Mirii's irises shrunk, as she left her mouth open.

"… how is she…"

"Knock it off, you piece of ship!" Vira thrusted her arms towards her enemy, finding another reason to frown. "I had it with you and your tricks! Get over here and be done with your acts!"

"Done, YOU are!" Stingret swung her arms, throwing the orbs towards the woman.

"VIRA! DODGE!" Mirii bended forward, while scowling.

"Dodge?!" The Agent twisted her head without thinking.

She jumped sideways, landing on the right side. The orbs were releasing a penetrating whistle, as they landed near the Inkling.

KA-POOM!

Vira curled her upper side, observing electrical circles sparkling on the floor. After a few seconds, the circles disappeared rapidly. Mirii twisted her shoulders left and right, before noticing Hun sliding over her right side and frowning. He stopped in front of her, with his eyes already pointed towards her face.

"Hunley, stay here!" The girl gulped in silence, as her feet wanted to move in front of the Squid. "Cover the ground around us!"

Stingret reopened her arms, as sparkles appeared on her hands.

"She's in trouble!" The Squid shook his head. "I can't stay here, watching Vira getting hurt!"

The woman shoot ink around her, before diving inside her newly-formed green ink stain as a Squid. From the Stingling's hands, two electrical orbs grew out from one hand palm each.

"She is auscultating my orders!" Mirii took a silent, deep breath.

"Auscultating…?" Only the top of his left eye lowered.

"Listening." The girl nodded. "She is listening my orders!"

Stingret threw her orbs against the girl, as Mirii gasped loudly and dived to her left side, rolling in the same trajectory once her hands connected with the floor. Hun slid to the right, just before the orbs hit the door and disappeared together with a weak, blasting sound.

"Hunley!" Mirii swung her hand downwards, as her eyebrows went near her forehead. "Come here! Please!"

The Squid faced the calling Inkling, as the top of his eyes 'smiled'. Vira bounced off her stain, as she immediately shot more ink projectiles while running.

"You even went as far as trying to splat an unarmed Squid!" She threw a Splat Bomb towards her foe. "Where is your dignity?!"

The device landed and spun vigorously, as it arrived in front of the Stingray's feet… before inflating in a second.

BOOM!

Green ink buried Stingret fully, while the Inklings had their eyes pointed over the hit enemy… she cracked a loud laugh, as the ink began dissolving out of existence.

"IMPOSSIBLE!" Mirii's eyes expanded.

"EH?!" Hun's tentacles stretched to the sides, as his irises were as large as dots.

"… no way…" Vira's face went paler, as her right foot went on the tip of her toes.

"Useless, your ink is!" She grinned widely, reopening her arms and making her hands glow. "Yourself prepare… just like your ink did, as I will finish you off!" Two more orbs appeared each on one of her hand palms.

"Hunley!" Mirii swung her arm multiple times, as she almost jumped during her movements. "Come here! Quick!"

Hun… frowned at Stingret.

"Hunley, no!" The girl shook her head once, scowling and pointing her forefinger earthward. "My decisions are out of discussion!"

The Stingray threw the orbs, as they flew in the direction of the girl.

"Drat!" Mirii dashed over her right side.

Hun slid forward, aiming his head over his foe.

"HUNLEY! I NEED YOU TO CLAIM THIS PART OF THE FLOOR!" She panted, as her frown slightly decreased. "I NEED YOU TO STAY CLOSER TO ME!"

The Squid kept sliding, while being spied by Vira who lowered her weapon and took a few footsteps towards the middle of her ink stain.

"Ha ha ha ha!" Stingret reopened her arms, this time gaping her legs as well.

Hun was approximately 6 feet away from his target: his irises were properly arranged, as he jumped and reeled on himself. Mirii kept her breath, as her hands contorted her fingers, while located near her cheeks.

BONK!

The Squid's tip of his head was flattened upon the Stingray's stomach... his eyes were almost out, as each had a big tear drop hanging from their bottom sides. His irises were smaller too. Vira's clutched hand let the weapon fall down on the ink, as her face went completely white. Mirii's hands were covering her mouth, as pain grew inside her chest.

Hun was sluggishly descending, until he dropped in between the enemy's feet. The Stingray brought her right leg backwards, sending a kick over his head: Hun was spinning uncontrollably, yelping in the process. Mirii whopped, instinctively expanding her arms and walking rearwards. She sprung off the floor, catching the flying Squid and hugging him tightly, while collapsing on her back.

"Hu-Hunley!" Her teeth pressed, as her eyes were cumulating her tears. "Wh-what she has done to you...?!" Her right hand fleed over his forehead.

