"Your distortions are worthless against my perfect intelligence!" Mirii frowned, as she marched towards the nearest clownish cupboard, while grasping her weapon. "Observe, you coward, as me and Hunley will exit the room with one of your keycards in our possession!"

"There is one of the keycards in here…?" Vira showed signs of limps, while she was walking from behind the lonely chair near the wall. "How would you know that?"

"This room has all the requirements for being your typical briefing room." Mirii nodded. "I know there is a keycard inside such room…"

"Nice…!" The woman chuckled. "You always manage to learn everything useful…! To think, me and Hun were looking around the rooms for one of those..."

"Hmm?" As the girl stopped in front of the corrupted cupboard, she turned over her left side and watched her ally moving closer to her and Hun. "You know the existence of such keycards?"

"Have you seen the door at the end of the hallway?" The woman smiled slightly, reaching the young Inklings and simply carrying her hands on her sides. "It has two card slots... just like the one you found on that previous door, remember?"

"Yes..." Mirii nodded. "I learned that behind such door, who has been sealed with the use of two keycards, there is the culprit of all this madness."

"Aaaah, you are so awesome!" Vira chuckled, as her eyes closed and her mouth held her smile. "Why you weren't born earlier?! We would have been best friends in high school!"

"Hmpf!" The girl scowled. "I would highly regret such fate..."

"Wh-why you say that…?" The woman lowered her shoulders, as her mouth downturned.

"Enough." Mirii pointed her weapon towards the clown's face. "There is no time to waste."

She shot her green ink, as the face was filled with it all over the place! Only one little hole, shaped like a key, was left intact. Mirii smiled.

"Here." Her free hand separated from the other, grabbing one of the handles and stretching her relative arm backwards. "Nnngh!" A sweat drop grew on her head. "The cupboard is sealed!"

"Ha ha ha!"

"Oh no!" Hun turned around him. "Does that mean we have to find a key too?!"

"Great…" The Agent snorted, as she stared back at the ceiling. "As if we hadn't enough keys to find! Couldn't you give us some slack?!"

"… hmpf!" Mirii's free hand was now venturing inside her clothing. "Your last resorts are as pathetic as your mind!"

"Ha! Have the key, you don't…"

"Correct." She extracted a hairpin, as her irises sighted it carefully. "However, I possess the most versatile lock-picking tool you have ever seen." Now she pointed her sight over the keyhole. "Pay attention to perfection, you fool!"

She inserted the item inside the keyhole, as she brought her weapon on the floor next to her feet. Her right hand was now embracing the tool, while her left hand pushed against the cupboard. She began turning the contraption in all directions, while producing various clicking sounds… until a louder one came in her ears: she smiled again.

Her left hand grabbed the nearest handle, as she simply pulled its door with ease. Her eyes closed, as her smile grew.

"Way to go, brainy!" Vira brought her fists below her mouth, as her eyes sparkled.

"You did it!" Hun jumped, while smiling.

"GRRRR!" Bonking sounds boomed from the above. "YOU, I HATE! SCARLET, YOU AND!"

"I told you to surrender… you refused to listen." As the girl reopened her eyes, she immediately checked the cupboard's contents. "You will soon learn to respect someone who's smarter, quicker, kinder and experienced than you."

The inside was offering files, all sharing the same clownish faces. Mirii scowled slightly.

"A young girl has more experience than a woman?" Vira grinned slightly. "Now, that's a laugh…!"

"You better cease your joking nature and support my cause." Mirii's hands went on the first file, pulling it out. "Hunley, cover the rest of the cupboards…" She opened it, seeing nothing but clown faces reported on its papers. "Vira, check their doors and see if they are all locked."

"Yes!" Hun turned into a Squid, as he instantly slid towards the cupboard's vertical surfaces.

"Aaaaaawww…!" Now the woman's clasped hands went near her right cheek. "Hunley is so cute, when he slides all around…!"

The Squid blushed, as he kept sliding on the walls…

PAF!

