"Hunley is in danger!" Mirii cocked her weapon, while gritting her teeth. "Why I let other voices influence my carefully calculated decision?! I could had avoided such minuscule mistake!"
The man shot goo out of his firearm, as he proceeded and scowled over the girl. The woman shot the goo over her left side, covering the floor in between the line of cabinets and the table. Mirii fired ink back, while strafing to her right side.
"Ah, drat!" A sweat drop appeared behind her head. "I don't have any Splat Bomb at my disposal…! Nnnnggh!"
Her head quickly aimed at the incoming woman, whose muzzle was now firing goo in her way. Mirii hurled her ink shots over the second Stingling as well, before shifting back towards the first. The man threw his own Splat Bomb, as it thumped in a loud glass sound and rolled near the girl's feet. She jumped sideways, turning into a Squid and plunged in her freshly ink.
BOOM!
Mirii jumped back up, shooting at her foe at the same time. The attacked Stingling jumped backwards, as he almost hit the table's bottom-left corner. The woman also threw a Splat Bomb, as Mirii dived back inside her ink and swam at full speed: the bomb bowled on her previous position, as it exploded into a large pile of goo.
The man kept marching rearwards, as the girl remerged once again: this time, she flew over her left side while shooting ink projectiles. The Stingling ducked, but the spread of ink fell right on his back.
SPLAT!
As Mirii hit the floor with both her feet, the little Stingray left the room by going past the ceiling, leaving a huge ink stain behind. The woman groaned, charging after her enemy: the quantity of goo, stored inside her tank, was slowly filling itself up… although, it barely passed one quarter of its container.
The girl spiraled herself, successfully casting her enemy's post with her firearm's muzzle and making sure that her hands were grasping the handle properly.
"Show yourself as a menace and I will treat you like one!" Mirii frowned. "Put your hands on the ground!"
"Are you scared of me, Squid?" The woman grinned, as she shot in response.
Her speeding feet were stomping on her recently-leaned goo, as her fin located behind her head was simulating the same rhythm as her shot goo bullets.
Mirii growled, cramming her eyes roughly near their bottom. She leaped back in her ink, releasing some bubbles once immerged. The woman laughed, almost arriving over the girl's position.
"You are done for, Squid!" She aimed over the aimed spot.
Goo landed on it, forming itself a small stain. The Stingray opened her mouth, before-
Mirii emerged on her left side, shortly firing her ammunition. As the woman was bombarded by the ink, she released a loud cry and tilted her head towards the ceiling.
SPLAT!
She retreated as a small Stingray, while Mirii lowered her weapon and carefully spied the defeated adversary.
"… hmpf!" Her head rose. "Precise and quick… key elements for any perfectionist like myself." Her eyes closed. "Always glad to prove it in front of the uneducated."
"Grrrrrrrmmmmmmggghhh!"
Loud transmitted-like bonking sounds blasted from around the room…
"HOW?! JUST YOU, YOU ARE!"
"Of course I'm just me." Her eyes closed, while folding her arms. "Impeccable, brilliant, sophisticated, elegant, high-minded and cultivated… the signs of pure perfection."
Remote words blew from any direction. The girl simply snorted, reopening her eyes delicately.
"If you proved to be a sane Stingray, I would have been content to lecture you about our language..." She freed her arms, now looking over the opened door. "… but I would spit on my own reflection, if I treat you like an ally."
…
"… I'm sure she perfectly heard my words…" Mirii grimaced, as she headed towards the opened door by simply walking in its way. "Not that I have the desire to know such futile information… … sigh…"
Her mouth downturned, as she almost arrived at the door.
"I was careless… n-nothing will ever change my opinion on such regard!" Her eyes squeezed briefly. "There is only one opportunity I can fully embrace at this point, in order to prove the worthiness of my intellect…"
She scowled, noticing how the opened door was revealing a corridor with a large, rectangular box sitting near the wall on the left side.
"Validate my capability to detect tricks, no matter how well-hidden they appear to be." Her head turned to her right, watching the line of cabinets in particular. "I can't let her declare victory over a pure event of luck… in what way I would still be able to confirm my perfectionist status, if I ignore this offense?! No, it's simply unacceptable!"
