Mirii frowned.

"Th-that's a large hole!" Hun slid near Vira's feet, as his irises pointed forward. "Can you possibly jump over that...? Or should I"

"Hunley, this gap might be as innocuous as the carpet you are stepping on." The girl walked over him, keeping her eyes on the Squid.

She folded her arms, raising her head.

"It's just a matter of recalling what our enemy utilized a few minutes ago. I'm sure you are aware of what memory I'm referring to…"

"Uhm…" Hun looked back at the girl. "… you mean, that disgusting thing who wasn't its true self?"

"As always… you are correct!" Mirii nodded, as she smiled. "I shouldn't expect anything less from a smart, intelligent Squid like you." She blushed a bit.

Hun blushed a lot, as his irises went to his right side.

"Eh eh eh…! Th-thanks!" His left tentacle managed to reach his littler ones, massaging them.

"You are welcome!" Mirii's hands went behind her back, as she giggled. "Now, with that being said… this obstacle follows the same logic applied previously: it is nothing more than another trick disposed by that incomprehensible pitre."

"Pitre?" Vira's left forefinger tapped her lips. "Hmm... that word is familiar…"

"Although, Mirii…" Hun slid closer to the gap. "Are you sure that this is an illusion? There is grass down there."

"Of course we do not know if this gap is a full misconception…" Mirii proceeded, as she stopped right before the gap. "But allow me to prove my sayings, with the simple application of logic."

Her right foot rose… stomping the hole right in midair.

"As I calculated." Her tiptoes rubbed it. "It's just a primeval, senseless attempt to halt cleverness."

"Aaaah, now I remember!" The female Agent's fingers snapped loudly, after they left her smiling mouth. "Pitre is a Frish word!"

"Correct." As the girl slid her foot back, she nodded. "In any case, I might have proven the falsity of this gap… however, we shall still proceed with caution."

"I'm following you!" Hun lifted the top of his head, as his movement resembled a nod.

"I will not lead the way through this deception… instead" She turned her head over the woman. "I will send Vira to prudently cross the whole gap."

"M-me?!" The female Agent's left hand rested on her chest. "Bu-but I might fall down if"

"You are the 'brawny' of the team… am I right?" Mirii snorted, as she caressed her right tentacle. "A 'brawny' is always called upon physical tasks…"

"What about Hun?!" The woman's arms pointed over the Squid.

"He's not the 'brainy', nor the 'brawny' of the team… he is the 'Hunley' whose role is to solely capitalize over certain situations with his unique abilities."

"… I'm curious to know the supposed situations where you want him to use his skills." Vira snorted, as she walked towards the gap and passed both her allies.

"A quick example would be in fights." Mirii's head rose, watching the woman walking on her tiptoes and pressing the hole multiple times on the same spot. "Hunley is vastly superior when he fights in close-range."

"I-I s-see…!" Sweat formed all over the woman's whole body, as her arms stretched sideways. "… brrrr! Th-this is so nerve-racking…!"

"Proceed without complains." The girl's head shook. "You are almost there."

Vira took one more baby step… as her head felt spinning.

"Uff… uuuffff…" She began stumbling a little. "Oh my… turf… I'm not feeling well…"

"Vira! Stop looking over that ridiculous decoration!" Mirii bended forward, as she frowned. "One more step and you reached the other side!"

"Ah!" The woman's left knee fell down, as her left hand went over her forehead and her eyes closed. "Aaaaaahhh… I can't deal with this ship, anymore...!"

She fell down with her stomach touching the fake gap.

"Curses!" Mirii dashed. "I should had consulted her, instead of trusting her 'brawny' role!"

Hun followed the girl, as he slid on the gap and managed to leave his ink trail on it. As the girl slowed down, she bended her knees and reached the laying woman. Her hands flipped her, as the Agent's back impacted on the false gap.

"Anf, anf, anf…" Vira's eyes opened slightly. "… don't worry… I'm getting better…" She stick her tongue over her mouth's left side. "… although… I-I think I'm gonna puke…" Her cheeks inflated.

Mirii's eyes expanded: her right hand went over her stomach, sliding it in a circular motion.

"Resist!" Her eyes squeezed. "This medical procedure will stop any rejects!"

The woman puffed the air out of her mouth, as her eyelids went all the way down. Mirii kept massaging, as she panted once and reopened her eyes: they glanced over the grass moving below her. A single sweat fell down from her forehead, landing on the sliding hand.

"… uff… uh…" Vira's eyes blinked. "… hey… I'm feeling even better…" She smiled a bit.

"I'm almost done!" Mirii panted some more, while lowering her eyebrows. "It's only a matter of seconds…!"

Hun returned into his humanoid form, as he observed the girl and downturned his mouth.

"… success!" Mirii sighed deeply, as her hands fell on one of her knees each. "… urgh…" Her face turned slightly green. "Wh-why I have this feeling of… dizziness?!"

"Mirii, step aside!" Hun walked around the girl, reaching the woman's back of her head. "I'm going to pull her on land."