Vira was watching the two, as her right hand was trying to approach the hurt Squid...

"Pathetic ball, you are!"

The hand stopped in midair. Stingret was shaping two more electrical orbs, while grinning.

"Being a dish of Squidrings, you are only good at!"

The hand clenched... as the woman growled louder and louder.

"You..." As she inhales from her nose, the Agent twisted over her foe and departed in a quick run. "YOU ARE A TRUE BASSHOLE!"

Stingret steered her head over the running woman: she twirled her arms, as her electrical projectiles went off. The Agent jumped over the left, missing an orb by an inch and still keeping her snapping momentum.

"AAAAAAH!" She carried her right fist behind, while seeing red.

Like a triggered spring, the first travelled over the Stingray's cheek.

POOOW!

The head tilted leftwards, as part of the metallic neck was separated from its base: sparkles were escaping, crackling every second.

"Yyyeeeeeeooouuuucccch!" Vira retreated her hand, as the other one grabbed it.

She kept jumping and yelping, while the iron body was violently shaking and more sparkles were coating it.

KABOOOOOOMMM!

The Agent flew backwards, settling on her ink stain and sliding as if she was covered in soap.

"V-Vira!" Mirii groaned, as her feet were aligning themselves on the floor.

Pieces of metal scraps were scattered in the middle of the hall, as one piece in particular managed to reach the girl's feet.

"Do that, how did you?! Non-Squid, your strength is!" Stingret's voice was coming from the far left corner.

"… how could I overseen such contradiction…?" Mirii lifted herself, while still hugging Hun. "Un-unforgivable!"

"Uff… urgh…" The Squid's eyelids climbed to the middle.

"Ow, ow…" The woman rose her back.

Her earpieces were sporting some visible cracks, as parts of her suit were presenting straps and burned spots.

"The last of me, you haven't seen! Pay for this, I will make" A buzzing sound covered her voice, lasting for a few seconds. "Roy" The sound returned for another second.

Suddenly, she shouted strange words before silence came in.

"… grrrr…" She caressed the top of Hun's head. "She… she injured Hunley…"

Vira also lifted herself… as she slightly bended herself forward, while her left hand grasped her right arm.

"Oooowwww!" Her head rose, her eyes squeezed and her teeth were gritting as hard as ever.

"Don't let the pain conquer your thoughts!" Mirii stepped towards her ally, increasing her speed gradually.

The woman shook her head, as small tears were exiting from her closed eyes.

"It's… painful…!" Her head lowered, as she kept shaking her head. "I-I can't… move…"

Her knees lowered, as she was kindly returning back on the floor, leaning over her left side and whispering groans.

"Aaaaaaahhh…" Tears were scrolling through her cheeks. "… painful…! It's… painful…"

"Get yourself on your feet…!" Mirii's eyebrows went up, as she left a loud sigh and reached the woman. "Please! You can't recover inside the enemy's territory!"

"… I-I'm hurt everywhere…" Vira sniffed loudly. "I can't move… n-no way…"

The girl's mouth downturned, as she delivered Hun closer to her chest.

"Vira… you must not give up!" She nodded. "If you refuse to move, how can you protect yourself from the incoming Stingrays…?"

"… ow, ow…" More tears were leaving the woman's shut eyes. "Ooooowww… I-I need to recover… at all costs…"

"Nnnnggh!" Sweat covered Mirii's forehead. "Wh-what I'm supposed to do, now…?! … she might help me!"

She nodded, before carrying her irises over her right side.

"Aga, can you hear me?"

Yes. I listened to almost everything you shouted or said.

Her eyes squeezed slightly.

"… is there a reason why you were quiet for all this time…?"

I'm focusing on other tasks… as I said before, with the equipment I have at home, I cannot support you fully. Besides, you proved to handle your role quite well, so I don't see the need of giving you advices or anything of that nature.

"… understood." She frowned slightly. "Aga, Vira is severely wounded… she cannot stand up and defend herself from anything who intends harm."

… I heard something resembling an explosion… was she hit by it?

"Yes, unfortunately." Mirii caressed Hun's forehead. "Hunley was kicked by that robot resembling the Stingray in charge of this whole army."

I see. This is not good in the least.

"I… I don't know what I should do at this point…" She casually looked over the right side. "I'm the only one who's truly fine…"

You don't know what to do? Can't say I would ever imagine such thing said by you…

"Aga, this is not the time to mention such remarks." Mirii snorted.

Relax. So… if you are the only one who's fine… then, I think you should utilize the following solution.

"Solution…?" Her head rose.

Yes: grab Vira's weapon and Ink Tank.

Mirii's eyes enlarged.
