I should be on that train and gone
It was now time for them to finally leave aunt kate's ranch,and head back home to California with Mike's sister Stephanie in tow.
With his sister now going to be living with them,mike decided to lay down some ground rules,especially towards davy who,mike micky and Peter knew was going to be trouble around Stephanie.
After they were all packed and ready to go,the first person to get in the car was micky who called shotgun. It wasnt until mike got outside that,he told micky they wouldn't be driving home instead they would be taking a train back since he was in no mood to drive all the way home with more stuff and one more person with them.
Only driving to the train station, mike and the others were now standing on the platform waiting for the train to arrive. While they were waiting, peter asked mike how they were going to get the car home too.
"Mike? Hey mike? "peter said tapping Mike on the shoulder
"What is it Pete? "Asked Mike
"How are we getting the car home?"asked Peter
"We're going to have it sent on ahead of us,so it should be there by the time we get home. "Mike said with a sigh
"That is the most ridiculous thing i ever heard."said micky as he leaned against a beam on the platform
Ignoring the comments coming from micky,mike soon looked over at his sister and Davy to make sure he was behaving himself.
With the train tickets in his hand, Mike told them to get on board since they would be pulling out soon.
Now on board the train,the five of them headed to their train car and went inside. Since it was going to take at least three days by train to get home,micky mike,and peter knew they had to keep a close eye on davy who would try almost anything to get close to Stephanie.
"Alright y'all its gonna be a long ride home,so if you can avoid doing anything that might get us kicked off the train, then we'll be just fine. "Mike sighed "I'm especially telling you micky. "
" Why am i being singled out? " asked Micky " What about peter and Davy. Or maybe even your sister huh?"
" Alright fine, lets all just stay in one place so I can keep my eye on all of you. "Said Mike
" But i really wanted to explore the train. "Peter said with disappointment
"Alright fine, just stay out of trouble. said Mike
Taking micky along with him,peter had a grin upon his face as the two of them quickly left the train car. With Stephanie and Davy still in the car with Mike, Stephanie let out a heavy sigh hoping that her brother would ask her what was bothering her. Beginning to think that he was ignoring her on purpose, Stephanie sighed louder and threw herself into the empty seat that was across from his.
"Something wrong kid?"asked mike
"Im bored."Stephanie sighed
"Well kid,there ain't much to do on a train except for lookingout the window. "Said Mike
"What about micky and Peter? You let them out, so why cant i go anywhere? "asked Stephanie
" Mike, i can take her somewhere and see what micky and peter are up to."said davy
"Fine just stay out of trouble. "Said mike looking at his sister
"Thanks big brother."said Stephanie as she kissed her brother on the cheek
"Oh davy,keep your hands to yourself. "said mike as he watched them leave
The second Stephanie and davy left ,they saw that Micky and peter were waiting for them down the hall.
"It's about time you got here."said Micky as he now had a huge grin upon his face
"So? What do we do first?"asked Stephanie
"Anything we want as long as mike doesnt ever learn of what is about to happen. "said Micky
"Are you sure micky?"asked Peter
"Dont worry pete,when Mike's away,micky can play. "micky smiled
With that said, the four of them began walking through all of the different train cars to see if they could find something fun to keep them occupied during the long trip home.