"Ow!" The taller Inkling grabbed her right shoulder's tip, as she frowned and looked to her right. "What's that all"

Her mouth stood open: several veins were popping out from Mirii's forehead, as her eyes almost squeezed and her fists clenched to the max…!

"… wh-what the…!" Vira's mouth flattened, as her face went paler. "Yo-your face is scaring me…"

"You might have the brawn… but I have the brain." The girl folded her arms tightly. "Don't make me your enemy, Vira… cooperate without complains."

The woman stared carefully at Mirii…

"… you attacked me when I said that Hun is so cute…"

"DON'T MAKE ME REPEAT MYSELF!" The girl bended forward, as smoke came out from her ears.

"Ah… aaaaaaahh!" Vira giggled. "That's why you attacked me even before this…!" Her eyes closed.

The girl growled, as she twisted back at the exposed files.

"Your words are useless, worthless, complete"

Suddenly, Vira managed to get near Mirii's left ear.

"You could had told me earlier, you have a true crush on Hun…" She whispered.

"WH!" Mirii's head looked back at the woman, as her face went fully red. "WH! WH! WH! WH!"

"… eh eh…" The Agent giggled. "Who would had thought, that such methodic Squid was this shy with her feelings?"

"V! V! V! V! V-VIRA!" Mirii frowned a lot. "Y! Y! Y!"

"Not gonna lie…" Vira winked, while resuming her whispering. "… you got your eyes on a really cute Squid." She giggled some more. "He would be your perfect Teddy Bear during your sleeps at night… you would hug him tightly, while you dream"

Ink blasted from Mirii's nose, as her hands covered it. She was stumbling… then, she sprinted towards the room's entrance, while keeping her hands on her nose. Once out of the room, her back leaned over the nearest wall, as she began breathing loudly.

He would be your perfect Teddy Bear during your sleeps at night… you would hug him tightly, while you dream

"G-gaaaaahhh…!" Mirii's eyes compressed, as her face went brightly red. "That… th-that…"

You would hug him tightly

"Wh-while I sleep…" She inhaled the air loudly. "… th-that's… th-the…" She took another loud breath. "… th-that's the… c-cutest idea I-I had ever heard…!"

Suddenly, a scream penetrated her ears: Mirii felt something icy scrolling through her back. Before she would notice, the girl was already facing the room's entrance: Vira on the left, had her hands on one of her cheeks each… while a young, male Stingling was standing next to the ink-covered cupboards.

"Haaaa ha ha ha haaaa! The last laugh, I have!"

The boy was looking at his hands, then down at his clothing: he was wearing a jacket and long pants.

"WH-WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM, YOU WITCH?!" The woman watched the ceiling, while scowling. "WHY YOU TURNED HUN INTO A STINGRAY?!"

Mirii lost her breath… as her eyes were slowly filling themselves and her head properly directed over the ceiling.

"Proceeding well, she was… for my tastes, too well! His appearance I changed, that's why… like this, he will stay, leaves until she."

"NOOOOOO!" Mirii's hands grabbed each one of her tentacles, as her eyes were about to burst! "PLEASE, N-NO! NOT HUNLEY!"

"M-Mirii!" Hun opened his mouth, as his eyebrows rose. "Wh-what are you"

"Leave, you must. Inside the vessel, Scarlet you keep. Inside my room, if you insist getting, experimental rays onto him, I will send…!"

"GAAAAAAAHH!" A tear fell off Mirii's right eye. "H-HAVE MERCY ON HUNLEY…!" She fell on her knees, leaving her tentacles. "H-HE'S INNOCENT! HE HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG!" She gritted her teeth, while sobbing.

Hun dashed towards the girl, as his eyes were also watery. Suddenly, Scarlet appeared from behind the right wall, standing in front of the entrance.

"MIRII!" Her left hand was holding a plastic card. "WHAT HAPPENS?!"

The boy slowed down, wrapping his arms around the girl and closing his eyes.

