Alright, I'm back. I could have come here sooner, but Stella wanted to eat some more French fries… is everything fine over there?
"… we found Hunley." Mirii's head rose. "Safe and sound."
Thank turfness! Now you have
"However, Hunley reported that the Stingrays captured a Squid…" Her eyes squeezed slightly. "… and I think I know who could possibly be…"
"We can't stay here!" Hun pointed over the entrance, while looking at the two Inklings. "She needs us!"
The vessel's board was slowly raising…
"Ah, darn it!" Vira dashed towards the entrance. "Can't they just give up, eh?! I couldn't wait to relax my mind after all that madness!"
Hun turned into a Squid, as he swam rapidly through the grass. Mirii copied the boy's decision, as she slid after him. The woman panted, as she drenched her forehead.
"Vira! VIRA!" Mirii's voice came from the two 'grassy' waves behind the first one. "YOU ARE STEPPING ON GREEN INK!"
The woman kept running, keeping her eyes over the raising board, whose edge was now pointing her throat. She shouted a battle cry, jumping over the board's edge and holding onto it with her arms.
"Gggggggggnnnnnnnnnnhh!" Her eyes squeezed and her teeth gritted, while frowning like never before.
Ccccrrrrrrr…!
The board was shaking, producing an increasingly-louder crackling sound.
As Hun returned into his humanoid form, his feet glued on the grass… his eyes couldn't stop staring at his new ally.
"Wh-whoa!" His eyes enlarged.
"I CAN'T KEEP THIS THING DOWN FOR MUCH LONGER!" Vira panted, before gritting her teeth back. "IT'S DESTROYING MY ARMS!"
Mirii returned in her humanoid form as well, passing the boy and jumping over the edge. She climbed on its top, twisting behind and lowering her knees.
"HUNLEY! GRAB MY HANDS!" Her arms thrusted over the boy, while her eyebrows went down.
The boy pointed his head over the girl, as he blushed. Mirii blushed as well, as her irises shrunk slightly.
"… HUNLEY! COME!" She waved her hands, as her blush expanded.
Hun nodded, as he rushed towards her hands.
"Ah, wait!" He turned into a Squid, as he bended himself down. "It's better to use this form, so Mirii can pick me up easily…"
Vump!
Hun sprung out of the grass, as Mirii caught him in a strong hug: ink blasted out of her nose, as her face went full red and her feet took some rapid steps backwards.
"Wh-what are you doing?!" Hun's cheeks blushed. "We have to pick her up!"
Vira's eyes opened slightly, tracking down he girl lowering her knees and letting the Squid go.
"UFF!" Her arms pushed herself upwards, as she landed on the floor with her stomach down.
The board resumed its raise, as Vira pushed her back upwards, while groaning and moaning. Hun rushed over the woman, offering his hand in front of her face. She smiled, grabbing it and nodding.
"Thank you." She lifted herself, while closing her eyes.
"Phew!" Hun smiled. "You are welcome!"
The board's edge fit inside an horizontally-shaped line hole, as the room went semi-dark. Mirii arrived in front of the two, as she folded her arms.
"I congratulate you for the well-timed action who allowed us to initiate the rescuing mission." The girl smiled. "Can you report the condition of your arms?"
"They are healing!" Vira nodded. "But all that movement and push I did… it kinda made me hungry!"
She giggled, extracting a wrapped Cheesy Chip Stick with her free hand and looking at it. Mirii's eyebrows lowered slightly.
"Vira, we are located inside the Stingrays' own base…" Her head rose. "We are not prepared to face a possible ambush… you must"
"Can't work without food!" Vira grinned, as she brought her weapon in between her legs and unwrapped the snack. "I will be fast, I promise!" She munched the food's tip, while smiling.
Mirii shook her head slowly, while grimacing…
"Ehm…" Hun waved his arms a bit. "… was it me or did you… kept the board down with just your arms?"
Vira nodded, as she swallowed the contents inside her mouth.
"It was a pain in the bottom doing that, but I couldn't stand there and watch the vessel taking off." She gave another bite over the cheese. "As Agents, we can't leave innocents behind!"
"But… but isn't the board very heavy?!" Hun's mouth flattened. "I-I couldn't possibly keep it down for one second… no matter how hard I would try!"
"Hunley, Vira is not an Agent like the others." Mirii's eyes closed. "She happens to possess an incredible amount of strength."
The woman swallowed the previously chewed food, as she chuckled.
"Even though I'm pretty strong, I cannot lift everything on sight…"
"I have never implied such lie." As the girl reopened her eyes, she turned behind and saw an extending corridor. "It's logically impossible to think there is a Squid who can lift anything he or she wants."
"St-still!" Hun took a step backwards, watching the Agent eating one more snack. "Keeping down a board is no easy task…!" His shoulders rose. "Did you used some sort of technique in order to do that?!"
Vira shook her head, gulping down once more.
"Just training at the gym."
Several sweat drops appeared behind Hun's head.
"… it can't be just that…"
So, you managed to penetrate inside…
"Yes." Mirii turned behind and took some steps away from the woman. "I would like to hear about my performance…"
So far, so good! You just need to keep it up with the good work! … unfortunately, I don't know where those Project Neo files could possibly be. It's up to you to find the location where the Stingrays keep their documents related to the project…
"… with an innocent to save, I might not have enough time to search for Project Neo clues inside the vessel..." The girl frowned slightly. "There must be a more reliable way to accomplish such task, while attempting to rescue the innocent at the same time…"
Her irises lowered, noticing a red carpet stretching over the darkness.
"No, conceiving a plan with my current knowledge is out of discussion." Her right hand caressed her right tentacle. "As always, I must study the field of operations… let's see what lies at the end of this carpet."
