did if you had died"

"Thank you for that assurance Lord Amicitia I think..."

Suddenly though the person stops and summons their sword without speaking and everyone tenses up at that having learned early on that her doing that was not a good sign

"What's wrong?"

"My Lords, I don't presume to give you orders but everyone needs to stay back, this is my fight, against my enemy...well okay my family's enemy but still you will not survive this fight if you try and go up against them, how they even got here is beyond me"

And suddenly the person charges out of the room and everyone follows her to a point because suddenly they are blocked by a barrier and see the Guard member fighting a five faced...thing in their minds and she was succeeding in defeating said thing and while she didn't completely defeat it she did make it retreat and once she felt it was safe the barrier came down and the weapon disappeared and as soon as that happened the person then went down on her knees and was obviously breathing hard

"Two things, are you okay and just what was that thing you were fighting?"

"I'll be fine, this is another thing I mean when I say I don't have full control over my abilities, I shouldn't be drained this quickly, as for that thing I was fighting..." (sighs) "I'm afraid that's a long overdue explanation meant for private quarters"

The group was simply driving when all of a sudden they were stopped by a barrier and saw the Quintesson, and as such began to fight it but then all of a sudden Kerenai growled

"Oh you have got to be kidding me, fine if that's the way you want to play it, then let's play"

All of a sudden the rest of the group heard an engine roaring but they couldn't do anything because there was a barrier around the four of them and all four knew this was Kerenai's barrier especially because all of a sudden along with the barrier her swords changed and she started fighting the vehicle that had turned into a robot. Eventually she hit the robot in the chest and the sword disappeared immediately afterwords, but just then the Imperials joined in with the Quintesson and the Sharkticons and as such with a snap of her fingers the four suddenly had new weapons

"Those will handle both enemies"

Ten minutes into the fight Kerenai suddenly froze and grinned and then spoke up in a loud voice

"Hey guys, you can focus on the Imperials, Hook and I got the Quintesson and Sharkticons"

The battle would end shortly after Hook joined the fight, though admittedly Hook was confused

"Explanations later big guy, in the meantime it's getting late and we need to get to a Haven"

"Uh...is your friend going to be okay without the protection of the Haven?"

"He'll be fine, for two reasons, one he's a giant robot, and two he won't be without protection"

Suddenly they put their hands around their neck and unhooked a charm that they had on them

"I've had this for the past six months from the Oracle, here Hook, take this and put it around your neck"

When Hook touched the necklace the necklace grew and he had the soft glow of the Haven's protection

"Now then I'll still sleep with you four but on occasion I'll sleep inside Hook and be perfectly safe"

In the middle of battle Kerenai suddenly switched languages

*Hook get those four out of here now!*

*But...*

*That's an order mister, keep them safe*

Hook winces but ultimately obeys once she was sure they were a safe distance away Kerenai used a dangerous and devestating attack

"Arranyan explosion"

Meanwhile Noctis was arguing with Hook about leaving Kerenai behind

"I can't go back, she gave me an order, and she ranks higher than me. Unless I receive contrary orders from one of my other leaders I can't disobey her final

order to keep you guys safe and since as far as I know I'm the only Cybertronian here..."

"No one can give you contrary orders, let me guess contact has to be given?"

"Yes"

"Well if she survives this I'm reminding her that I rank higher than her"

"Good luck with that if possible, in the meantime we should find a town to wait in for a little bit"

"Agreed"

Meanwhile back with Kerenai she survived the attack that had the potential to kill her and noticed it was getting dark

"Well time to find a Haven, at least those four are in a mobile Haven if needed"

It would take two days but Kerenai eventually met up with Dave and contacted the group who were not happy with her but picked her up at Hunter HQ all the same and then Kerenai was reminded that Noctis outranked her due to the situation she was in

"I am ordering you to never do that again, I don't care if you tell Hook to get the injured members out of the fight, that was what was needed for Iggy and Prompto, but conscious members are to stay behind from now on"

Kerenai knew she couldn't fight this order and so simply submits