"Wh-why are you crying?!" He sniffed loudly. "Wh-what's going on…?!"

Vira was glancing at the two Inklings… then at Scarlet… then back on the two Inklings… then back on Scarlet. Finally, her eyes tracked down the plastic card sealed in the transformed Stingray's hand.

"Where did you get that?!" The woman pointed her forefinger at it.

"Found it in safe." Scarlet nodded. "Second one is in here!"

"You know it too?!" Vira kept her mouth opened for a second. "Sweet! We"

"VIRA, WAIT!" Mirii frowned visibly, as some tears were descending from her cheeks. "If you search the last keycard, then Stingret will send her terrible rays over Hunley!" She sniffed loudly. "SHE WILL RUIN HIM, BECAUSE OF HER RIDICULOUS"

"Experimental rays are not a thing!" Scarlet giggled.

…

"I shot at burning rays… they non-functioned!" She looked upwards. "Because I formed goo again! Returning into Stingray I'm, right now!"

"Yo-you are returning into a Stingray?!" Vira threw her arms sideways, in front of her chest.

"SERIOUS YOU?!"

"Otherwise, how did I get card?" She demonstrated her own belonging, flipping it sideways with her wrist, while smiling. "Goo I'm making again!"

"… grrrrrr…" Suddenly, Mirii's eyes stopped her tears.

Hun scowled, turning his head upwards.

"You monster…!" He grimaced. "I-I have never encountered someone this… evil!"

"In flying ship we met! Forgot, you?!"

"… did we?" His right eyebrow rose.

"Aaaah! Idiot, you are! We did, of course!"

"NOW YOU HAVE FULLY DEPLETED MY PATIENCE!" Suddenly, Mirii stood up on her feet, carrying Hun with her.

She slid off his arms, as she charged after the opened cupboards: her hands grabbed and threw each file she finds.

"The cursed keycard!" She threw another file, while inspecting the shelf. "WHERE IS THAT USELESS RUBBISH?!"

"M-Mirii!" Hun dodged a gliding file, by tilting over his right side. "Watch out!" He jumped over his left side.

"Keycard is not inside container!" Scarlet walked rapidly over the rightmost cupboard's right wall. "It is panel inside, we need to touch it."

Mirii was already in front of the wall, as she slammed her hand palms all over the place.

"DO I HAVE TO DEMOLISH THIS MINIMALISTIC FAILURE?!"

A small door lowered down, revealing a plastic card-Mirii snatched it, before twisting behind and running away just as fast.

"FOLLOW ME, SCARLET! I NEED YOUR KEYCARD!"

"Follow!" The woman ran after the girl, as she left a pant.

…

Vira and Hun looked at each other.

"COME, DON'T! I-I… SUPER POWERS, I HAVE!"

Mirii growled, as she was pointed right over the last door…!

"JOKING NOT! MY HANDS IN ELECTRICITY! SEND ORBS I CAN!"

The girl's growl grew even more…

"EVEN SUPER SOLDIER, I HAVE! … ILLUSION DOOR IS! DOOR LIE IS IT AND REMAINS"

The young Inkling slowed down, noticing a thin line near the door's handle. She thrusted her keycard over the left slot, as only the tip of the item was able to enter inside: she kept pushing for two seconds, before flipping the card and tried again.

Quickly, she switched over the right hole, pushing her keycard inside at the first try. Scarlet arrived in front of the left opening, inserting her own keycard as well. Mirii's hands were already on the handle, as she pushed and pushed… until the room's contents were on display.

A tall metal box, full of various screens all over its top place and one large keyboard on the bottom, were positioned on the right side. The left side had a large television screen, sitting in front of a sofa, with a short table standing in between the two.

Stingret escaped through a door-shaped opening in the distance: Mirii chased after the fugitive.

"YOU WILL NOT FLEE FROM JUSTICE, YOU IDIOT!" Her eyes were almost red. "BE PREPARED TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR CRIMES!"