Her frown increased...
"… uff… I'm getting thirsty…" Her eyelids dropped to the middle. "This weakness is going to penalize me, if I grant it attention…"
She shook her head and looked back at the opened path.
"… the path looks safe… … is there a method I could deploy in order to individualize a distortion…?" Her irises went over her right side. "A weakness I could exploit…"
Her mouth opened a bit.
"Pay attention, Mirii!" She sealed her mouth back. "Those cabinets might hold valuables into them...!" She stepped rapidly over the nearest one. "Quickness and precision... those Project Neo documents must fall in better hands."
As she approached, her knees bended and her hands laid her weapon next to her right side.
"Hunley... resist!" Her hands latched each onto one little, round handle located on the cabinet. "I'm working for the good of our society!"
She pulled the littler doors, as she jumped backwards and screamed at the top of her lungs! She stretched her arms upwards, same for her tentacles, before letting them fall once her bottom hit the ground. She was breathing loudly, observing a clown face stamped on the cabinet's wall...
Veins popped out, smoke was exiting from her ears and her teeth were pressing so hard, the girl could feel hints of pain from it.
"Ha ha ha ha!"
Her sight tracked the presence of papers, sitting on the shelf inside the cabinet. She threw her hands in their direction, extracting the papers of the left side and carrying them in front of her face: the clown face was also appearing on the topmost of the grabbed sheets.
"Sacrilege!" She picked the paper, crumpling it furiously into a ball and throwing it backwards. "I got manipulated by my own wish for evidence!"
The next paper was also depicting the exact same face… as Mirii threw the rest of the sheets over her right side.
"Sh-she will not get away with this…" Her hand picked her weapon, transporting it below her face.
Her eyes rested on it, as she gasped and groaned: the weapon's muzzle was bending downwards, its attached contained had a hole on its right side and dirt spots were spread all over its place.
"Your pathetic tricks are ineffective against my experience!" As Mirii looked over the ceiling, her feet resumed her walk towards the unlocked door.
"This masterpiece, how do you like? Impressive pretty, hmm?"
The girl reached the facing path, stepping inside it and focusing over the box in view.
"I must prove my intellect!" She snorted. "I must anticipate her next trick!" Puffs of smoke escaped her ears.
Mirii's weapon pointed over the box, now cautiously sliding her feet sideways and nearing herself towards the wall.
"Sh-she was just lucky! LUCKY I SAY!" She sighed silently and deeply. "… if it wasn't for her tricking skills, I wouldn't had minded to check inside that box…"
Her head rose.
"Once I get rid of her, I can finally inspect without any hitches…"
Suddenly, the box's visible wall depicted the previous clown face! Mirii's eyelids fell on the middle, as her mouth flattened.
"… as I said, your pathetic tricks are ineffective against my experience." She stopped, bringing her right wrist over her right hip. "This is the type of performance I was seeking."
She smiled a bit.
"Intelligent, evolved, serene, exquisite, talented…" Her eyes closed. "Nothing short of true perfect"
Ratatatatata!
Mirii twisted her head to the right, while jumping in the other direction simultaneously: a female Stingray was marching, while shooting goo projectiles at the girl.
"Drat!" Her hands aimed her 'rotten' weapon towards her enemy, while gritting her teeth. "Now my thirst is getting heavier…"
She panted, as she advanced in reverse and fired her ink shots. The woman threw her Splat Bomb, before turning behind and running away. Mirii bounced once more, assisting the bomb exploding under her sight.
"A hit and runner Stingray…" Her eyes squeezed slightly. "I'm confident to outrun her, considering the goofiness of her ground movements… but I'm not standing on an even field."
She grimaced slightly.
"Those tricks will determine my defeat, if I choose to ignore them… that's why…"
She turned over her left side, watching the floor.
"... a proper preparation is required."
She shot her ink down, covering the ground and part of the box.
Mirii, I found something important!
"Not now, Aga." Mirii snorted. "I'm in the middle of a fight."
… ok. Good luck with that.
"Thank you." She twisted over her left, shooting ink in the direction of the opened door. "… did Aga managed to find more information regarding Vira…?"
