Vira kept twisting around, while frowning slightly and pointing her weapon at the tall grass. Mirii was also looking around, while almost squeezing her eyes completely.
Can you see the vessel from there?
"No." Mirii's head rose.
… I hope they haven't left already…
"Negative." She shook her head.
How can you tell?
Mirii's mouth flattened.
… you are near Vira, right?
"Yes." She nodded.
Ah, welcome back, Harry! … I'm talking with Mirii, right now. She's hunting down the Stingrays located near that hospital… remember? … … … I see. Stella was looking all over the house to find you! She told me you weren't even in the garage!
The girl frowned slightly.
"Aga, could you please turn off the communication if you are not actually"
I can't really do that, Mirii. I must keep it active for my supervising role… and right now, you are walking on enemy territory, thus I can't leave you behind.
Mirii snorted…
"Uff… there is no trace of Hun." The woman sighed, lowering her weapon. "At least there is no trace of Stingray…"
Suddenly, an Inkling Agent rose from the tall grass and immediately shoot goo projectiles over Vira: two of them hit her face, as she jumped backwards and almost hit the girl.
"Darn you Stingray!" She shot ink projectiles back.
Mirii jumped backwards, while the man simply walked sideways over his right side: his weapon shot some more projectiles, while the woman turned into a Squid and jumped over her left side.
"Take cover!" The girl looked at Vira first, then at her enemy. "Those StingrACK!"
Not again!
A female Stingray grabbed Mirii's arms, as she pulled her.
"VIRA! I NEED ASSISTANCE!" She shook herself, letting her device hang on the headphones cable.
"Coming!" The woman returned in her humanoid form, as she immediately shot ink projectiles towards the kidnapper.
The Stingling pushed Mirii away, as she ran away and dived inside the tall grass. Vira lowered her weapon, while the man was rushing from the back.
"He's behind you!" The girl's forefinger pointed at the enemy, as her left hand grabbed the swung device.
Vira turned in that direction, as the impostor began shooting goo projectiles: the woman rolled sideways, stopping on the right side and standing upwards. The man threw a Splat Bomb-like weapon full of goo: Vira grabbed it, immediately throwing it behind her.
The bomb exploded in midair! The man stepped backwards, while aiming his weapon at the female Agent.
"It's my turn now, shiphead!" Vira charged after the disguised Stingray.
Mirii began taking a few steps, before swinging her leg 180° and hit the Stingling woman on her left side: she yelped, falling down on the bed of grass.
"You cannot fool perfection, idiot!" She gritted her teeth, putting her device away.
The enemy was jerkily standing up, as she panted and closed her left eye.
"I wasn't expecting a dwarf like you to kick this hard…" She grimaced.
Mirii's eyes expanded. Instantly, the girl reached the woman and grabbed her right wrist, flipping it on the other side and keeping it that way.
"OW! OW!" The woman's left hand rose.
"I will twist your pathetic wrist even more, if you dare attacking me…" Mirii's eyes squeezed slightly.
"Aaaaaaah!" Her eyes squeezed, as she kept stomping on the grass. "OUCH! L-Leave me! Leave me!"
"… how did you called me, before…?" Mirii's head rose.
"A… aaaaahhh…" The Stingray gritted her teeth. "… a-a Squid! A-a simple Squiiiiiiddd!" She cried out a yelp.
"Hmpf!" Mirii kept her head tilted upwards, while still looking at her enemy. "Have you seen a Squid who's splatting your comrades…?"
"Grrrrrrraaaaaah!" The woman's hand landed on Mirii's left shoulder. "Leave meeeeee!"
"Answer!" Mirii's eyes squeezed a bit, slightly twist
"AAAAAAAAAHHH!" Her left hand went off, shaking in the air! "Ok, OK! I-I'll tell you everythiiiiinngg!"
Mirii twisted back her wrist, as the woman's yelps drastically decreased in frequency.
"… speak." The girl snorted.
"Th-that Squid is attacking us!" The woman kept panting, raising her eyebrows. "He's looking for something… or someone! A-at least that's what Stingret is saying!"
"Who is Stingret?" Mirii turned behind, seeing Vira shooting ink projectiles at the man and chasing him down.
"Sh-she's our leader…! A-a woman who's severe and cold… often mean to us!" The enemy sighed. "She's a dangerous fighter too! You will never beat her in a fair fight!"
"Tsk… you live in falsity." Mirii's head shook. "You are unworthy to understand the meaning of perfection."
SPLAT!
Mirii turned behind: Vira was watching a small Stingray flying off.
"Got him!" She raises her thumb over the girl, while smiling.
"Vira, come here." The girl nodded.
"Can you leave me now?!" The woman frowned, as she shook herself around. "I promise to not attack you!"
"No, we are not done…" Mirii's eyes closed, returning over the woman. "… you must bring us over that Squid."
"Forget about that!" The Stingray frowned. "The others will punish me!"
"Do you prefer experiencing more pain…?" The girl slightly twist-
"NO!" The woman shook her head violently. "I-I will help you!" Her eyes squeezed. "C-consider myself an ally, even!"
"We are not allies." Mirii snorted.
"She's right!" Vira stopped near the girl, pointing her weapon at her enemy. "You Stingrays cause nothing but trouble!"