As he bended his knees, his hands grabbed each one of Vira's shoulders. He began pulling, snorting a little during his backwards steps. Mirii stood upwards… as her right hand began sliding in a circular motion on her stomach. She looked at Hun, gently lowering the woman's shoulders on the floor. He drenched his forehead, while the woman lifted her back and stared back at the girl.

"… yo-you got dizzy too?!" Vira opened her mouth.

"Qu-quiet…" Mirii's cheeks bloated slightly, as she stepped away from the hole. "… it-it's nothing I-I can't handle…" She groaned.

The woman's mouth downturned… before looking over the ceiling and frowning.

"Are you happy, stupid Stinkray?!" She stood up, stretching her arms downwards. "You tortured us with that stupid ship!"

…

"Uff…" Mirii's face color returned to normal, as her sliding hand left her stomach and returned near the right side. "… her tricks cannot be underestimated…"

"Luckily you know how to keep any pukes from bursting!" The woman stares back at Mirii, opening her arms wide. "I'm definitively not in the mood for any stomach aches!"

"Me too!" Hun nodded, as he turned over his right side. "Ah!"

A large, metallic door was standing upon the carpet-covered path. He rushed towards it, aiming at one of its handles.

"Look over here!" The boy grabbed the right handle, as he began pushing it downwards and applying all his strength. "Pant! That innocent Squid must be behind those doors!"

Hun tilted backwards, as he lengthen his arms and growled.

"Uuuuuunnnnnggghhhh!" His eyes squeezed, as sweat jumped out from his head.

He stopped, as he panted and pushed himself closer to the door… before pulling himself back and resume his effort.

"Uuuuuuuuuunnnnnggggaaaaaahhh…!" He gritted his teeth, as more sweat formed around his face and hands.

Suddenly, two more hands joined his: the boy's eyes pointed to his left, staring at the woman smiling back at him. Vira's weapon was resting on the ground, located some feet away from her.

"Hun… I think you should stick to your original role." Her eyes closed, tilting her head to her right side. "Let a true 'brawny' take the scene!"

Hun's eyes blinked twice. Vira walked over the left side, spitting on both her hand palms and rubbing them together.

"Alright!" Her hands grasped the left handle, as she lowered her eyebrows and smiled even more. "Time to obey, giant door!"

As she pushed the handle down, the woman pulled widely. Her arms span to the max, as the left side of the ginormous door… was still in place. Vira began frowning, as she pulled even more and growled loudly.

"Wh-what the…?!" Her eyes squeezed. "Wh-why… whhaaaaaaiiiii it doeeeessnn't mooooooovveeggghhh?!" Her teeth gritted.

Hun jumped behind the woman, as he caught her sides. He pulled, snorting and squeezing his eyes… as the door wasn't still leaving its position! Mirii was slowly but surely arriving near the two pulling Inklings… as she sighed and lowered her head.

"Hunley…"

"Hm-hmmm?!" He turned his head to the right, while still squeezing his eyes. "Wh-what?!"

"… don't forget." As she brought her head back to neutral position, she stepped towards the right handle. "The Stingray is using her illusions as a means to attack."

Hun rose his eyelids, noticing the girl arriving in front of the handle. Vira stopped her pull, observing Mirii as well. The young lady's hands landed on the knob, pushing it down… and pulling the door over the right side. The woman and the boy's eyes expanded.

"Despite its heavy appearance… this is nothing more than a sliding door." She let the handle, turning properly over Hun. "As you witnessed, anyone can open this oversized pile of metal by simply learning its mechanism."

"… how did you figured it out?!" Vira shook her head violently, before scratching its top. "Th-the door looked just like any other one, except for its large size!"

Mirii's forefinger pointed upwards.

"Have a look above the multi-door…"

Both Inklings tilted their heads in the same direction: their sight locked onto black wheels who were attached to the ceiling and positioned each on one of the doors' top side.

"… no wonder Agents talk about her, all the time…!" The woman swallowed silently.

"Now, move." Mirii's forefinger pointed over the opened path. "We have a mission to accomplish."

Vira nodded, as she stepped back and looked over her weapon.

"I will go first!" Hun turned into a Squid, sliding towards the girl.

"Hunley, no!" Mirii frowned. "You must stay closer to me."

The Squid stopped right in front of her.

"… alright." He slid around the girl, halting behind her feet.

Vira walked towards the cleared route, passing in between the two doors and entering inside a round, big hall whose chandelier had its bulbs lit and pointed over the center. The woman clutched her weapon, carrying it closer to her chest.

"Ha ha ha ha!"

From thin air, Stingret appeared in the middle of the hall. The woman growled, immediately directing her weapon's muzzle over her enemy's back.

"So far, you went… impressed me, you did." The Stingling's arms opened sideways. "The dwarf, especially… a force to be reckon with, she is truly…"

Mirii went past the multidoor, frowning at Stingret. Suddenly, the Stingray's hands began sparkling visibly.

"I went here, that's why…" From each of her hands, an electrical orb grew out of her hand palms. "Against her, tricks won't work…" She turned behind, revealing her large grin. "… will, electricity."