The Stingray rose her eyebrows.
"Sheesh… I wasn't literally meaning to be your allies." Her mouth downturned. "You don't like the idea that much?"
"Do you?!" Vira pointed her weapon over her head. "You spout the most terrible insults you can think of! You always do that to us!"
"Well…" The woman's eyes closed. "I'm not that trigger-happy with the insults over the Squids… I don't see"
"Enough, you hypocrite." Mirii left the woman's hand, as she turned behind and looked the distance. "Show us the way."
"Yo-you think I'm one?!" The captured enemy's frowned, while feeling the urge of watching the girl face to face. "You Squids are impossible!"
Vira walked behind the woman, pointing her weapon behind her back and pushing her with it.
"You are even worse than Stingret!" The Stingray rose her hands, passing Mirii.
"Lead us towards the location where you last saw the Squid." Mirii's head lowered.
The woman instinctively bended slightly forward.
"He went over that little hill, you see?" She pointed over the tip of the plains' horizon.
The girl looked over the indicated point… as she slightly frowned and looked back at the woman, while folding her arms.
"I didn't order you to indicate the general direction… you are ordered to guide us over him."
"Oooooh n-no, please!" A stream of tears left the woman's closed eyes. "They will punish meeeeee…!"
"We can punish you as well!" Vira hit the Stingling's back with her weapon. "Which punishment is worse?!"
"… never mind…" The captured enemy sniffed, as she proceeded forward. "… you Squids are impossible…"
Vira followed her enemy, keeping her weapon pointed behind… as Mirii resumed her march, while keeping an eye on her surroundings.
"If the vessel left… me and Vira would had caught it during such act." The girl caressed her left tentacle, as her irises pointed at it. "We are still in time… thankfully."
Her mouth opened slightly.
"That Stingray, though… she mentioned that Hun was looking for something." She sealed her mouth back. "Or someone… but who?"
When you have the chance, you can really bring your enemies down on their knees.
"Obviously." Mirii smiled slightly. "You are talking with a brilliant strategist, nevertheless."
Undeniably. However, you sounded a bit too cold than usual…
"You better not lower your intelligence into clueless assumptions." Her smile quickly disappeared. "We are dealing with an enemy, here."
Yes, but that doesn't mean you can stress the others around…
"Aga, tell me how my performance is going." She glimpsed forward, as the top of the small hill was approaching.
Fine, fine… the Agents are saying that they reached the vessel.
Mirii's mouth opened wide.
They claimed to have defeated almost all the Stingrays near the area. No one has found Hun yet, but they are deciding to push their attacks until they arrive in front of the vessel's entrance.
"Faster!" Mirii growled. "We must be almost there!"
"… is it me or you always seem to rush, whenever you talk with your teacher?" Vira turned her head to her right, showing part of her downturned mouth and her right iris.
"Take off that ludicrous idea!" The girl's pace accelerated, almost passing the other two. "Evolve your speed!"
"Invest more on safety!" Vira frowned at her. "We can't"
PAF!
Vira's weapon flew off, as the Stingray pushed her on the grass.
"You hateful Squids!" She slapped the Agent on her cheek. "You haven't earned the last laugh!"
"YOU FOOL!" Mirii brought her right leg-
Vira grabbed the Stingling's jacket, as the other hand swung towards the nearest cheek.
PAAAF!
The enemy jumped away, landing on the grass and yelping like mad! Vira lifted her back, standing on her feet in just a few seconds.
"Let me take care of this hateful Stingray!" She dashed forward.
"VIRA!" Mirii stomped the grass.
Once near her target, Vira grabbed the woman with just her right hand and brought her semi-closed eyes closer to hers.
"This is going to be the last time I will lower my guard, whenever I'm dealing with any Stingrays…" She roared with her teeth exposed. "… as for you, this is going to be the last time you will see us."
Vira lifted her attacker, carrying her backwards and looking forward.
"AAAAAH!" The woman moved her limbs around. "WH-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
"PUT HER DOWN!" The young Inkling pointed the grass.
"Forgive me, Mirii…" Vira inhaled the air through her nose. "GET OFF MY FACE, YOU DIRTY STINKRAY!"
FUM!
The Stingray flew forward at high speed! Mirii's jaw dropped, as she observed the thrown target traveling farther and farther… the girl's face went paler, as her mouth closed into a flattened shape. Vira dusted off her hands, while her eyes closed.
"Pfui… that basshole deserved it." She turned behind, reopening her eyes and immediately looking over the grass. "Gotta find my weapon, now…"
The woman bended forward, starting to walk over Mirii's right side, while her hands kept tilting the tall grass away.
"… her strength is not normal…" Before she knew it, Mirii was already walking away from Vira. "… and her behavior is completely out of control, once she's conquered by anger."
She swallowed silently.
"I must remember such feature in her personality… especially if she's near Hunley!"
As her feet were treading the last inches, her eyes were descrying something large and distant. As she kept pursuing in her path, her sight tracked even more details until her feet reached the tip of the small hill: a large vessel had its feet planted onto the grass, surrounded by some Agents who were shooting their magenta ink over a small group of Stinglings and impostors.
"… Aga." Her head rose. "I found the vessel."
